Mount a winch to the car dollies to make loading cars easier, with a pully that can also be used to pull the car back off the dolly. I'm getting too old to be pushing cars up and/or off. I used a Come-along to do both.

The man (don’t remember his name) I ordered my trailer through was so patient and very helpful the next morning I called to change reservation time he was very accommodating the gentleman I signed with when I picked up trailer was very nice and fast the guy who loaded the trailer on my hitch was awesome and the guy who checked me in was horrible (kidding) he was very nice checked me out real quick threw some box away for me I honestly think I had 5-6 different staff members and they were all great!!! Thanks for all your help ;)

Came into the store and had to wait a few minutes which isn't a big deal. Biggest complaint is reserving a truck. I called and reserved a truck for Friday September 14th and I got an email saying I was picking it up Monday the 10th. So I called and rescheduled for Friday with a 17' truck. And now on Friday I call to make sure they have a truck available and I'm told they only have a 15' truck available not the 17'. The 15 ends up working, but the run-around I was led on was unnecessary

The 2 front ratchets were just about worn out and needs to be replaced. I was disappointed that the trailer did not come with a spare tire which reluctantly forced me to buy your insurance.

The trailer I rented from U-Haul Moving & Storage of Monroe (MI) had a roll up door and the spring broke on it the day we were supposed to be using it. The door was jammed open and wouldn't close! The whole purpose of renting a trailer was so that we would have a DRY place to move some antique items. Since it rained (downpours) all weekend we couldn't risk the rain damaging our property. Couldn't use the trailer at all. By FAR the worst experience I have ever had with a rental. The guy at the uhaul place didn't seem interested in anything but the money (which I was charged in full for)! NEVER go to this place if customer service is necessary.

This location rented us a trailer that was not usable. We just got married and my husband had to follow behind me while I hauled the trailer across the country. You took 2 day's of my honeymoon away from me as my husband had to drive our Harley all across the country behind me while I hauled your un usable trailer. The pre tow inspection was not done correctly, they didn't notice the issue and we were stuck hauling this trailer and not being able to use it. We tried to leave it in Myrtle Beach but they wanted to charge us almost $500 more to get it home to Michigan. This entire process is unacceptable. You need to train your staff adequately. I would expect your employees to have knowledge in the hauling business as that is what you do. You affected my honeymoon on top of it all, time I can never get back with my husband. We should get an apology at the least if not a full refund for renting us something that wasn't going to work for what we needed. The rep at the U Haul knew exactly what our intentions were and if he was properly trained we could have rented a trailer that would have worked. This entire experience has been very upsetting to say the least.

The employee put the wrong truck number in the computer to begin with and accused us of (A) not returning the 2-wheeler and pads (that we never had) and (B) returning the truck to the wrong location. He told my husband that we have to pay for the missing items. Finally, he went to the manager and the manager noticed that the truck number was wrong. Everything went well from there.

The phone customer service was extremely helpful, as our reservation was cancelled by a supervisor in Ohio in reservations without my knowledgement. Not sure why and neither does UHual. I was not compensated or reimbursed for any of this issue. That's the least that could have been done. I spent 5 straight hours on the phone only to get nothing from UHual but a huge headache and a large bill to show for it, as my route had to be changed from a 10-30 mile trip to a 200 mile trip. As far as the staff at the location pick up, they were very rude and disrespectful and treated me like I was nobody. All they were concerned about was getting out of there location at 7 p. M. When they closed. There was a lot of miscommunication and misunderstanding, wish we all make mistakes, so I treated them if they were under no one intent to do, unfortunately the staff that I dealt with didn't steal they should do the same. So I have to say the customer service the cleanliness and the helpfulness of this location in particular I'm Telegraph Road in Monroe Michigan was extremely horrible. We were finish taking care of by the general manager himself who had to come up hours later after they closed as we sat outside trying to get this situation resolved on the phone with U-Haul as the employees left, with no care for us customers.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NEEDED TO IMPROVE. THE ASSOCIATES THAT WERE THERE WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO PICK UP MY RENTAL FOR SAT AM WAS POOR AT BEST THE YOUNG MAN WITH THE BEARD NEEDS TO HAVE SOME MORE TRAINING ON HOW HIS BEHAVIOR REFLECTS YOUR BUSINESS. IF IT WERE UP TO ME I WOULD NOT BE BACK. HE MAKE THE CUSTOMER FEEL LIKE THEY ARE AN IMPOSITION. HE CLEARLY SHOWED HOW HE FELT ABOUT WORKING THERE THIS WEEKEND.

There was a sign posted at Drop-Off Location to "Stop and Wait inside Truck for Associate upon returning" the equipment, but no associates came outside to assist with returning the equipment. I waited for 10 minutes before going inside. The associate(s) did not ask me if I had any questions or concerns.

Customer service wasn't great, rates were not accurate with reservation, usual itself was filthy inside with an oil like substance that I had to clean before using. I was told there was a quarter tank of gas when there was an 8th.

Get your phone's repaired put toilet paper and paper towels in your public bathroom make sure when the people in "Arizona" make reservations for your customers you actually have what was reserved for them. This was supposed to cost me 19.95 and it ended up costing me almost 80.00 by the time I was done but I had to pick up my couch so I paid for the can vs a trailer rental. Very disappointed . Feel manager should've charged me much less then he did. Very inconvenienced

I feel as if I was over charged . Employees were rude and disrespectful. Also when I made the reservation for the truck I was told there would be a smart lift dolly with it. But Didn't get one. I watch an employee place more numbers into hand held device than what was on odometer. Price was way too high. I asked about a Michigan charge but got ignored.

Having used this location for years, it has always been a top U-Haul center after having lived in several states. There has been a change of personnel and the attitude of the employees has also changed. Equipment was always fully checked out and ready to go but the last 3 rentals have had issues . . . low tire pressure, check engine lights, etc. The response . . it is fine, the shop looked at it and it is fine. Equipment is not brought up the office either any more . . . handed the keys and told it is at the end of the line by the road. The location is convenient and open 7 days / week but it has lost some of the employee care that set it apart from other centers.
