This location was a Mobile Gas station and clearly unprepared for my reservation. It took them 20 minutes to get me "checked in", and could not print my receipt due to faulty printer. I had to take a photo of the computer screen as my "receipt".

Female clerk could entered info in wrong, lap top would not accept debit card with visa logo. Had to go to bank to withdraw cash for transaction. Most difficult transaction ever.

When I went.to drop off the truck, I couldn't find my initial receipt, they said I couldn't return the truck with out the receipt, I was confuse because I have rented from u-haul many times before, they said they couldn't even look me up in the system because they don't keep a copy. I found my receipt a few seconds later.he told me.he couldn't do the return right away.because he couldn't go outside, I felt that was rude and unprofessional, after standing there for about 20mins he takes me outside to look at the truck the tells ME to go park the truck where I got it from 2days earlier, I never heard of that in my life. I was baffled, I felt like I was treated poorly and inhumane, I will never go to that location and will never recommend anyone else to that location, but I'm to the point where I will stick back to pensky their the best ever!!!!!

My pick-up location was changed one day before pick-up. Although I requested the same pick-up time as for the original location, the moving helpers and I spent 2.5 hours waiting for the manager to be available because this location did not open until 11.30 am. U-Haul needs to be more aware of the opening times of the pick-up stations to avoid such waste of time and money as my movers were already on the clock.

First of all this return location was way out of our way and here again the person responsible to receive our truck was not available, so we had to wait for him and then got charged extra for the extra mileage we incurred , this was not a pleasant experience with UHaul and will probably be my last.

Unaware the location was inside of a convenient store, I called after following the online directions and asked where exactly they were located. I told the employee I was in a 7-11 parking lot and gave descriptions of the surrounding area. She suggested I go down the street until I find some "market". I followed her directions and soon realized she was either a) an idiot or b) doesn't pay attention to details. When I called her, I was IN the parking lot of the uhaul located inside the 7-11. How could she not know that based on the streets and surrounding shops I described to her? After I was inside, she acted as if I was an inconvenience to her. The contract for uhaul was filled out incorrectly which she insisted the return location would fix. Luckily the uhaul was clean and ran great!

The location was selected by U-Haul for my pickup as the truck was there or would be there when I needed it. The personnel were very nice and processed my order as quickly as the person on the phone could do it. I had to provide information that should have been on the order I did on line.

I waited like 45 mins to an hour to return the vehicle cause the U-Haul personnel wasn't at the location, they got instructions from him over the phone. PS, please take note that the vehicle was return 24 hrs before the given date and time.

The emploee named Maura at 7-11 was rude, abusive Be harassed me. When I aarived at 1:40 to get my truck, your emplyeed....Fernando had to be called back in Also, I was quoted .79 cents per mile....he insisted it was .99. Uhaul didn't inform him of my order . He was polite, however, I insisted on a $100. Cash deposit...he wanted my card which he stated would be put through instead of on hold. Upon returning at 12:30 Monday, no-one would help me and refused to contact any uhaul employee. I was harassed, told to come back Tuesday to pay n receive amount due me from costs. I called the manager of this disgusting location and was allowed to return my truck to the Carson/cherry store. This is the most excellent, professional store in long beach. I will never rent from any location except this one . Uhaul at 5400 Atlantic will be reported to the better business bureau, the editorial section of the newspaper plus the city mayor for the poorest location which badly reflects on uhaul, 7-11 and Mobile gas, this was the worst, most diffucult situation ever. Thank God, I ll never have to utilize this location again. Maybe a small claims suit for harassment, breach of contract etc would be worth my day in court.

The location is hard to find. It is located inside of a gas station. The owner was not very friendly and the pumps at this location were hard to use. The pumps werent being maintained and kept stopping when we tried putting gas into the Uhaul. I passed up the location because no signs were visible from the street. There inventory was lacking. Only two trucks were available for rent. One was newer which was a nice surprise but the other truck was old and needed to be recycled out. Other than that the lady who processed my order was nice and friendly and helpful. She had a good positive attitude but the owner was unfriendly and offered no help at the pumps when we informed him of the problem with the pumps. I wil NEVER use that location ever again. The location is a JOKE! I felt like I was going to be robbed the whole time I was there. Not a very safe area or neighborhood.

we made an online res on sat sept 15 for same day pick up in long beach at checkout said we could use another location as drop off to save 100.00 we were unable to finish because of poor reception while driving we stopped at a uhaul location the person was very nice and made the reservation for us... we then called at 300pm for convo had to explain the change in dropoff for the savings she could not find anysavings i tried to explain to her it was at checkout, the next person i spoke with was just an incompitdent we were told to get to the long beach location by 500pm we were in orange we drove to get there by 500, by surprise it was a 7-11 store the clerk was very friendly but said they stop the renting at 200pm, he was kind enough to let us pick it up still although we had to wait for a long while as he had to help constant flow of customers at the 7-11, we drove back to our hotel and within less than a mile there was a full u haul store with inventory on the lot the call center made a big mistake by making us go way out of the way for pick up,after not being able to return it to reno for the 100 dollar savings as we were taking it to truckee ca with the closest drop off being in incline village, so at check out the total came to 461.29 instead of the 361 as we tried to get but the res on the phone just couldnt get it, I will say the person at the 7-11 was very helpful and he should be noted as being one of your best reps , the two women on the phone just didnt get it, it was very frustrating,
