I prepaid to save time, but I was there 50 minutes and still had to answer all the questions I did online and provide my credit card. The young man was very nice, but both staff members were wearing their masks under their chins.
The staff was curtious and professional n would go to that location from now on.
Communication was geared to focus on the customer and their needs. Paying attention to the fact that moving is a stressful time and details can get missed as distractions are going to happen. Having an assistant to process a client in to toaU-Haul large truck and pointing out safety features and operating equipment is most important. Marc Kneer was excellent in public relations and most helpful.
there has been no improvement to facility in over 20 years. Same building no remodel at all
Terrible experience will never rent from Merced. I've always relied on uhaul have never had a problem. But, after this absolutely will never. I used the app. I informed the representative that it was my first time. I had scheduled an 8:30am pick up. When I arrived on time. The representative said I'm sorry but no one did the 24/7 so I'd have to wait until they opened at 9am. Then she took my phone i have her the key code she handed me the keys and I left. 40 minutes later she calls me and says you rented it for on town and I couldn't do the drop off so I had to pay extra, didn't get to move and both the manage who was off didn't help. Worst experience ever.
The person who checked my truck in was awesome! She was super friendly and kept me informed during the entire check out process!! 10/10
make sure the oil has been changed and the alert turned off. Other than that, my rental experience was great!
This was not the drop off location I had scheduled. No one was present at the scheduled drop off U-Haul location on Yosemite Parkway.
Some employees don't take care the customers no very good customer service.
Get more people to help customers. Only one person to help multiple customers. The return on the self checkout was horrible. Not able to take picture with My phone due to uhaul- did not allow me. Nothing was wrong with my camera. Took my husband over twenty minutes to figure out how to let the self checkout find his location. He had to use a different search engine for the website to allow his location.
YOU NEED MORE SERVICE PEOPLE---HAD TO WAIT 45 MINUTES TO GET MY TRUCK AND THEN FIND IT IN THE PARKING LOT.. ONLY 1 PERSON WAS WAITING ON CUSTOMERS.
The whole staff needs to be replaced. A lot of profanity was used by the staff. No leadership. Very poor service

Since many smaller U-haul centers did not have a truck available, I was so thankful when I was directed to yours. The young lady at the counter was knowledgeable, professional and especially made it a pleasant experience by her sincere desire to honestly help in every way possible. Will always appreciate this !
They need more people work in the facility
During pick up and return of the trailer, the staff was very professional and appeasing to work with. Definitely will be a returning customer.

They didn't take me to the u haul to check and see if it was clean or even to see if the gas was correct. All the guy said was here is your key and find the truck with that number.
Too much verification! She verified me by calling my cell number. She verified me by calling another number Number ( wife) or she won't be able to rent the trailer for me.

No k dan bien con las reservaciones
it wasnt just this location. i had a hard time just getting a truck and when i did the location and time to pick up truck was changed x 3. i had taken the day off and my daughter and son and law had the day off they are in the milatary so time is scarce. i had to pay a 2 way when i needed only a one way. and there was a no when asked if this could be waved, i was finally able to get a smaller truck . later then i planned and so we were not able to complete the move today. the truck was horrible. the brakes made noses. the trucked puller to one side. the passenger door did not close easliy and there was a big gap some where on top of the roof where air was coming in we could feel and made the ride bosey. the radio didnt work well, and it ran not so smooth. it felt like it was pulling.and it was a gas hog. i drove speed limit and the MPG was way in the red. MY EXSPERIENCE WITH THIS TRUCK WAS HORRIBLE. Another thing,, i repeatily was told there wereonly 10 foot trucks and i had ordered a 20 foot. so i asked for a 15 and was told over and over there was none . funny after i called coorprate there was suddenly 3. U HUAL MADE MY DAY HELL TODAY.
When I called in to extend my rental, as I had been injured by a hi lift jack blow to the head the day before, I was 2 hrs past my return time and the National person that answered the call wad extremely rude threatened to report the truck stolen upsetting me greatly I have never had an issue renting from uhaul or extending my rental till this time I could accept not being able to extend but I do not accept being threatened
