None needed very friendly & helpful!!
I was charged for extra mileage. The beginning mileage was not correct. I took a picture of the starting mileage, but when I was emailed the receipt, the mileage that was put on there was 53 miles more than what I drove the vehicle.
The lockbox is not clearly identifiable. Once we did find it, all it was, was dropping a key behind a glass door. It did not seem all that secure. Anyone could easily break the glass, grab the key and steal a van.
This is a neighborhood location where the owner/manager took care of me himself and was extremely nice and helpful. I have rented here many times and will continue to do so.
I went to pick up my truck but it was not ready for pick up. So I had to wait a while. Would have been nice to be able to just walk in and get the key and be able to drive off. The cabin of the truck had sand on the floor bed.
Cubby Hole was my make up location since my reservation was at White Oak Muffler & Brake which was closed when I arrived to pick up my confirmed rental. I called the 1800 number and the agent there was very helpful in finding me another trailer, though 17 miles farther away.
Greeted with friendly conversation and a smile. Very little wait. Very nice to deal with

Upon return of rental I used for 2-3hrs, approximately 30-35 miles...the lady at the front desk checked my truck in and told me the gas tank was under half and that I had driven over 100+ miles. I picked it up with a full tank, mileage good and somehow the mileage changed?? I noticed she was on her computer looking up the truck info..by all means she was acting weird like there was something up. She wouldn't let me go back out to the truck to check the gas and mileage with her. Finally after me saying this isn't right and so on we walked out together. She jumped in pretty quick and wow the gas was back on full!! Mileage was still weird even though I didn't drive 100 miles. She was acting all weird saying you know these trucks are faulty and have bad gas gauges or something so the gas gauge is never right. She tried to charge me for the extra miles I didn't drive. Minutes later after proving my point she said she would meet me in the middle with price...still not right as I agreed just to get out of this place!! She calls me back an hour later to apologize and told me that someone went into the computer and wrote the mileage down wrong or something..never using this place again.
The employee went out of her way to meet our needs.
The truck was there, but it was not your typical store, as they had almost no other trucks or trailers like where I turned it back in. They only had 1 dozen blankets available when I had ordered 2 dozen. The truck also had an unmarked dent on the skirt, so they had to search for the stickers to mark it. UHaul was not their primary business. The engine made a lot of noise, but the tires looked good and the AC worked fine.
The site owner is very friendly and efficient. Couldn't have been a better experience.
The whole process was horrible I kept having to call about knowing what time to come pick it up then out of no where it was a deposit
I had terrible days dealing with uhaul I booked in advance reservation got changed by a rep who contacted me to change it I asked for closest location ended up having to travel 15min to the new location this morning only to find I could not check out self serve contacted the uhaul 1800 number they advised me to go inside the reps inside of uhaul were gone and was directed by someone there that they'd be back 3 hours later they had to be sent to another uhaul location 15min away very terrible day
They didn't have the correct truck ready. The trailer blinker didn't work. The computer was giving the associate fits. There were no other trailers available to tow my vehicle with. I ended up having to leave my car for someone else to pick up. This also made me late for my movers and I had to reschedule my internet installation which was set for two hours after I should have arrived had I left an hour after i intended to leave. This was not a good experience at all!
The pick up location was very professional and helpful. A great representative for U-Haul!
The key depository was not well-marked and was a very small black box near a gate - the description on the app said "near front door," which is not helpful. A more helpful description would be "On wall, near office front door. Near to the blue gate for the storage entrance." When I asked the attendant where the key box was, she was not entirely helpful and a looked at me like I was stupid, which was rude.
Nice customer service
There were 2 people behind me in line. The rep didn't walk outside to show the condition of the truck before my rental. The truck was damaged before i left the property, but the pictures I was showed of the truck didn't reflect that.
The truck share 24/7 did not work for me when I arrived to my location at 7 am. I had to drive back to the location a second time that day, spend 25 minutes on the phone with the 1-800 number to change my pick up time, and then finally my truck share 24/7 worked. Very inconvenient.

I originally booked my 15 ft uhaul at the location on Marshall ave in Longview. IN advance. The day before I was supposed to move, they called me and told me a lady decided not to turn her uhaul in and that they'd try to find me another one. They said they had a 26 foot one in Tyler. (Did not offer me a discount for a 15 ft as that is all I needed and my things would go flying in a truck that's double the size) so I call that morning to tell them I'd be running a little late to pick up the trailer, and apparently the man who had the 26 foot trailer had also decided not to turn his uhaul in on time, and no one has called to tell me that. Still, no one has offered me any kind of discount or assistance or even cared about my dilemma. Then, they find me ANOTHER 26 ft truck, still not offering to bump it down to a 15ft price, and gave me the location of it. After hanging up, I looked the address up and it was 30 miles in the opposite direction of where I needed to be. Still, no one has offered to comp my miles for the extra 60+ mile drive. So once I realized how far it was, I called customer service and was told that I should have been given a $50 credit and that he'd transfer me to scheduling. I wait on hold initially to talk to someone for 20 minutes, then he transfers me to scheduling and I wait on hold another 20 minutes and then I got hung up on when she answered the phone. So I sit and call customer service back and wait another 20 minutes for someone to answer, spend several minutes explaining to another man what has happened and how frustrated I was. And still have not gotten any kind of discount or sympathy. He finds me a trailer on the Marshall ave location that he said had been turned in and to be there at 11:30. I speed to Longview from Tyler to get there in time in case anyone took the truck before I could get there. I finally get there, and the truck was gone. I waited 15 minutes in line and the man at the desk did not seem the least bit concerned about all of the trouble I was having that was not my fault in anyway. I booked my uhaul in advance. So then he finds me a 20ft trailer st the cubby hole, I go there to get it. And STILL was not offered a discount. I asked if I could have the 15 foot price for all that I've been through trying to get a uhaul and he offered me $10 off. Just $10. So then I park my car and come back inside and he tells me instead of deducting $10 he ADDED $10 and I was STILL not compensated for my miles that I had to drive out of my way from where I had originally booked my uhaul. This has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I am appalled that not one person even cared about all of the trouble I was having that was not even my fault.
Oveaii on the original reservation they knew I was renting a car trailer also but never was told there would be an extra insurance price for the trailer. Not happy about that at all. Would have been ok with it if I knew ahead of time before actually picking up the trailer
