Staff was literally ASLEEP behind the desk @11am????? I need a job there! Not helpful at all - I had to make calls to figure out a drop off and finally called corporate 800#. 24hr. drop off but not allowed to drop outside the gate? Staff then lied and said he called his DM (BS because I am sure it was the opposite) and said his DM would pick up the trailer so as not to leave it "outside" the gate - funny because I went out to eat lunch 2 days later and guess what - the trailer was still in the EXACT spot I dumped it - outside the gate. I used U-haul for the longest time on numerous occasions but will NEVER use again and will let others know of the horrible customer service.

1 - Ensure the clerk confirms expected return time. This did NOT happen when we picked it up and therefore no return details were provided to us since we ended up returning it after hours. We estimated a 24 hour need, not a 20 hour need so the clerk should have confirmed this prior to giving us the keys. 2 - Clerk should show the clients that the mileage noted on the contract matches what is on the truck. We have concerns that the initial (pickup) mileage was incorrect because we drove ~30 miles only and the odometer showed 120! Therefore we ended up paying much more than we should have!!!!! This should have been a very easy rental and ended up being quite frustrating due to ineffective customer service at the rental site and the lack of communication of expectations.

Give the customer a little more information about the pricing policy and return policy. We did not realize the facility would be closed when we returned the truck and we weren't given any directions on what to do if the place was closed. The online directions were very vague.

The lady at the desk was wonderful and nice. Very helpful and answered my questions. The truck however was not in good shape. There was a small crack in the windshield, the cable of the truck smelled and looked dirty. Renting from Penske and now U-Haul is like night and day.

My experience was wonderful. Dee even opened a few minutes early for me so I didn't have to wait. She took the time to explain everything to me so returning the trailer I rented was quick and easy. I did the express check in and had everything paid for including denying the safetow option. However when my husband picked it up I was charged for the service. I tried to call the location but was just told I should’ve gone with my husband to pick it up and make sure it was right. That’s a little hard when he’s picking up in North Carolina and I’m in Indiana. The lady also said she specifically asked my husband about it. This is a lie because never talked to a lady. He walked in a a guy did it all. I also wanted the receipt in my name for work reimbursement but that didn’t happen either. What’s the point of express check in when it doesn’t do

I used your truck for two days and was charged for four. My bill went from 93 dollars to 289..I had to go back to the store to get the money returned to my account that say will take 3to 4 days. They charge your account immediately but 3to4 days to return. That’s not right. It’s your mistake not mine

The owner of this place seemed, they did not wanted to be in the u-haul rental business. They did not know what they were doing. I wanted a one day rental, they said system is allowing two days, and upon return it will only charge you for one day. I returned the trailer well before one day, and they charged me for TWO days and they are refusing to refund me for the second day. Based on my experience, this is very bad customer service, it is called slamming and overcharging, and I do not recommend to anyone.

Rented a cargo trailer to pick up here. The lady there couldnt get my reservation details right on the computer so had to cancel and start over and check in again for the correct amount to charge me. Then she got nasty with me hooking it to my hitch and the trailer was not level so went to another location at 302 Plaza Dr who changed out the hitch ball with a better riser to make it level. They were very helpful and I would highly recommend that location.

Your call centers are very difficult to work with. Should you have a question about something in the location you are at or going to they cannot answer it. I explained to the lady I was working with that I needed to speak to someone at an exact location. She informed me she would have them call me - no one ever calledme back. Another similar example is the call center lady told me my location had their phones forwarded to the call location. Again no satisfaction from the call center, I went directly to the local location. They informed me that they never had there number forwarded to the call center, therefore I was lied to. Local location informed me the call center always tell everyone that numbers are forwarded to the center, simply not true. My advice get rid of the call centers and speak directly to the local location, at least you get a true and correct answer.



I was debit pending twice for the same price on my debit card, this is ridiculous. . I had a very bad experience with this situation.

This location was fine except the tiny parking area to drop the trailer. However my online experience and with the 800 number was unacceptable. They wasted my time on Sunday and blamed me for it and told me I was at the wrong location. All while the other location wasnt even open. Then I had to spend hours on the phone forcing them to give me their $50.00 "reservation guarantee" If I have a choice I will not use Uhaul again.



I reserved and picked up a 5x8 trailer for a 750-mile one-way trip going north and it had no tread on the tires. I drove through 2 snow storms and felt very fortunate and lucky that I made it through all the weather without anything bad happening. My suggestion is to make sure these trailers have good tires on them before taking a trip through the upper northeast in the winter time.
