Disorganized. The oil light and wrench (check engine?) came on within one mile of taking truck. The express check out I had done ahead of time was of no help. It took me over an hour to get the vehicle.

Make sure office is open when it is supposed to be. I went to office the day before pickup and no one would answer the locked door even though the sign in the window said it was open and their Uhaul listing said they were open. Make phone number available. I had to go thru customer service to they their phone number. Even with the phone number, the phone was not answered - customer not available. I would not go there again. Lots of stress not knowing if you would be able to get a truck when needed. Also note, even though you make a reservation for a specific truck capacity, there is no guarantee the truck type you reserved will be available. I reserved a 15' truck. The day before pickup, they told me I was getting a 10' truck with a 5' trailer. Later, after I called customer service, I ended up with a 26' truck which really increased my cost because is sucked up a lot of gas.

Had both open and closed signs on door and no instructions on what to do with the truck.

Rainbow Apartments in Marshfield, WI (return location) is extremely run down, dirty with junk and debris everywhere. Inside office was worse! Their driveway had a huge crater in it. The women running the place was very nice, pleasant and friendly.

The truck itself was fine other than someone's crumbs on the dash. The location however was the worst place to represent the Uhaul brand. The "apartments" are really like a motel. Said motel hasn't been maintained in years. Probably 20 or more. There are 2 abandoned decrepit trailer homes as well. The office is an old ladies double wide trailer. It's possible she's a hoarder. My husband didn't even want to go inside but I made him come with because we needed the truck to move my daughter and there was no way I was going in alone. The signs on the door are faded and hand written. There was a 7 foot stack of uhaul blankets by the door that was teetering on the verge of falling on the next person that walked in. There was crap everywhere that this lady was selling or just storing. We would never go there again. I can't even believe people live there or that Uhaul allows that woman to represent them. We've used Uhaul before but we've always picked up at a regular clean business.

Location is a slum. UHaul should be ashamed to put their name on this franchise.
