I think the rate per mile is a little high. Also on the trucks if you had a indicator line as to which line the fuel needed to be at return that would help.

Not fault of location, truck was rather old, uncomfortable, and not very spacious in the cab. If i had been doing a long haul or cross country move I would not have wanted to drive that truck.

I ordered 2 trailers a week in advance, but the dealers did not have them for me, and expected me to drive almost an hour each way to pick up the other trailer because they did not have the equipment that I requested well in advance. This costed me dearly in time, as I left much later than planned, and value, because I had to dispose of a lot of my personal belongings due to the fact that I didn’t have enough room to haul it. I was, and still am extremely dissatisfied with the service that I received from U-haul, and I will likely never use your services again in the future.

The personal attention, helpfulness, and professionalism at this location (432 Oakland Street, Manchester, CT) is and always has been (for the last 5 years since I started using UHauls for work) FANTASTIC! Above reproach, and I would recommend them to anyone. HOWEVER.... whenever I need to call UHaul , service is always long and stressfull. The people are polite and professional, but I need info from the location and I get routed to AZ, and then told I need to "talk to corporate" or "I can't see the info you need on my computer", or "let me IM the location". and then I STILL don't get the answers I need. SO... in person is GREAT (and phone calls when the location actually picks up) , but telephone service needs TONS of improvemnts!!!!!!

My experience was terrible from the beginning I reserve my truck to a different closer location they told me they didn’t have any truck I have to drive 25 miles to pick up in other location wasting time and miles , they told me I could stay with the truck until 2 pm the next day and then they were calling and harassing me since 9am to return it. Employees at this particular location were rude and not helpful at all will never used them again .

I’d like to say I have been doubt business with uhual for the past several years. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with uhual and encourages my clients to utilize uhual products and services. I reserved my truck in Hartford for a local Hartford move. My reservation was confirmed for a 10am pick up, then I get a email saying I have to pick my truck up in Manchester, which added extra Milage to my move. I brought this issue up to the site manager and was referred to you guys reservation dept. after 3 or 4 call to the site and reservation dept I was told my rates or Milage can’t be compt because I already left the location. My business was inconvenience due to you reservation issues cause by you guys reservations dept. I ended up paying $30 overage for Milage. I very upset that your reservation dept didn’t resolve this issue for me because the correct way to handle my situation was to compt my Milage. I think king of opening a business account Penske since I’m not able to open a business account with Uhaul.

I am a little disappointed I was charged from the location to my apartment, this can be fixed by not including mileage to your apartment, driving an empty truck. This was something like 40 miles which would’ve made a big difference in price for us. Price was very expensive and not what we expected for a second day charge
