Please fix the online reservation system. I called the local number and got a call center, went through a dozen questions just to find out if they had the trailer I needed. Many more questions before I was asked for a credit card to hold the trailer. The call had taken so long that by that time I was pulling into the lot. The lady on the phone said she had saved my reservation so I could just walk in and pay. When I got inside there was no reservation in the system, so we had to go through it all again. I understand using a phone number or email address to identify a customer, but each time I rent I'm asked for both, and my cell, and my address, and my vehicle info. Where does all of that info go when it's entered?

There was a truck on site that was the size I wanted to rent. They couldn't find the keys so I had to rent a larger, more expensive truck. Ridiculous. Bait and switch.

Uhaul's online system seems to be very difficult for employees to navigate. With a reservation made, ID and payment in hand, and the equipment ready and available, it can still take 10-15 minutes to get out the door (not just this visit). The employees are all very personable and good to deal with, but the technology spoils the experience.

The u haul employee should have made clear that it hourly rental 48 hours not 2 days. Frustrated that I was charged another $40 because It took 40 hour. Way before the 2nd day shift was over... Not happy !!!

The hours were posted until 5pm on Saturday. The weather was terrible & we arrived to drop off at 4:45. Nobody was there & the gate area was blocked by another trailer that had been dropped off. No choice but to leave it where we could. We did not leave our only copy of the contract in the box. We were called on Monday morning & told that the blankets hadn’t been folded & that we would be charged $25 for that! Had there been someone there when we dropped it off - it would have been inspected & done. Overall not a good experience & also WAY too expensive for a trailer rental. A full sized truck we rented a few months ago didn’t cost much more. In the future I will look into other rental companies.

Tried to turn my truck in using my smart phone. Could not get past the "share my location" page. Had to go into the business the next day at 2:30 pm because the business was closed on the day I returned the truck. I was told my truck had not been processed yet. When I received the e-mail later in the day confirming my truck had been turned in it showed the return date one full day later than the actual date I returned the truck.

The tires on the truck I rented had very little traction left, the tires very bald. I was getting stuck in about 1 to 2 inches of snow. The overall experience with the truck was good other than the tires. I got stuck in it three times including at the gas station when I refilled it with gas.

Steve or whoever has no customer service experience whatsoever. Not willing to work with helping a first timer trailer renter. I wouldn't recommend that place to anyone unless you have experience hauling a trailer.

That was a heavy trailer, and I've had lower back issues. Having learned from picking it up I brought a lever to assist in raising the trailer high enough to get it off the ball of my Yukon. which was carrying the tongue fairly high. Complicating this was the fact that the grade along the fence line where the trailers are kept is sloped toward the vehicles. I recognized that so I found some items to block the tires. The blocks worked as the trailer immediately moved toward my vehicle bumper once I had leveraged it off the ball stopping slightly over 1" away from ramming my bumper.., thankfully. Perhaps a different location to leave the trailers or some grading work is in order. All and all, I wouldn't hesitate to repeat the experience, I'd just bring blocks and a jack..., but I'd think the Uhaul dealers would be aware of these type issues. Thanks.!

The next time you provide a quote via the net. List all costs to rent it, not just the entry cost. I ended up paying 28% to drive off the lot .Not Happy!; plus when applying the brakes the tow unit pulled hard to the left. Very dangerous. I am skilled at driving trucks with trailers, so I was able to counteract the pull. Someone less experienced would have had a major accident. I will shop all Car-hauler dealers for my next rental. I feel some compensation should be given. Thank you William B Burke PS After I disconnected the car-hauler, I panic stopped my truck to assure me it wasn't my truck. It stopped in a straight line. I had a complete brake job done on the tow vehicle by a professional shop in Prescott (Jim's Alignment, Daryl, the owner did the work.
