Have better communication via phone or any other method, and have proper computer system set up/information between the location and UHaul. Wasted so much time because we had to go back and forth with a UHaul rep on the phone and wait time on hold to get things UHaul promised (rate, # of km, etc.) to show up properly on the system of this location. Not the location’s fault!

Everything was great until the return. The employee did not want to go check the car with me. I told him to call upon charging my card. Luckily, I am notified when my card is charged and I was charged $100 more than I should have been. When he called, he tried to tell me I drove 400 km (I knew I drove just under 70km). When trying to explain myself he told me to relax and said he'd deal with it and rudely hung up. He did refund the money but an hour later, and I had to check myself as he never told me. Very disappointed in this location.

The customer service was poor. The truck was not well maintained at all (warning lights on dash, difficulty starting it up each time). It was a major headache I would likely go with a competitor next time.

I will absolutely not be using this location again. The contract stated fuel was at 3/8, but was actually at 1/4. I advised the associate of this, as well as the fact the check engine light was on, and the airbag sensor was continually. I expressed my concern and the associate stated she would make a not of all three issues. I have just received my bill and have been charged for the re-fueling, as well as additional fuel to bring the tank up to 3/8, which is more than what I picked it up at! I will be disputing these charges and could not be more disappointed with this location and in U-Haul for allowing such a disorganized facility to promote your products. If we are there to pick up a rental at a certain time, we would expect it to be ready for pick up at the specified time. Especially since we requested express pick up. In addition to the truck not being ready at the time we requested, we were still asked to bring back the truck at the closing time, even though we now have less time with the truck. The truck was not checked prior to our arrival and was done during our time. Additionally, there was almost no gas left in the truck- this was extra time wasted for someone who was on a tight schedule.

We had a dispute over the amount of fuel in the vehicle. I was treated very poorly and the employees were basically trying to steal money from me. Fortunately I had before and after photos of the fuel gauges, plate, and VIN number to ensure they were lying which caused them to back off from scamming me for more money on the rental. They were also unable to explain the insurance options to me.

They ripped me off by charging me for gas when it was at the level that I had left it off. I trusted the person by not going back to the truck but they took advantage of me. I would never rent from there again and doubt that I would use uhaul ever because of this. Very disappointed.

The only negative and probably the reason why I would never go back is that the staff at the counter were all speaking Chinese around me despite the fact that I clearly could not understand. It made me feel very uncomfortable and just simply bad manners.

They charged me $20 because I didn't fold the blankets, and put them in their bag, even if they didn't mentioned this aspect when we took the equipment. I will dispute the charge. They should be more attentive with the U-Haul customers.

The online reservation system was confusing as was the millage rate. The web site did not show the number of "included" km. It showed .59 / km but once i got the quote back it was .20. Also, I tried to reserve from one location but it changed it to another one and a different time. Your site should be easier to use and more intuitive.

I rented today April 15, 2017 a 10' truck that in my opinion was not road worthy. It had a noticeable pulsation when you apply brakes, water was running on the INSIDE of the windshield and of course the wipers couldn't wipe on the inside. Check engine light was on!!! The truck number was TM 1292B Licence plate was AD67266. I don't know how any company have the nerve to charge a customer while putting him at risk driving a non road worthy truck. I will welcome the U Haul Technical or Maintenance director to contact me if he has any questions. My contract number was 25683795.

The people were slow it rock more than 30 min to check out the truck. The system to pay online was down. So they charge the total amount with a debit card machine. They told me I could claim my deposit back at the drop off location and when I got there they told me the head office will handle it. I called costumer service and at first they didn't now what to do. After they told me a cheque will be issued and sent to my mail box in 3-4 business day.... let's wait and see. My experiences with uhaul had been great until this one, really disappointed.

Person at the counter was answering the phone to sell tiers on the phone, then selling tiers to people in the store, and did not care to assist the uhaul side of her business. Waited 30 min for her to even look at me. Only had one person working there. Also charged me for gas I did not use. Very bad experience.

No one told me how to return the vehicle and where to put the key back when I got the vehicle. So when I dropped the key inside the vehicle, as I did in other location, they said they would charge me for getting the key from the vehicle. The vehicle was dirty.

Clean yes maintained no. Average location no other trucks to choose from in case of a change of mind. Ended up having to make two trips. Advisor could have suggested bigger truck. Indifferent to Location, too busy with their tire business. Just a good point to pick up and drop off truck nothing else. Uhaul advisors should always tell customers to consider size very closely as people regularly end up with a truck that is too small to meet their needs.

I am angry and completely angry over our treatment of this rental. I pre booked the truck on Friday evening as we were cleaning out my best friends father's apt. who passed away last week, we were supposed to meet his widow as 2:00 pm Saturday at apartment. I was told by booking agent to check my email or expect a phone call for conformation of the truck, and if necessary a different pick up location then preferred on Warden. I was also told the rental fee for the truck and dolly when booking it on Friday night was 102.00 taxes in. Hearing nothing last night or today we proceeded to the Warden Ave. location and when I got there at 1:30 pm to pick up truck, I was informed that our truck was reserved at a location in Markham Ont. I was very upset because this location on Warden was only 12 min. to the deceased apartment. I tried to get my request filled here but, was told she had no one way trucks, and every thing else was booked. She said to proceed to Markham location to get truck. so I immediately called and I spoke with head office to see if there was another Uhaul closer. Again they told me the same thing no closer locations regarding my rental so go to Markham and provided me with directions . Desperately needing the truck we proceeded to pick up the truck at the following location which turned out to be tire changing place. Arriving at 2:10 pm . Now this drive took us a half our out of our way, and when we got there ,we waited another half hour for service as they were servicing people for tires and service was extremely slow. Now it is 2:40 Pm when we finally got to the counter. Now neither attendant spoke or understood English very well, the girl serving me had to keep asking for assistance to process the order on computer,from Co worker. I complained about timing ,they just kept saying complaint call head office. Now then attendant tells me there was no dolly showing on booking order and proceeded to says it was 10.00 extra. She now says there was GST also to be charged so total was 115.26,plus system says collect 100.00 security deposit also. I TOLD HER THAT WAS NOT THE QUOTED PRICE AND NOT SURE WHY ORDER DIDNT SHOW DOLLY AS QUOTED PRICE INCLUDED TRUCK AND DOLLY and taxes and and no security deposit. Frustrated and so late we said fine process it and we will deal with it later. She continued on ,and she had now tried to 3-4 times to process the 115.26,but was having trouble processing our Visa debit. We used a different card she just kept telling us it was an issue with the cards. She now says she needs to call for help regarding Security deposit ,she had no idea why system was requesting it. So she calls and processing dept. could not process payments , so she now asks for another method of payment so we had 115.26 in cash. I'm extremely Frustrated so I again complained and she kept saying if u have complaint call head office. We both new there was no issue with our cards, and said maybe your system ,but they kept argui
