The truck was filthy when I picked it up. I had to stop and clean the exterior of the windows and mirrors because they were too dirty to safely see out. No one did a walk around with me to identify any previous damage, so I did that myself and took pictures of a couple of issues. When I returned the truck there was also no walk around.

The van I rented was dirty (white dog/cat hairs in both the front seats, mud, dirt, and gravel on the floor). Uhaul.com kept glitching so checking the van out took more than 30 minutes. I admit that theres no way of telling whether that was an issue with the site or with my own phone but overall the experience was frustrating and the inside of the van was very dirty. Im not a germaphobe but because of the pandemic I expected a clean vehicle and this one appeared to have been neglected and I felt as if the store owners just didnt care to maintain it. Other than that it was a smooth ride and cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.
I wanted to make sure an additional driver was added since my boyfriend was going to do the driving and the guy working couldn't give me that information so I had to call and be on hold and 20 minutes later found out he was successfully added online. He was also on the phone during our check in and during our check out while helping us. Truck was clean. Check in and out was easy and accurate but experience was just average overall.
An efficient and simple experience. All I'd say to improve is to ensure windshield wipers are in better shape. It was a bit tough during the snowstorm.
I've rented a few times, and they've always made it very easy. The truck was dirty and beat up, but that is somewhat expected of a rental truck.
The truck was in fine condition; The daily rate & $/mile too were reasonable. A little awkward navigating the contact-less p/up & drop off. So be sure to have your mobile device for both P/UP & drop off. Great customer service at A-Z also ðŸ‘
To be completely honest, after a day of moving, the drop-off link fir the truck was overwhelming. I just wanted to give you your truck back and go home to sleep. I don't know if it's possible, but my advice would be to make the drop-off more simple.
Had a mix up on pick-up time. but they were helpful. I would recommend.
They charged me for a dolley that wasnt in the truck. They never went out and did the inspection with me. Gave me attitude about accepting cash. Even told me I could go elsewhere if I didn't like there bad attitudes and lack of knowledge of how uhaul even works as a service. Then when I got them to they dont even know how the deposits work. Which is probably why they refuse cash. Worst location and wouldn't want my company name being blemished by them. Will give Uhaul one more try. If I have the same issue again bet your bottom dollar Im done with Uhaul as a whole. Plenty pf other rental companies with far better customer service.
Washer fluid was low. Wiper blades were worn out. Not this sites fault but the web site would not allow me to do contactless checkin

Available hours are not good. Rented a trailer with a bald tire and bent axle. I had to take it back and go a more expensive route. U-haul would not credit/refund me. Done with UHaul for good.

The truck was not cleaned out, the drivers door did. Not close properly. I also became stranded for 2 hours because of a faulty ignition switch.

We rent almost weekly and usually have no problems at all. However on this occasion I was very disappointed that we could not pick up the vehicle using the phone app even though that is what we signed up for. Having to wait until the site opened cost us valuable time. I hope you are able to correct the problem that led up to this unfortunate situation.
They closed 2 hours early, made no effort to communicate this with us, didn't answer phone. It appeared via an email we got and Uhauls website that the truck we reserved was no longer available. I had to call Uhaul, they said I could still get it.
They gave us no paperwork, no way to check original mileage, did not show us how things worked. It's been years since I've used anything but your vans, and I think I'd go with a different rental company if there is a next time.
