Tried to call and confirm my reservation three times and the person who could do that was never available. When I went to pick up they were blaming me for not doing so. The trailer was filthy in the exterior but functional.

Those hidden fees were truly bonkers! The final cost of the rental doubled after they applied the hidden fees! And they were sort of unhelpful and unprofessional also.

Well, I was going to take my horrible experience in stride and not leave feedback at all, because in today's world negative feedback can have a severe impact on a business. However I keep getting requests for feedback so here we are. My experience with U-Haul was a phenomenal failure on the side of user experience. I scheduled a pickup at 1am since U-Haul advertised 24/7 pickup and drop-off. My pickup time was changed to 9am without notice and I rode my bike into a bad area of town at 1am 5 miles from home just to find out I wouldn't be able to pick up my equipment after waiting almost 10 minutes on hold. 9am pickup time plus 5 hours loading and 3 hours unloading at the location 5 hours away, plus the drive home. Uhaul's mistake made my 12 hour day into a 20 hour day. Finally, after I had unloaded, I took my equipment rental to the nearest Uhaul location and sure enough, I couldn't return it there until I spent another 10 to 15 minutes on hold with customer service before a representative allocated that location as my drop off point (my destination was known, so why this wasn't already done I have no idea.) then using the app, it tells me to photograph the odometer and fuel guage which I do. Immediately the app tells me to submit a more recent photo. More recent than literally just now taken? Yes apparently they wanted more recent than live in real time. I was fed up with the service and while on the phone with the customer service rep, I told him I would park the car in the back, drop the keys in the slot, and leave the truck as is. They could check it in the morning because I followed all of the rules, did everything according to the agreement, and still was forced to call customer service on both ends and alter my schedule to an extraordinary degree. My experience was horrible and I will not use Uhaul again unless they demonstrate a massive overhaul of their app and offer some kind of apology for the stress I was put through for their error.

When I pick up the van that had no gas in it. I had limited amount of time to use the van to pick up the things I needed that afternoon so having to stop and get gas before I did anything else was quite frustrating. The woman who assisted me was upfront that the dial on the Heating and Air conditioning was broken but it was a little frustrating cuz the next day it snowed and I couldn't turn up the heat to defrost the windshield.

I had a conformation # and I called twice prior to picking up and left my ph # when I got there at agreed time was told my truck was not there they said they called and no answer the # they called was no where close to mine the truck smelled of cigarettes and I had to take a smaller truck the attendant said she hated uhaul and that they always messed up everything. Not good.

Trailer sizing not quite accurate. Was listed as 5 foot 4 inside height but couldnt stand a 5 foot cabinet upright in it. No other issues though!

Service was quick and easy, and I would like to give a great review. My only problem was that the windshield wiper on the driver's side did not work, and since it was raining It was seriously dangerous. I could not see the road. Everything else about the equipment was fine and seemed in working order.

I would recommend the location if it wasn't uhaul. I had a terrible experience and I couldn't believe it as I have used uhaul for my last 3 moves. I reserved my 15' truck on 2/25/2018 at the Broadway station. on Tuesday, the 2/27/2018, I got a call I had to pick up my truck on Brownsboro rd. So the day before I was to pick up my truck, I called Brownsboro rd and they said no, you have to pick it up at Portland Ave. I called Portland Ave and they said no , we have no truck for you. So it continued until I was told I may have to wait until the next day to move. They finally found me a truck but it delayed my move until about 4 hours late and that was no fun ending up at 9 0'clock. Uhaul wants to give me $50 but I still don't have it and they should have given me the truck free also.

The past two times I have rented a truck there they have charged me for gas and the truck came back with the same amount it left with. This most recent rental we drove the truck 10 miles TOTAL and they charged me $16 in gas.
