The 5x8 trailer bounced around very much when empty transmitting significant shocks to the trailer hitch and tow vehicle. Maybe softer trailer tires and springs would help or better balance?

Dirty truck. Picked it up and returned it under 24 hours. Nobody in the office when I returned (even though it was open, just no one physically there), so left the key in return slot. Ended up getting charged for an extra days rental and CDW. Sent email and talked to employee who said it would be reversed, but still has not a week later. Very unprofessional location.

This was a relatively new truck and in good shape so everything worked which is NOT always the case. To improve things for any customer have customer service react and communicate to negative comments about the equipment rather than staying mute!

This location only takes credit card and they don't notify you to tell you that and it's not posted on the website or anything. I was scheduled to pick up the truck for 9am and was inconvenience do to the location employees opening up at 9:15am and I was not able to get the truck until 10am.

From booking to returning the truck, everything was easy-seamless process, price as quoted, and cost efficient and better than competitors. The location is easy to get to and everything g was organized. There’s also a great furniture and rug store shared on the UHAUL property with great stuff and even greater prices (I bought two rugs).

not only was it a long time to wait for the pick up, but the engine light came on, the brakes where extremely soft and the engine light came on midway through my day. The power steering was coming and going and the vibration was horrific! i called customer service and the roadside assistance wasted 45 minutes on those calls to only be told the pick up location has to be contacted, but no one was there to answer any of my calls during regular operating hours, than in a panic to make it back and safely i dropped the truck off instead of keeping it at my location to wait over night for a service call and the location still charged me additionally to put $20 of gas i was low on. Trying to make the truck even get back without shutting it off scared to get stranded! calls have been recorded as proof of my calls. this is unacceptable as i use other locations regularily i cant believe the service i received!

Glad that the staff stayed past my 5.00 pm pick up time for me to get the vehicle. NOT HAPPY that this truck's heater fan DID NOT WORK IN -20C weather!!!!!!!!!

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced with this location. After arguing with the representative about being charged for fuel (we drove 20 kilometres in total and were charged $17 because we didn't top up an extra $2??) In total, we ended up being charged an extra $30 more the original 'estimate.' They kept going on about how the debit machine doesn't work - it worked, but we had to pay through the other company, which they would later transfer to uHaul. Sounds like a complete scam to me. It has forever ruined uHaul for me and I will never use your company again.

The equipment was clean and I appreciated the separating barrier between the cargo compartment and the driver and passenger. My only suggestion would be to make sure that the vehicle tank is full at the start, as it is easier than guessing how much fuel one as to pump prior to returning the vehicle. Fortunately I got a refund on my excess fuel. Should the need arise I would surely rent a U-Haul truck.

Lots of room for improvement not sure this box will hold all the things I wanna say right now. Let’s start wit me making a reservation for 9am which was the earliest time available n nobody showing up till 930. When they did show they could barely speak English very little communication was able to get across. Extreamly disappointed about this cause English is our language n they could barely speak it. I looked at contract now n realized that I had to bring the truck back to same location even though I had chosen a drop off 2.6km from my new house. So I had to pay Milage for close to 100 km. This is where the communication part really got to me cause she could barely understand me n viceversa. She told me best she can do is give me 20% which is not on my bill. So now I have paid help waiting at my old house still no truck lost an hour n still had to pay them of course n now I gotta drive this truck back n gotta pay for that too. Truck was not well maintained I barely made it to my new house at one point I couldn’t get it over 80 n if I slowed down it took 5 mins to accelerate to 40 km/hr n had to pull over twice waste more of my time called the dealer n no one picked up but god forbid I had to talk to rental place cause you guys don’t vet ur dealers for atleast to be able to speak English. After pulling over n letting it sit for 5-10 minutes it seemed fine again n I’m no mechanic but that’s not what I had invisioned paying for. To sum it up almost a complete nightmare. Not what I’d expect from U-Haul

The truck we borrowed was clean but it needed to be serviced. We experienced engine/transmission/loss of power issues even with an empty load which added an extra 45 minutes to our return trip. Also the tachometer and speedometer were malfunctioning. The cargo area and the cab were in excellent condition and well maintained. The engine and transmission were not.

The lady at the tow dolly location was pleasant and helpful although the location was weird (a furniture store). The tow dolly arranged by head office was NOT recommended for my vehicle as the wheelbase of my vehicle overhung the dolly by about 2" on both sides. I was concerned the whole trip that there wold be complications however I made it safely
