I was charged for 188 miles, I only drove around 88. So I was robbed for $80. There was marijuana edibles on the floor of the cab. I also find it very dishonest to rent a 25 foot truck and the floor of the bed measures less than 12'.
I am waiting for a return call that I requested to discuss my rental. I made the reservation a month in advance and the day before my big move day I was called and told I need to go to a further location and a later time. Super frustrating when you are closing on a home. The truck had no AC which made for a long hot drive time be returned. I asked for a discount for these two inconveniences.
I booked a 10ft truck 2 months earlier, 2 days prior to my move I was told my truck was ready to go, the morning I picked it up all they had was a 15 ft....I took it but I was very upset because it was to big. I couldn't get that particular location to return any calls or the phone would say mailbox full. As an older woman I didnt appreciate any of this. I expected u haul to be a much better company than I have experienced. When they emailed my final bill my address is wrong. Right street wrong city and state. Also since you charge more if a truck is returned early maybe a small refund is in order. Thank you

The first place they had me scheduled at was supposed to be open, but wasn't. This was an alternate they sent me to and well worth the extra 2 mile drive. Chris was friendly and helped me immediately. He didn't waste my time and was extremely efficient in getting me out of there.
Does it matter? I made a mistake and put 40 dollars extra on my gas card. I should've get my money back or some kind of credit but you didn't. So what's the difference?
The truck I was given for this trip should have been put in junk yard the side window to see any vehicles was broken had to drive in right hand land couldn't see out of it. Inside was filthy and falling apart,couldn't plug in cause light was hanging to much more to list when I dropped the truck off the employees were shocked at the shape of the truck

Do not send customers going out of town or out of state in an old truck. Clean the trucks better so they don't smell. The truck I had was horrible on gas mileage and did not shift very well
This location saved me on a Sunday. I was frustrated because I had ordered a Uhaul online and tried to pick it up at another location and I was having issues online. TERRIBLE! I will never do that again. I would rather deal with a live person or just come to Apache Sands!
I actually reserved this rental at a location closer to my home. They sent me to this location to pick up the rental as they didn't have one available. This location was further away therefore adding miles to what I was to be charged for and at .99 cents a mile that adds up. Should be an allowance built in for this type situation.
I'm not sure of the name of the gentleman that helped us but he was very professional and extremely helpful and kind with getting the trailer set up and also taken off when we got back.
Chris was very helpful over the phone and in person. He suggested the Cargo Van and I will DEFINITELY rent one of those, again!
The guy who helped me was very nice.
The truck was dirty inside and out. There's a crack in the middle of the windshield that needs to be replaced. The gas cap is faulty. It is not sealing properly, and is creating a vapor lock. The gas gauge is also faulty. I drive the truck 31 miles, it cost me 35$ in gas, because as I was filling it, first it wouldn't take more than 2$ of gas at a time, then the gauge wouldn't move. I stopped the gas pump at 35$, and the needle had not lives at all when the auxiliary was turned on Everything else worked, but that. It wasn't until I drove the truck back 5 miles, and sat with it idling another 15 mins that the gauge finally read over full. Great. So I probably put $10 too much in the gas tank. I turned the truck in, but the rep had to leave early for an emergency, so I didn't get to talk to him I left a message to be called to discuss this with him, and the rental amount, instead, I get no phone call, and an email. So here I am writing you. I hope I get some satisfaction and someone will write me back. Thank you. Emy Koenig
This was one of the worst experiences regarding service I have had. Not this locations fault but more related to the failures of the website and training of local representatives regarding policies. I went to the website for my local u-haul in Star Valley Arizona and booked a 6 x 12 utility trailer. When I looked at the confirmation, I luckily noticed the in small print that the website had booked me a pickup site 90 miles away in Mesa. I called and spoke to Jason at Star Valley to correct the problem. He said they did not have that trailer there. I said I was going to be in the Mesa area and could pick up the trailer there but would need to drop it off back in Payson as I did not plan on returning to the Valley after the rental. He said that would work and he would put a note in the reservation to avoid a one way rental charge since they did not have the required unit at Star Valley. Minutes before picking up the trailer the next day, I received a message regarding problems with the reservation. I called and was told I would need to return the trailer to the Apache Sands location and could not return it to Payson. With a limited window of opportunity to pick up my supplies, I ended up needing to make an additional 3 hour round trip to return the trailer. Add in a delay when the website crashed at the Apache Sands location and overall this ended up an extremely stressful event. Got call later from customer service which stated so sorry cannot do anything to compensate you for all your inconvenience. No more U-Haul rentals for me until you Fix your web booking site to highlight when a customer is being directed to a site for pickup other than the one they began at and get better staff education so the problem is not compounded further.
I waited in line for 20 min. When I got to the counter, the man took my keys. I asked if I need to wait and sign off and he said â€œnoâ€. I find another $200 charged and I called the location. The man there said we never returned the dolly. WE RETURNED THE DOLLY. I specifically asked to wait to sign off and the Hispanic man told me all was fine and I could go. When I extended the truck for a second day through the 800 number, she told me there was no charge for the extra day. If I have to pay for the extra day, that is fine BUT WE REFUSE TO PAY FOR THE DOLLY THAT WE RETURNED.
