I had a reservation to pick up the auto hauler on Saturday evening so I could leave early Sunday morning. I had a 4 hour round trip ahead of me to pick up a vehicle. The owner was obviously poorly trained and could not get my information in the computer correctly. He called a U-Haul representative 3 different times, and they even had a hard time understanding what he was asking, due to his strong middle eastern accent. At one point, he even asked me to speak to them on the phone, and had me behind the counter trying to figure out how to put the correct information in the computer. After over an hour of countless tries, he gave up and asked me to return the next morning. I gave up on this, and decided to get a one way trip out of the city I was picking up the vehicle. Whenever I called U-Haul to locate an auto hauler there, and found out the rate, I ended up returning to the store in Macon GA. So, after already a 45 minute trip out of Macon, I returned an hour and a half later to pick up the hauler. I explained to the representative on the phone what had happened, she entered all of the correct data for me. Since all of my information was correct, I picked up the hauler and was on my way. The experience was extremely frustrating, and exhausting. I'm working away from home 6-7 days a week. Therefore, my time is limited and very valuable to me. I had used U-Haul previously, and my experience then was easy and painless. Not the case this time around.

I made reservations on February 27, 2018 for a truck and and a hand-truck in a nearby location of my departure to my also nearby destination. The reservations where scheduled to pickup your equipment at The Store House Riverside on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 4:45 PM for 7 hours . I arrived at the reserved location only to find out that my truck has been moved several miles from my original location. In fact it was not even in Macon the city I reserved my truck in. Once I got my truck a later find that the hand-truck i payed for was not available. I’ve received a phone call today March 1, 2018 that my case has been “noted and filed “ but no refund of of the service I was not given and no explanation or refund of the miles i was charged for a truck that was in a location I didn’t reserve.
