Extremely "filthy" truck, my wife wouldn't even ride in it. Overall a very dirty facility. Error on my initial check in, the wrong truck info billed to me. No appliance dolly as ordered a week ahead with reservation. Mileage costs are to great. Paid $1.19 miles

Charged me $30.00 cleaning fee when my guys cleaned storage area. Had them go back to motel and check and make sure it was clean and did clean up maybe 1/2 a dust pan full of insulation. Please have area supervisor Joe Smothers contact me

The equipment was maintained well but the inside of the trailer was very dirty with dried cardboard stuck to the floor and had a horrible smell inside. The location was fine and the staff very nice.

Couldn’t adjust the mirror, window handle end was broken so it was very hard to roll down mirror to look out to see. Upon return the associate was very rude about coming about to check the truck & snapped at me when I explained I was exhausted from moving & didn’t have time to get gas. He acted as if I was stealing from him although I had a time limit to get the truck back and I’m a single mother with a chronic pain condition and auto immune disorder. Also I needed info on the 6 digit code for the movers to get paid and he was like I don’t know you should know that that’s your responsibility I guess you will have to call the number try calling Uhaul.

My account was charged the wrong amount the first time, then money put back into my account, then taken out in a different amount again and I had to borrow money so I wouldn't overdraw my account. The least they could've done was call me or email me to let me know???!!!!

Equipment was damaged on all sides of exterior. I received a text message indicating that there would be pictures for my records, however, when I clicked on the link, the pictures were not there. I called the store and the man replied, "Well, we have pictures so that's all you need." NO, that is not all I need. As a customer, I too want either pictures or a paper copy of damages upon check out as has been provided in the past, so that upon return, I have evidence that the damage on the truck were not caused by me. Upon checking the vehicle back in, we returned it after 28 hours of use rather than the 48 we originally booked for, but were charged the entire 48. I believe I saw online that you can also select 36 hours as an option, and since it was returned so early, I'm wondering why we weren't billed for less than 48, but again, when we called the store, we were not given a reasonable explanation. We (Ron and Kristi Annegers) have rented from U Haul multiple times, and have another reservation for this coming Friday. We are disappointed that this is the way repeat customers are treated. Finally, we had to drive to Marion rather than Carbondale to pick this vehicle up which of course added significantly to the mileage we had to pay, and that wasn't ideal, however, what really made the experience worse was the fact that it was in a very shady location that looked like a crack hotel with various people standing around outside smoking and old furniture/mattresses laying around. Not exactly a stellar location. Overall, this was definitely our worst experience with a U Haul dealer ever. If we are in a position to rent again, and the only option is to go to Marion, we'll take a pass.

Mark Richey was asked a simple question about my bill he responded. “Can you not fucking read? It’s simple fucking math even though I was overcharged. If this is the case for uhaul then me and my family whom have always used you will be removing our business with you and making sure it’s wide spread on social media. I expect a action to be taken.

Customer service could use some improvement. When I can in to drop the uhal off the first thing the employee said was what do you need. Not a very welcoming greeting. Asked me if I wanted a paper copy or email of the receipt. Then told me I was go to go. Seemed a little irritated that I wanted to know the final cost before leaving. I wouldn’t say mean but not very friendly. I had no issues with the Uhal itself. There were a lot of dead bugs in the back.
