I loved the convenience of "no contact pickup/drop off"! However, I feel a little more could have been handled in advance so that pickup could have been expedited. I tried to be diligent in showing pictures of prior damage. But it was difficult. I know there were stickers showing prior damage, but it was hard to tell where the previous scratches may have begun/ended. I did picture some additional scratches that i thought were noteworthy. It would be helpful if it was shared with the renter what minor damage needs to be identified. Also, I wasn't sure where to add those pictures that I wanted to send. I called the customer service rep and she guided me to send to her email address. The return process was easy. However, with returns being done "after hours", it needs to be understood that some pictures are more difficult to show details of the cleanliness of truck, location of parking, etc. Overall I give a B+ to my experience with U-Haul today. Thanks for introducing the no-contact reservation. That receives an A+!
The 800# needs to let customers be aware of the closing times of the U-Haul pickup locations. I had specified my pickup time would be around 3:00pm and when I went to get the rental I was almost denied service because they closed their U-Haul department at 2:00pm. I want to recommend that the fuel should always be picked up and returned on a full tank. It doesn't make any sense to have to head straight to the gas station after pickup. It's the easiest solution for everyone's time and money as you don't have to guess how much to put in to make it to a certain level and when you pickup you're ready to go.
The folks at Miller's we're accommodating and understanding of the trouble I've been having with the U-HAUL company.
No problems checking vehicle.
The glass in just about every rental vehicle I have used is typically very dirty. A cold water wash of the vehicle is not sufficient. I bring paper towels and Windex with me every time I rent a vehicle because I can count on the windows, windshield and mirrors being dirty. This rental facility is otherwise outstanding. They are always friendly and quick in and out of the door.
With other locations, they gave free miles within a hundred mile radius. I was charged 29 cents per mile and did not go but less than 30 miles. Office very nice and courteous to deal with.
Very pleased with the rental experience. Mr. Miller is a wonderful man.

I've rented from U-Haul 29 times in the past 29 weeks. We've been using the U-Haul for a nonprofit COVID19 food relief initiative. The folks at Miller's are first class! However, the experience and run around we experienced this morning at another U-Haul center was terrible. We had an 8:30 mobile 24/7 truck share reservation. When I arrived at 8:15, I was informed by the person on duty, who happens to be the owner, that they didn't know how to rent a truck and I'd have to wait until a guy came in at 9am. We had an appointment at a large bakery distribution facility at 9:39 and couldn't wait. So, we began looking for other options. We wound up getting a truck from Miller's, but we're unable to meet our arrival time. We were able to use the truck the rest of the day for other grocery pick ups. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. BridgingRVA.org has been one of the larger grocery delivery Initiatives to the homebound in our city. We called early on and asked I there was any interest on Uhauls part to help support this effort. We were told no. Over the past 29 weeks, the truck share program has failed more than 25% of the time. We've just kind of rolled with it, but this morning we decided enough was enough. Our plan going forward is to use a different rental truck provider.
This was the worse uhaul truck I've ever had to drive.
Just a piece of information; because of COVID-19, at times there are no toll collectors for cash payments. This means a charge is placed on the vehicle at no fault to the customer. Keep this in mind.
the app was slow and difficult to use and I still ended up having to wait in lines for drop off and pick up. very frustrating. I won't use U-haul again
I wish I had been informed about the Smartphone return option when I picked up the truck. Also wish I had gotten basic information to orient me to the vehicle, such as how to turn on lights, radio, etc.
Very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Will 100% use this location again if I need a Uhaul in this area.

The people at Millers are Fantastic! Great group of people, warm friendly, real people. They had us in and out of there fast, and had fun with the folks at Millers Auto Center. I highly recommend Miller Auto Center and UHaul. A+ ALL THE WAY
One of the right rear tires had a hug hole in the sidewall. We did not notice this until we got home. There was no inspection done when we picked it up, presumably because it was raining.
