They said the working hours listed on Uhaul were not correct. Luckily, I knew how to hook a trailer up and the transaction proceeded remotely. Also, one of the turn signals on the tow dolly went out half way across the country. It's a sealed unit so I couldn't change the bulb.Ronnie W.

Was supposed to do in person check in. Door was locked with nobody there. Called number and had to do remote check in through the phone. There were no moving blankets or utility dolly in the truck like we had ordered.Ricky D.

I was told that it would cost 131. For the time i use truck. With 150 miles. Gas was at 281 miles i put it back to 301. And only went 7 miles over. And was charged an extra 70.00. I will probably not use Uhaul againTONYLEE M.

The online return process did not work. Very frustrating. I did not go into the facility so I can't say whether it was "clean and inviting". However, the lot at the front of the drop off location was very small and full of vehicles. There was no place for me to really park the return truck. I had to move a tow trailer in the lot to be able to make room to park the truck. Due to the online return not working I ended up just dropping the keys in the drop box and calling the location the next day to confirm the return. The representative was very helpful with the return.Travis W.
Not sure that maintenance was done on this unit. The truck had a broken arm rest on the drivers seat, which made my 900 mile journey uncomfortable and the passenger air vent was broken and would not close. As a suggestion, you should have power seats on the drivers side, so the seating position would fit ALL drivers. I have a bad hip and driving was very uncomfortable. Also the vehicle transport trailer I rented, was filthy dirty and should have been power sprayed before I rented it. It was too short and my truck barely fit on the back, with 2â€ to spare. I complained about this, but it fell on deaf ears. I have pictures to show regarding this issue.Robert S.

The rental process was confusing. I tried to rent the trailer for several days inline but was unable to. When I spoke to an agent, he said that I could rent it (really keep it) as long as I wanted to even though I only wanted it for 5 days. Then I got called on day 3 asking where the trailer was. I explained and was told that I could keep it until the 5th day. Not sure what happened but, it was unclear how to reserve the trailed for multiple days.Richard H.

This was my worst experience renting from U-Haul. 1st Choice Recovery did their part to fix the damage control done by that other U-Haul dealer located at 1079 US-211, Luray, Va. This is not my 1st time renting from U-Haul. I have been renting from U-Haul for the last 25 years. Just last year or so I rented trucks from this same location twice. But this time it was downright rude and unethical treatment i got from this guy..Even in the past when I rented from him, he would make us wait outside and do not let come in the office, but I did not mind that, But this time he said ok you can have that truck over there and self check out. We did that and we got into the truck and were coming out of the parking lot ready to make a turn onto 211 when he stopped us from the side and said Park it back you can not have this truck. It is already reserved for some one else. He also said next time just rent it from me. Now why would I come here when I have a location next door. This guy has no customer Manners. I had this other person with me who was going to drive the truck for me to Harrisonburg. He was taken aback when he saw his rudeness. I had to pay him for his time and asked him to come in the morning. Not having that truck that night caused me some delays for my guys working in a house waiting for flooring. I think that was a very bad business practice I have ever seen. I am a business man myself. I have more than one business, but all my customers come first and treated with respect .
