The truck was not cleaned out, the drivers door did. Not close properly. I also became stranded for 2 hours because of a faulty ignition switch.

I would like a one way.
We rent almost weekly and usually have no problems at all. However on this occasion I was very disappointed that we could not pick up the vehicle using the phone app even though that is what we signed up for. Having to wait until the site opened cost us valuable time. I hope you are able to correct the problem that led up to this unfortunate situation.
They closed 2 hours early, made no effort to communicate this with us, didn't answer phone. It appeared via an email we got and Uhauls website that the truck we reserved was no longer available. I had to call Uhaul, they said I could still get it.
They gave us no paperwork, no way to check original mileage, did not show us how things worked. It's been years since I've used anything but your vans, and I think I'd go with a different rental company if there is a next time.
Both guys there were maskless in our presence. While not a big deal to me, some might be offended.
Please get your website in order with the hours , we showed up at the location with an 8:00 reservation, no one was there , and when we got there at 9:00 the ppl working to here were rude, also lazy...I probably rent u-haul again, never at that location.
Total fraud. They charged me for three rental periods when I had the van for less than 24 hours. Honestly if small claims court wouldn't cost three times the judgment I would pursue it. I mean if I could afford to waste the time I would do it anyway because these people are so awful. And they're awful because they think that they can get away with it because so many people think that it's just not worth the time to screw with it anymore. The first time I went to this location it was a great experience but dude boy couldn't handle being wrong so he fraudulently put extra rental periods on my account. This is the second time I've had to disable a card so that a U-Haul franchisee couldn't steal from me. 0 stars
First trailer I received was faulty. Young man helping me and agreed there was an issue. He promptly swapped out the trailor. Website showed there was a ball mount available for me to purchase upon arrival. They had none! Luckily there was an auto parts store a couple blocks away. This took time a lot time and was frustrating
The rental and return policy was very easy. Clean, well maintained cargo van.
Apparently I was charged a refueling fee of $13. Tank was not full when I picked it up. Took pictures of gauge before and after use. Total use of the truck was 10 miles, and somehow that equates to $13 in fuel? Reached out to store via uhaul website, no response. Guess I'll use some other company next time.
The worst part of my experience had nothing to do with the location. It had to do with the Uhaul web app for checking the truck back in. I brought it back after hours and attempted to check in with the we app by following the link provided. After entering milage and fuel level, I was prompted to add a photo, but the button for adding a photo did not respond to taps (this was on Android). It simply would not allow me to upload a photo, and at the same time it would not allow me to proceed without uploading a photo. Extremely frustrating! Since I couldn't check the truck back in, I ended up driving back to my home (incurring additional mileage charges) and returning it the next morning. I arrived about 15 minutes before the location opened and tried the web app again. Same result. So I waited for the location to open and the gentleman working there checked in the truck. Overall I was very unhappy with the web app experience as it wasted a lot of my time!
Experience was really good and smooth. Only issue was that the truck was really dirty in both the cab and the back, looking like it was not checked or cleaned between uses. In these days of COVID I hoped at least the interior of the cab would have been wiped down but it most definitely had not. Truck was in good condition mechanically and got the job done.
Trailer would not work Car dolly was all busted up and the strap broke on one side and the other one was frayed Would not use U hall for that purpose again

The location was close and the owner was very helpful. My only complaint is how hard it is to contact anyone on the phone. I have questions other than FAQ's and I was on hold for 15-20 minutes each time I called. That tells me how important my business is to you. Your customer service policy needs some review and definitely some upgrade.

Uhaul is a reputable company and I have always used them to move in the past...that being said, I am not sure why the system being used makes users guess at whether or not a truck will be available and just bumps other customers if it's not. I am not an expert on your system or fleet management by any means, but does it not make sense to only book a truck or make it available if and only if you physically have possession of it? My only complaint and I am not alone was booking trucks online and being told the day of we either have to go to another location for a truck or they don't have the truck we want altogether...makes moving a little more stressful...
