I am not so upset with the location as I am with u haul in general. The location I was to get my trailer did not have it when I arrived there. They sent me to this location and I was told over the phone by the company that I would be eligible for the $50 guaranty for not having it there when I needed it. When I went to this location I was told that I do not get it because I picked it up at this location, even thought it was now 2 hours later and I had to drive a distance to get there. Not only that but I had people waiting and one left due to the later time. I said I would file a complaint because I felt lied to and put out for the trouble I had gone thru to get the trailer. I was then told I could not rent and never would be able to rent a trailer from u haul again if I did do so. I had also called on the way back about dropping the trailer off after hours since I had no place to put it before morning. I had a lock on it and kept it on since I had the blankets in there that had come from the place and didn't want them to be stolen till I returned when they opened. When I arrived shortly after they opened I was told that they would have refunded me a days worth on money if I left the lock off. I was not told this on the phone when I called about dropping it off. Plus I was told when I rented it that the rent went from the time I rented it so the amount I was charged would have been correct. So that I didn't understand. Plus I had lost my card and had canceled it. When she decided to cancel the pending charge which the bank said would go thru and then recharge me as a new charge it would not go thru. When I arrived I explained what had happened and paid by check but she acted as if I lied and was not a very pleasant person with me. I will not be renting from this location again.

The truck I used did not shift well at all, the dashboard did not light up causing me not to be able to gauge the speed limit etc while driving after sunset. It was the worst truck I’ve ever rented from there.

The vehicle was unfit to drive it wandered all over the road. The Uhaul associate said it was ok for around town use. The wiper blades didn't work. I put 9 gallons of gas in the vehicle and went 17.5 miles,I pointed it out before leaving. The associate told me oh well. I will NEVER use this particular Uhaul again because of the way I was treated in front of customers. The associate had a bad BS attitude. I never expected this from Uhaul because I've never had a problem before. Unbelievable.

The drop off process was very disorganized and confusing. They signs outside say to wait with equipment for a representative. No one arrived in a timely manner so I went inside and was rudly told to go back outside. While inside a worker snuck outside and started to check me in without even communicating to me that he was going out to take care of me. Not sure if all U-Haul locations are this way or just this store? I'm sure it doesn't matter though because they know people need to rent moving equipment and they are pretty much the only company out there so they don't care.

For starters I drove 5 miles in Your equipment and was charged 6 dollars for fuel because the gas needle wasn’t exactly on full,needle touching full apparently that warrants a 6.00$ fuel charge,fuck off,never again!

They forgot to put in the dolly I rented, but it was taken care of at the drop off location. Truck was clean but the windshield on the inside needed cleaned. I cleaned it.

I rented a cargo van. It had 3/4 of a tank of gas. I returned it 3 hours early and with a full tank of fuel but got no discount. Early return and more fuel returned should warrant a discount

At first I was concerned because there was only one person working but to my surprise she had no problem in hooking up my 6x12 trailer and even spotted me in the first time. She was even helpful in finding a close drop off dealer. VERY HELPFUL

First, you could stop overcharging customers for mileage that was not incurred during the rental. When we took possession of the truck, we estimated 30 miles of usage; we used 32 miles. The odometer was 54,694, not 54,649. We verified that verbally with each other before leaving the lot. We kept to our agreement. We believe the mileage was incorrectly recorded on the previous rental. Second, you could fire the manager at this location, Kelly Lemmon, for her hostile, rude and obnoxious treatment of customers. When we took possession of the truck, she had an abrasive demeanor and treated us like children. She acted like she was doing us a favor. When we discussed the mileage dispute, she became more hostile and said she was going to charge our credit card regardless--no room for discussion. This led to an argument and abrupt exit by us. Third, we filed a police report with the Perry Township Police (#2018-17491) regarding the incident. We will also be filing a dispute with the credit card company. Finally, map out the following: U-Haul location to storage facility, storage facility to home, home to U-Haul location. Exact addresses: 2914 Lincoln Way E, Massillon, OH to 7558 Navarre Road, Massillon, OH to 8635 Briggle Avenue, East Sparta, OH to 2914 Lincoln Way E, Massillon, OH. Let me know if that comes up to 77 miles, I guarantee it doesn't, but that's what you ripped me off for. Also, have a gas receipt for $7.50 to bring the gas tank to full level per the agreement. I would of had to spend twice the amount for 77 miles. Will never do business with U-Haul again. I don't need to be abused by some inconsiderate, insecure individual that treats customers like crap.

Very dissatisfied with U-Haul: - Started at the Website that shows 3 dealers in Wooster - According to the website one of the locations had the trailer I was looking for - I went to the location to confirm my vehicle was adequate to pull that size trailer - The car was considered ok and I was offered if I wanted to see the trailer (which I didn't due to limited time) - A little later I receive a text that I had to pick up the trailer at a location 45 minutes away, which meant 3 hours wasted in a very busy day - I understand the website call the selected location as "preferred", but I would think that since it showed availability, I visited the place and was informed they had it, paid for the rental, had confirmation still showing my location, only to be informed later that is was not available. Not acceptable.
