Pit stop is a little ma and pa convenience store. Not the attendants fault, but he had no clue how to process my rental, much less hook the trailer up for me, safety inspection etc... After we finally got my rental paperwork processed, I hooked the trailer up myself. He never came outside, and if he would have, he wouldn't have known what to do. Fortunately, I am familiar with trailers etc... so it wasn't a big deal, other than taking a really long time to process the rental.

I'm not clear but I did the early registration and the gentlemen said he only rece'd part of paperwork. So checking out took 30min because I had to answer and write down same information for him. The truck was clean and we had good trip with no problems.

Please let the customer know in advance that there is a problem in getting the equipment so plans can be changed instead of the 30 minute surprise.

I reserved a 4x6 cargo trailer, Uhaul changed my order to a 5x8 utility trailer that I couldn't use. I had 3 reservations that they did this to. Not happy, had to pay more $ than budgeted for this rental.

The first truck I signed papers for would not start without revving the engine, and the gas gage was broken, lying all the way flat down not working. When I swapped trucks, the process took a long time, and the person doing the paperwork told me it did not matter how many miles, even when I told him we would be taking two trips. We ended up going 100 miles over, and we were charged an extra $40.

I got no intro to the trailer-hitch, hook-up, etc. I was told the clerk did not lift, had to pay someone off the street to lift the trailer up will I backed up the car. Could not print my contract, had no idea what to do. Horrible experience.

He needs more training so the the next customer won't have to spend an hour and a half to get the equipment that had been reserved the day before. Would not use UHaul again.

This was the second location I was sent to in the same day!!! The first location was 6 miles from my home. This location was 15 miles one way!!! 30 mile round trip and I made reservations a week ahead!!!? Why do you take reservations if you keep switching the location? Ugh!!! Poor planning on YOUR PART

More personnel. Only one person was available. I had to disconnect the trailer from my truck myself. Trailer had no jack to take it off vehicle.

The guy that rented us the equipment was a moron. He didn't inform us until after he rented us the truck and we were walking out the door that he didn't have moving pads or the dolly. He took over an hour to get the paper work done on the truck. He never did a walk around on the truck, he just handed us the keys and said good bye. The truck started having issues on our trip and ended up costing us more in fuel than it should have. The truck itself was so loud from road noise you couldn't hear the radio.

We placed our order 2+weeks in advance and they still didn't have the dollies that we ordered. Horrible customer service a day horrible experience. Will never use again and will NEVER recommend uhaul.

It was hard to work with this rental agent. He was hesitant to return the equipment to his location, because he said I wasn't supposed to be at his location. He wanted to charge me an extra day, even though I turned in the equipment on the day I was supposed to. I was under the impression that his location was the correct location for the drop off.

I reserved a 17' truck to pick up in vestavia, since I live in Hoover. I was supposed to pick up at 7 am. The day before I was to pick up, I got an email stating I was now picking up a 20' truck in Montevallo. Completely out of my way. When I called they took $45 off the truck rental and also told me I would be given an extra 100 miles to cover my inconvenience. When I picked up the truck, it had 3/4 tank of gas. I turned it in full, but was told I had gone over my miles....I said no way I used over 227 miles to which I was told I only had 142. I informed them of all the changes they had caused me and that the billing dept. had told me 227 and I also informed them that the extra 1/4 tank of gas I left in the truck more than made up for a few so called extra miles, which was not the case anyway because I was told I had 227 not 142. I don't plan on using u haul anytime soon. Seems the online reservation and advance upfront prep on the customers part doing advance payment etc. is USELESS! I did all that and still waited 1/2 hr. While the attendant typed all my information into the system again, 1 finger at a time.

No printer for receipt. No utility dolly. No furniture pads requiring me to go to a second location to get supplies to move. Truck had front end shake at 60 mph which was terrible and bounced the truck up and down. Could not see out of the mirrors due to the truck shaking. Store was not able to note current damage to truck or interior without paperwork. Although they had good customer service skills they have no business renting trucks.

The person who knew how to "check in" the trailer was not at the location. We had to wait a few minutes for him to get there. Then, he had to call someone on the phone to walk him through the check in process. However, it was convenient to University of Montevallo
