Uhaul needs to do some work on their on line and mobile apps to make them more intuitive and interoperable. Some people prefer computer at home to mobile. However, there are intelligent ways to make it easy for mobile. Get insight from professional UI/UX designer and fix it up!Jerry V.

I had to speak to 3 different people before my reservation was sorted out. The first person booked me for pick up near me between 4&7pm. Then when I registered online it said 7am. I called back and had it sorted out to 7pm. Then another person called to say I needed to be at a different location all together. That location was after hours and the process to rent via smart phone was fraught. Each time I called I either waited too long on hold or I didn't reach anyoneLaura D.

The truck was old and not clean. We reserved an equipment dolly and it was not available at the location. Agent said that it is a small location and so does not carry many such add ons. She offered me a regular dolly but that would not work for my needs. She directed me to a larger U-Haul location to pick up the equipment dolly. That manager apologized for the hassle and said that I am not the first person to end up at his place. ANNOYING that I had to spend time and mileage to accomplish this when I had a reservation!! He was very kind and said that the original location should credit back the cost. I asked about that when we returned the truck and she agreed to the measly $7 credit. THE LEAST that could be done, in my opinion, since I had a reservation and therefore an expectation that everything would be prepared. VERY frustrating!Michael R.
I used U-Haul several times in NC and CA since 2017 and this has been the worst experience so far. 1. There was noone in the office when I came in. I had to call the number written in the door 3 times and got no response. When I was about to leave after 5 mins of waiting, i was lucky to spot the officer who ultimately served me. 2. The car was not clean. Windows were dirty. There was a Starbucks coffee cup left in the cup holder. There were also some cardboard boxes in the cabin left. 3. I did not notice in the beginning that the fuel tank record was in fact 5/8 not 3/4 as was indicated on my contract. At return, I told the officer that the initial fuel record was incorrect. When I found the receipt, I was surprised that I was charged 3 gallons. Not only I was not believed that the initial record was incorrect, but I was also charged as if the final record was 5/8 - I believe it was higher than 5/8 and now I wish I had taken an image to prove that. (I did fuel the tank with 1.5 gallons using the suggested scale before returning it). Overall, I am disappointed with the service at this location and will not recommend it to anyone.KIRILL B.

Yolanda was such an angel. After having my reservation moved multiple times to different cities due to no trucks available and various other issues, she was super nice and helpful when I arrived to pick up the truck. She was able to apply the credit from my previous reservation and provided more miles for me to drive back to where my original reservation and loading site (65 miles away and 5 hours later).
