This location was in poor disorganized dingy condition. I tried at 10am EST (my appointment time) to check in with the mobile app and kept sending the photo ID shot to be verified and it was not going through. Finally I went to the office and a woman in her pajamas let us in. She did not even have her computer equipment powered up. So we had to wait for her to get her crap together. I originally ordered furniture blankets and paid for them, but would not use them for fear of fleas/bed bugs. As the office was so dirty and cluttered and they all their dingy motel room sheets sloppily folded open shelves in there along with the uhaul supplies. They allow dogs in their "rooms" as there were tenants sitting outside their rooms and they had dogs with them. It was an eye opening experience. I'm quite surprised uhaul would partner with this place at all. It does not represent a quality business in any fashion. The parking lot is barely passable and riddled with potholes, loose asphalt and etc. Just wow--

Hot day, had to stand outside the office door in the path of hot air blowing out of air conditioning unit blowing right on you, the person was friendly but offered no help in hooking up the trailer, no check out procedure, and no check in procedure or help when I brought it back. No clear direction or signage on where to park, and again no help at all. The place is quite messy, and run down.

Truck broke down on roadside. Had to wait 2 hours to have truck towed to home. While waiting couldn’t get ahold of a live person to discuss issues/questions. Then truck was dropped off on side of road, had to unload items and carry items to House the length of a football field. Awful experience. Will not use U-Haul ever again.

A fairly dowdy motel, like Heb’s, would not have been my first choice to do my trailer rental from, but it worked out quite well. The proprietress was pleasant, efficient, and knowledgeable about the trailer and truck rental business, even if some of her motel customers appeared to be adult protective services cases.

Trailer did not have a jack and had to connect/disconnect trailer solo. 1800 lbs trailer needs a jack as I have military injuries on my back and having to lift a trailer with no help difficult and painful. Customer service was very poor.

First, we had to find person. Felt like a closed business instead of open. We stood in the dark in the office and were told we would not get a refund for missing blankets. Then we were confused about how to park truck and given no instructions. Person was irritable when we asked how to park and person never checked gas or mileage. We asked for paper confirmation that we did everything right and she rudely said no, we woukd get email confirmation and we should leave. It was a disconcerting interaction.

No one was there at our scheduled pick up time. There was a note on the door with a phone number to call. No one answered. I got a return call in a few minutes saying they would be there in 15 minutes. There was no heat in the office. We finally left with our truck a half hour late.

Staff was not friendly or welcoming. Acted like I was an inconvenience. Truck was full of mud and super dirty on the inside. I used Clorox wipes to clean the seats and steering wheel before I drove it. Steering was very sloppy, truck would not shift gears during acceleration, This truck needs a tune up. Back was not swept out , so I had to sweep it out before I used it. Overall experience was not good.

Self pick up didn't work spent over 40 minutes trying to get the website to work. Had to wait for the office to open. It was dirty and smelled musty. Told office personnel about the messed up self service check in to pick up the truck and it threw off our entire schedule, but no discount assistance anything. I called the 616 number, they were sorry but again nothing to compensate. Uhaul needs more competition then they may treat customers better.

It was 1st of the month it took 1hr to check in to receive truck (lady was nice) and I ordered truck at different facility. That changed my whole schedule and I had to stay in motel for safety purposes. This is the short version.
