Rude staff including the manager Indiro, make false promises. kind of tricking customers. She offered discount when another uhaul agency in Toronto offered additional discount and service. She told 17 ft will not be available but once Toronto agnecy promised to provide she pulled the order from them and provided us 17 ft which was an old trurck, very uncomfortable to travel long, AC was not working proper, door was not closing properly. All in All this place is a bad mark on Uhaul. Did not provided hard copy of the contract and intentional recorded wrong miles offered. As a result when we wanted to return we were asked to pay extra. In order to fix the wrong entry we had to call them from California and almost begged to fix the wrong mileage limit entered On the day of departure when I asked about the undue charges the manager threatened to cancel the order. She know we had no choice and pushed us as much as she could. i tried to call the higher mangers in Uhaul to complain but could not find any way.. Please take necessary action against such a ruthless treatment.

I would not recommend this location as the pick up key option is too far from the lot and very confusing. Also, the pickup key location is blocked off by a chain and a truck outside of business hours, making it more confusing.

I arrived at 9:30AM on Monday morning to find the office closed. Their hours of operation start at 10. This seems a little late. I dropped off the rental and put the agreement in the overnight box. I received confirmation of rental return by email at 10:30. This is good.

We were over billed for mileage by almost triple. We did a short move and used at the most 32 miles (51 km). We were billed for 90 miles (144 km). Either the mileage was recorded wrong or the speedometer is set up to rip off customers. Don’t be tricked by how easy it is to check in and check out - make sure you see your bill and don’t just have it emailed.

The customer service attendant was absolutely rude. She also refused to buy back the empty boxes I purchased. The boxes werent a big deal, who cares about $20. Her attitude made it hard to do business. I’m very unsatisfied.

The truck was not an easy vehicle to drive. Perhaps that's a function of age and usage. I think that, if the customer brings the vehicle back with more gas than was required, they should get some credit for that.

This dealer was not able to secure original rental viehicle or the pick up time. Another size truck was secured but again were unable to secure it. Uhaul needs to better communicate with its dealers on the securing of the reserved vehicles. The uhaul trouble shooting was good but in the end still fell short. I was also charged for fuel even though the truck was at its pick up level. Not a good experience.

The trailer was in good condition but the previous renter had used it to get rid of tree branches and the trailer could have used a cleaning. The location does not provide assistance to hook up the trailer. Not a problem for me I have rented trailers from you several times but someone that has not could do it incorrectly. The location does not open until 10 am so getting an early start is not an option. It would be nice if you had a location in the east end of Markham that rented trailers

Very poor service and felt cheated by uhaul and franchise as well. I rented a cube van to use for 40 Kms. And filled up gas about 15 litre. However, I went to drop off the vehicle and found for matter off may be guage is .001% less on a dash board. And they refuse that, I should have to fill up more gas else they will charge me $12. So I called customer service and found they are very rude and also wants me to follow the gauge on to the dash rather then how many Kms I drove vs. How much gas I fillled up. So over all I paid extra 50 cents per kms on top of their per km charge. when I asked to the customer service about the mileage of the vehicle and I explained the kms I drove, still they were not agree. So is it possible that, cube can only give 3 kms/litre? Also they were making story that may be heavy load make the difference but, I had worth about less then 200 pound items were in the van. Which is technically 3 persons are going in the vehicle. And franchise lady, was so stubborn that, don’t want to understand the situation. Also it wasted almost 2 hours to just return the vehicle. I rather prefer to go over hom depot van as I have an assurance that, I can be opt out from this scam and cheat. I am also writing a letter to u haul higher authority not just to get the money refund but to show him his lemon policy. Not worth to try this location and u haul customer service as they don’t care about the customer.

booked and pre-check-in ahead for 1030am. arrived at 1040am. staff was not aware of booking, truck was not ready. key received at 1105am, no ID was asked to show, i offered to accompany for the inspection/circle check and was rejected, pieces of broken glass in the cargo area, engine light is on. that's about it
