It’s better just to call and rent. I thought the online process would be easier but it took so long and was so difficult to work. I checked in late because my phone died. You shouldn’t have to check in for the return and then it charged me twice as well.

They guys are very accommodating!! When another company messed up my reservation these guys jumped in, got me in a truck super fast and I was able to stay on schedule. Very thorough, polite and fast when I needed in and out. You really cant do a better job than they do!!!!

Update your website....it stinks. It said the truck was available at my chosen location, then after I made the reservation, then I'm told by scheduling, that it is not. They also had my pick up location different than what I selected. ..in another city, 100 miles away. The people at my location were friendly and knowledgeable. No complaints about the pick up site.

Attempted to check in my rental when I was finished. Site was down for maintenance. Called 800 number and operator was unable to assist, suggested to take back home with me, and accrue MORE miles on truck which I had already underestimated distance for. Left work at 8am to try to check in, told dealer my issue and he was kind enough to check it in for me, thank you Southside Auto for saving me money!!

The building was dirty and unorganized. The people that were running the place were very unfriendly almost trying to be intimating. They pointed out to me all of the dings on the truck they had marked out with an x with a O around it. They told me that they would be checking over the truck very carefully after I returned. I felt very uncomfortable the hole time until I returned the truck and left. This is the first time that I have ever felt like that when I have rented a U haul. That is the only truck that I rent when I do rent. Thank You for your time Sincerely Dissatisfied customer.

Some of the employees were a bit gruff but overall straight to the point. I had never rented a U-Haul before and was unsure of much of the process, the owner and employees did not explain the process and got somewhat snippy with me.

I would really like to see that schedules are maintained. I selected a 10' truck for my reservation, but when I arrived to pick up I found out that the previous renters had maintained/extended their reservation which left me without my selected truck. I was lucky that the dealer had a separate (but bigger) truck for me to use, however this did cost me a bit more money given the bigger truck I had to use. Overall the staff were really helpful and managed to get me going.

This is the first time someone has helped us set the mirrors and made sure we knew how everything worked - it wasn't entirely necessary because we've used Uhaul trucks before, but it was really nice!
