Couldn't properly answer questions.

Very disappointing. I had a scheduled time that I was picking uhaul up and there was not an employee who could help me. I had to wait for a uhaul trained employee to arrive. 20 minutes later an employee arrived. Who honestly didn’t have a clue what she was doing. After an hour of waiting to pick up a uhaul I was finally on my way. Very disappointing considering we were on a time crunch. When we went to drop it off. They charged me for more mileage. Claimed we used 53 miles when we only used 35. I paid it because I needed to move on again on a time crunch. The first time I used uhaul and I will never use uhaul again. I don’t understand how you can offer a service but not train your employeees.

I guess it is my fault initially for not making sure that I was renting from the U-Haul facility on N. Telegraph in Frenchtown, MI. However, I was routed to a U-Haul location on south Dixie Highway in Monroe, only to finally locate this facility, then discover that U-Haul had moved my rental to a location on S. Telegraph in Monroe, MI. When I got there, there was no one who had ever written a contract before and it took over 1/2 hour for someone qualified to arrive. This was very poor service and I will never go back to either of these locations again.



There was no dolly available even though we had told them we needed one and they said it would be there. They completely messed up my bill (charging me extra/wrong) and I am currently working on getting that sorted out.

I called and reserved a 15' van at 10am over the phone, showed up at 10:45 to get the van and was told they didn't have one at the Monroe location near Stewert and Telegraph Rd. I was then told I had to go to the Dunbar location to get one without a reservation from there before someone else grabbed it. I showed up at the Dunbar location and had to wait until a Uhaul employee showed up since the gas station employee didn't know how to work the Uhaul service. I barely managed to get the van in time since there were 2 people in front of me in line and only 3 vehicles outside, all with no reservations on them. Reservations apparently mean nothing to Uhaul and Uhaul call center has no clue what locations have what vehicles available at any given time.

I called but no one answered, so when I got there they had to call someone in to assist me. The first person they called didn't answer their phone the first few times, then they had to call someone else.

The lady working the counter was rude, rolling her eyes, and kept walking away to help her "customers", which apparently we were not. She had no clue what she was doing.

This location is horrible and should not be associated with Uhaul. The employees admitted they are a new Uhaul location, however this does not excuse their lack of professionalism. First, picking up the truck that I had checked in already online took 52 minutes. Second, the staff had no clue of how to operate the Uhaul computer nor did they understand Uhaul policies. Third, my price more than doubled from my quote that I had received confirmation of. The staff could not explain the difference and could not attempt to fix the problem. After another hour on the phone with Uhaul customer service and another week, at least Uhaul honored my original quote.

Make sure that u-Haul puts in the computer the other location on telegraph rd. We found this location only by chance. When I questioned the West Branch store they re-asured me this was the only drop off in Monroe.
