Not currently very happy with this experience. I believe I'm being overcharged. After drop-off, I was emailed an image with a lower "marker" on the gas gauge than I returned it. I've phoned in a complaint and am waiting for a call back from management to clarify.

I had to go to this location by accident. The National Smog was not open and they wouldn't open it up to me. I called the number and he said "sorry" Awful customer service aside from National Blvd Storage.

The receptionist couldn't figure out how to approve the cost from the website. Tried to overcharge me (by an extra $20/day).

UHaul rental was set to be returned after midnight. Turned out that the location didn't accept 24 hr returns but the staff didn't tell me and UHaul.com didn't either, yet it allowed me and told me I mobile return anytime. I called UHaul and the rep was unresponsive. He was silent to most of my questions. I had to ask multiple times for him to just tell me that he's not going to do anything for me. I had to try to run to Marina del Rey UHaul to return the truck instead, but that location refused to accept because they run their own fleet. I had to find parking for my UHaul and then return it in the morning, paying extra mileage. Seems like a common problem, considering everybody else waiting at the gate with me in the morning. I've never a good experience with UHaul, mostly due to locations not meeting their truck guarantees and never honoring the $50 compensation, but this was the worst experience I've ever had.

Received truck with 1/2 tank. Returned it with 3/4 tank, yet you charged me $0.44 for a mile over allocation? Returned truck 1 day prior to allowance. Pinch-a-penny?

The parking situation was the reason for the lower location rating. No on-site parking and surrounded by streets with serious parking restrictions and heavy multifamily and commercial uses. The corporate and customer service people were great, although I experienced the problems from Hell -- they worked hard to try to solve the ongoing problems. This has been my bad luck week and when I have a bad luck week or month, I only survive because other people go out of their way to help. Everyone did. The parking issue was part of the bad luck--they changed my reservation which resulted in horrible streets and lack of parking, but nice helpful people, including an agent that drove me to my car on her lunch hour because I left the van keys in it.

THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS. I just got off the phone with customer service who were very helpful to refund the fraudulent charges to my credit card. Looking forward to hearing from the local field manager after they investigate this place for all of their fraudulent activity. I have rented from U-haul for years in LA and have NEVER had a problem. Stay away from this location. Some employees are going to be walking out of there in handcuffs. They bill you the NEXT DAY for extra rental fees that you did not incur.

I used self check out, so the only thing I needed from the staff was the keys as I did their entire job by myself online. She couldn't find my reservation and said my truck wasn't here. I told her I just completed the check in process and gave her the truck number and reservation multiple times. Totally inept.

I ordered moving blankets online and they were not in the U-Haul van I rented. I only noticed after I drove away. When I returned to pick them up, the manager said they would deduct the cost of the miles for me having to come back to get the blankets. I forgot to look over the receipt until I went home and noticed that had not happened. It was only a few dollars - but it felt a little dishonest to put that cost on me.

It’s not the location, it’s the company. The hidden/ added fees are horrible. 19.95 my ass 130+ to move 9 miles. Never going to rent from U-haul again. I would rather walk with a shopping cart full of my belongings.

Actually just wanted to say how easy this was! The woman who helped me check in for my van (and I purchased a few boxes and tape) was so pleasant and helpful. She really made it easy and that’s so appreciated when you are in the middle of moving and all the stress from that. Drop off was just as easy. The man who checked me in ... same thing! This is a great location!

The location I originally choose to pick up the van was closed when I arrived at 11am. I called the number provided on the app and there was no answer, after 20 mins I called U-Haul who after on hold for 10 min referred me to the 2nd location. When I arrived there no one was at the counter to assist me. The employee was hanging in the van on the phone talking. I had to flag him to assist me at the counter.
