Quick and easy. An unforeseeable logistics problem meant I had to return the truck much later, after the office had closed, and was not able to self sign in either. I called them the next morning and they said they had already taken care of it all.

The customer service rep here is miserable. You should not have someone like this representing your company. Very cold. No where to be found when we returned the vehicle. I believe overcharged us for the gas aswell.

I drove the truck for 8km and ended up paying $12 because the truck wasn't full. When I told the rep that it's supposed to be 1.45 per litre she said the system charges automatically. Fairly ridiculous and spoiled the experience.

The GM called and ensured that the truck I was taking was the one being dropped off in Hamilton- he called a number, waited on hold for a Uhaul rep and was confirmed I was dropping this truck in Hamilton. We left, packed and moved myself and I recieved a text from Uhaul saying my drop off was in Etobicoke. I called but waited too long and then I went on online chat. First time no one responded to me - the second time I chatted with Karen who also said I was to drop it off in Etobicoke. This morning I dropped it off where MY RESERVATION stated. On the contract I was given I did see it says Etobicoke drop off but I had no issues dropping it off. Originally I made the booking to PICK UP in Etobicoke and DROP OFF in Hamilton. My pick up location was changed to Mississauga, which accounted for the extra mileage I had to pay - no biggie. My issue was that I had no help from Karen online chat - she said call the office in the AM. She said that the truck I had in my possession was never picked up. No, get your shit together Uhaul. The GM at this location was very nice however and gave me his number in case anything went wrong. I didn't end up calling him because I thought since UHAUL sent me this text, I will deal with them not just his location.

I booked a 15' truck on the U-Haul website at a MUCH closer location to my house, but a rep called me to tell me no trucks were available at that location, and the closest one is approximately 10km away, which adds up when I had to pay for the mileage. When I tried to get clarification about why the website showed this location as having availability, the rep wasn't communicative and quite abrupt with her answers. When I arrived at this location, the staff said the rep (from over-the-phone) didn't transfer my booking properly because it showed that I wanted the $15 insurance, when I opted out of insurance during my booking. He did not know how to remove it from the system, and called the U-Haul call centre, and the lady on the phone with him was quite rude and told him not to call her since there were many phone calls, and she should just use the in-system chat. He told her the customer (me) was in front of him and he wants to make sure I get speedy service, but the lady was adamant that he hangs up and chat with with her via the system. U-Haul has always been my go-to, but after this experience, I'd rather rent a truck from Home Depot since they provide much better customer service and do not cheat customers with their online bookings.

Good service. Was clear with his instructions of what to do with the vehicle, and what it was. Was a little quick to get my signature and payment. Sketchy entrance to the premises, and not very professional look. Messy and dirty office. Made me feel uninvited.

This was by far the worst experience I have received. Not on Uhaul, however with the service provider (Just in time self storage). To start, it was requested by myself to walk to the uhaul truck and drive it over to the facility. When I arrived at the truck, the interior was disgusting. It was dirty beyond description, mud stains everywhere, cigarette ash in the cup holders and in the truck, the cup holders were pooled with water, and the steering wheel sticky. Needless to say, I had to provide some self cleaning just to feel comfortable driving this truck alone. The experience with the location was poor as well. Granted I made a change to the pick up time of my vehicle, the drop off time should not have been changed. However, next morning I had a received a call from the location which I perceived as threatening and unprofessional. Never should a professional location reach out to a paying customer with such a tone. Thank you to Uhaul customer service for being fantastic. You made things right. However, I still have been left with a feeling of disgust that this can even happen and that the trucks can be provided in such a quality. If I have to rent from this location again, I may consider moving my business to Discount truck rentals - at least my km's are covered.

Our pickup experience with Uhaul was unacceptable. We were never told there was a change in our pickup location or what location we would be picking up from, so naturally we were under the impression our preferred location would be where we picked up the vehicle. we were never given any information otherwise. after walking over 30 minutes to get to the location, we were told by them that the location was changed - to a place that was a 30 minute drive away! We had to pay almost $50 for a cab to get there, and spend extra money on gas for the truck. It is not the fact we didn't get our preferred location, it was the fact that we were never told by uhaul where we could pick the truck up.

I found the staff rude and in helpful, told to move my car "you can't park there " even though it was a parking lot in . Then had to hike to another lot to get vehicle. Upon checking the van I told her the gas was not quite full even the gage was showing near the full mark, I asked her to note that this was NOT Full as it normally would be past the full marker. She did nothing. I rented the exact same van 2 days earlier form another uhaul and traveled the same Mileage , so I New it would be about $7.00 in gas. I put $10.00 in them one to bring the gage to the SAME LOCATION as when I picked up . On return I was told I didn't put gas in and would be charged . I was also told to drive the van back to the other lot ! This is the WORST Uhaul I have ever been to and will NEVER use it again. Terrible place and customer service!!!

Arrived and attempted to pick up my U-Haul. Was informed that there was an outstanding fee under my name from 2014 for $7. Why would such a minimal fee not have been charged to my credit card at that time? This took approximately an hour off of the amount of time I had the U-Haul and caused a great deal of unnecessary duress. I am very upset.
