The vehicle had been sitting in the lost for an extended period of time and was covered in a thick layer of snow and the windshield was encased with a thick layer of ice and it was very cold. I expected that at least it could have been brushed off and the ice removed. Took us a long time to get it ready to drive. Also, I specifically asked if the inside of the cab was cleaned for COVID reasons and they said yes. I brought my own wipes and it was really dirty.
The uhual wasn't ready. It was filled with snow. I was guaranteed to have one ready at 930, it wasn't . When I went to look at the uhaul and seen it filled with snow I went back in to get another truck. I was told that's all he had . He wasn't going to help me remove the snow I had to tell him this is bad customer service. He finally came out with a brush to help . It took me an half and hr to get a truck that was suppose to be ready.
The place was closed when I attempted to pick up the uhaul so I called and he said they were closed due to the weather and I said, I'm moving today, the weather isn't stopping me so he sent a guy to meet me with a key for a truck. I wasn't impressed. The truck was cold and needed windows scraped off and snow removed. The uhaul was all dented up and beat up. Plated are Arizona if you want to check on it.
I tried to do the phone app check in. It didn't work. I went inside and ended up being helped by Leo. He was awesome! Smart. Patient. Helpful. Explained everything. A great guy. DO NOT LOSE THIS VALUABLE EMPLOYEE!
Truck is parked on a different street compared to the location stated at the beginning of the pickup process; this area is quite janky and does not feel safe. The pickup process took much longer than expected; customers should be pre-approved at time of reservation instead of having to complete all the approval info at the time of picking up the truck - only inspecting the truck should occur at time of pickup. During the return of the truck, at the end of the process of the app it stated "return keys to box" but did not provide info on which box or what the code was again... Went inside to get help from the customer service representative who was incredibly rude ... one of the worst interactions I've had in a long time.
Make sure the ceiling of the truck isn't leaking dirty snow/water next time. It got all over my furniture and destroyed my computer.

Trucks needs to be cleaned out at all times it's covid out here they need to be wiped down and clean after every use
There was a mask and beverage in the cup holder with graffiti on the side and door that wouldn't close. Really bad. But when I complained about gas reimbursement they where nice and understanding and gave me my money back.
Leo the attendant was all good. The uhaul online system/mobile check out is terrible. Reserved a truck for 8, get there to pick up and the mobile app says i cant check it out and gotta come back at 9. This puts me over a hour behind my moving schedule. Get there at 9 and my truck has been given to another customer. What the f@$k!!! Get your shit together. Either offer a seamless mobile experienfe or dont offer one at all. Your sophmoric effort left me over two hours late in everything I had to do that day. Terrible customer experience.

It was spooky. My wife walked in on someone pooping. We didn't know where to go lots of the uhauls were graffitied and in poor condition but it made for a good story later.
Be more detailed in the pick up process. I got an alert for which truck to get then couldn't find the truck went inside the location which I chose not to do that's why it was all online. The guy was just like what do you need you have to finish the steps, had me push through everything online which also included inspecting the truck. He then gave me the key and told me where to find the truck. It was ok but maybe next time have it more detailed because after passing through everything I was told a different number truck then what was sent the first time.
The representative was wonderful. I got stuck in front of the storefront because of the recent snowstorm in my personal vehicle and he even offered to help my boys push me out. He was very personable and professional. You should honored to have him as an employee. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service.
I had my uhaul scheduled for pick up at 8am but apparently 24 hr pick isn't available for that area so why was it an option? Upon pick up as I tried to check in for my vehicle, I got the message I need to wait till 9am for when the store opens and was unable to pick it up. Getting there at 9am, there was a line so I got my vehicle at 9:40am!! I had a schedule for my apartment complex to use their freight elevator at 10:30am to 12:30am. I was very late and could only transport the big items to make up for lost time. I am so disappointed at uhaul and their scheduling process. Not going to that location anymore and I am hesitant to use uhaul again!
Trailer was locked shut, and the rep said it must be from the previous customer and that they didn't have either keys or bolt cutters. Had to buy a pair at Lowes. Then I was charged for an extra day even though it was dropped off on time.
1.) Truck Was Not Checked In - after I dropped it off. They waited an extra day for what ever reason. 2.) I was called and first told the truck was stolen. Then they told me that the truck was broken into. Then they wanted the keys. All of which was turned in the same night I rented it. 3.) All of the above, seems like a huge scam to me. I honestly didn't even need a UHaul my load was so small, but I did it any way thinking "oh 29.99 for the day..." Nope, I don't think I will ever use this location, and in the future will support a local business, not your chain if I can help it. Terrible experience.
The location I went to the manger there was very helpful and straight forward of how the business operates, very well informed!!
I just wish the location was closer to southern metro area.
Amazing customer services, fast checking
U-Haul should not impose drop-off locations on customers. I will think twice about using U-haul in the future. And I understand that it is not the fault of specific locations and businesses which is why my review on the locations is good. But my overall experience with the customer service department was appalling. I asked why I was being asked to return the equipment to a far locations when they were multiple locations close to me, and was told that I returned it to the nearest U-haul location and not the one that was written on my paperwork that I would be charged a fee. When I did not request that location.
It was difficult to find the location, customer service person who works at the auto shop/U-Haul was extremely rude, unprofessional and just terrible and he did not give clear information on locating rental vehicle which was blocks away, or specific return policy. The business area was hard to get to, lacked parking and was very unsafe. I thought that the truck had been log in as returned following several phone calls with U-Haul an O., but weeks later I received a large bill for mileage, gas, and rental fee; the truck had been broken into, stolen and had a accident in another city. Because I had major conflicts with employee O. I will never use this location again. However, U-Haul supervisor Rick was very professional, concerned and competent in completely resolving my problems he also adjusted and corrected billing.
We opted for the Truck/Share 24/7 and it was not provided. We were there at 8am to get truck and they got in at 9am and said they don't provide that service. The truck was on the street and not cleaned out. We were delayed which caused issue with the movers. Called customer service and they said take it up with Minneapolis Auto Care which they placed the blame on corporate. No compensation was given and we were actually charged more- for dolly and moving blankets which we did not have or request. NOT happy with this service at this location. I am requesting refund for items not charged along with compensation for mileage.
Take lots of pictures before using the vehicle and after. This location didn't have employees wearing masks as required.
