Absolute bullshit. Someone parked their U-haul behind my car and I was unable to get my car for two days! Nobody from U-haul claimed they were able to help including district manager who said he'd help and then disappeared. The location owner did not answer their phones all weekend even when I was standing outside their building and could see someone walking around inside the office. I'm fucking furious as this impacted my personal life and cost me a lot of money taking Ubers to get around. U-haul owes me. I'm going to talk to them tomorrow when they're back from their dandy weekend.
Long wait time on the phone. Locations stated they weren't that busy. the local U-Haul representatives were very helpful. Excellent customer service on the phone and in person.
The UHaul website located @ https://www.uhaul.com/DamageCoverage/ includes the following description of Safemove Plus insurance; Safemove PlusÂ® - Protection While Moving - The only coverage that includes overhead damage and tire protection. Exclusion Free Coverage - Coverage for ANY accidental damage to the U-Haul truck (including collision with an overhead object). Purchased this insurance and incurred body damage (scratch) from collision with an overhead object which was reported when the vehicle was returned. UHaul has charged for damage and stated it was a DENTED corner post! Beware of bait-and-switch..
Time to pick up the rental. It took over an hour from when we showed up to when we drove away in the truck. It seemed excessive.
I was drastically overcharged. What should have been an intown job for no more than 50 dollars turned into almost over 200 dollars worth of charges. This was my first u-haul experience and I wish someone had been looking out for me, obviously your sales people won't.
I submitted a request online for a truck and was never sent a code or anything regarding picking up the keys to my truck. I called and after the first agent I spoke with changed my reservation time without my asking I was transferred to a line where I waited half an hour before becoming frustrated and hanging up. I called again stressing how now I am behind on my reservation and my request was only for two hours so I would appreciate not being place on a long hold - I was directed to the customer service line who transferred me AGAIN within literally a minute of speaking with him - without even getting a chance to fully explain the situation. I waited on hold for another half an hour until I was finally helped by the 24/7 truck agent who had told me that your system was bugged and that was the reason my initial reservation hadn't gone all the way through. I asked for clarification and was reassured that I had done everything on my end in regards to submitting my reservation and that YOUR system was the issue because it hadn't finalized the reservation and the only way I would be able to resolve this would be by calling and going through the absolute nightmare that is your telephony customer service. I will go out of my way to avoid your services in the future and will be launching a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
My truck was scheduled to be picked up at 6:00am. Upon arrival I was unable to pick up my truck using the online process. When I called customer service I waited on hold for 30+ minutes. I then chatted in instead and the rep told me that the reservation agent had not accepted the rental even though the payment for the truck was processed through my account 5 days before. I then had to call customer service again and after 2 phone calls finally got my truck at 7:30am.

Guy seemed unaware of what to do. Truck filthy. Pick up location moved far away, into a bad area of town, without my permission. I was informed, but wasn't given the chance to say no.
Everything was great except the wiring on the first trailer wasn't working so we had to try a different one.
I will always bring my moving needs to this place .the one on country club and broadway rips you off treats you like your ripping them off very rude people abd that manager is a faggot for brains couldnt count 50 cents to get his head out of his ass.
The office was not really up to date. And parking if hauls was difficult. Also the worker at this location charged me for fuel when I made sure that I had returned the uhaul with the right amount of fuel. I am pretty upset about that.
The owner was very easy to do business with. We left our key on the truck key ring and he was kind enough to call and let me come pick up the key on a day when the office was closed. Very knowledgeable in the rental process and informed me of everything regarding insurance coverage, along with the truck procedures.

I put 8.7 miles on the truck.. And when i went to drop it off I put 8$ in the tank...i know i filled it up to where it said on the sheet yet when i returned it they said it was w gallons short... Extra 9$. Then, and I know this is my fault but i couldnt find a driver to return the truck on time and the person who rented the truck to me went on line with my info and booked another reaervation in my name..Shady business if you ask me. Cause i never authorize my information to be re-used..
Take the license from this site, the gut was rude and disrespectful. He called me a liar when advised the truck had not been cleaned, a water bottle came from under the seat while I was driving, someone had a dog in the truck and dog hair flew around when I opened the windows. Then the guy used the term"you people "to me. Do not, I repeat DO NOT use this place. And there was a guy walking around with his shirt off.
Was bad experience with this location the manager weird. When I Tran the car they're is weird guy ask me about the keys . He was with dirty clothes he looks homeless... was bad experience . The manager pay attention to he's dog moors then me ... thank you
Truck had dog hair and food under the seat upon pick up and I was required to put my credit card and debit card on file because my driver's licence "wasn't acceptable".
Nothing different. Everything was great and ran very smoothly. Very friendly staff!
Return phone messages left on the answering machine as I did exactly what Uhaul requested by contacting the location a few days ahead to confirm the equipment rental.

U-Haul needs to upgrade their server, took almost 30 minutes to just fill out the paper work.
