My truck was there on time for pick up and clean.The nice young woman behind the counter was very pleasant, despite multiple phone calls and other customers waiting. I will return next time I need a Uhaul.

I picked up the truck and he had me pay before looking at it. When I pointed out all of the caked on mud, he said it's fine, in addition it was a one way rental and he provided it with only a 1/4 of gas. I find this extremely disappointing. Not only did he give me a filthy truck, when I returned the truck I was charged a cleaning fee!!

After reserving a truck at the Livermore location I was run all over town, between Livermore and Pleasanton. The truck I reserved (15', I believe) was suddenly not available in Livermore so I was told to go to Pleasanton. Half way there I'm told they don't have a truck either. I have 5 people waiting to help me move and now no truck available. Offered the only thing available, a 10' so I had to grab it. So now my belongings don't fit and instead of taking one trip and dropping off the truck in San Jose, I have to make 2 trips. So, is this a ploy to offer you one thing and then switch at the last minute? Sounds like providing you a small truck will force you to make 2 trips - then you can charge mileage. Not a happy customer, maybe Budget is the way to go. This is unacceptable and made the rest of my move miserable, 2 hours of chasing a truck that doesn't exist while my help sat waiting for me. Probably won't be back, not happy!

The location itself is fine. However, please note that my preferred location was San Jose, CA (The Alameda street) but I was sent to U-Haul in Livermore, CA which is 50 miles away from my home. Also, this location did not open until 10am on the day when I picked up the truck (Sunday). As such, when I got back home with the truck and the auto transport, it was already 11:30am. Unacceptable!

The drop off site isn't very clear. There should be better and larger signage. Other than that, the guy at the counter was friendly.

employee had no customer service skills. seemed very uninterested. had no blankets too rent. handed me keys and stated " if everything looks alright your good to go" didnt even get up from his chair. truck only had 1/4 tank so i had to fill up before heading out. not a fun way too start my long weekend of moving.

Dispatch arranged this location for truck pickup which was closed to my home-unfortunately, the car trailer I reserved was set up at a different location over 20 miles away. Good equipment but delayed my move.

I originally placed the reservation at the 1037 E Airway Blvd Livermore, CA store and it was a horrible experience. Placed on hold numerous times for over 20 minutes, then the person did not know how to book the reservation and said they would call me be back. She called me back but again kept putting me on hold for long periods of time. Then sent me 4 different confirmations and I called to confirm the correct confirmation and where to pick up the truck. I was told to pick up the truck at the Airway location, I went there and they said my reservation was canceled. I called the main Uhaul number they said I have to go to Livermore Self Storage. Livermore Storage had the truck but they said I did not pay for the truck but I did when I setup the reservation with the other place. So I had to pay again. All in all not the best experience and wasted a lot of my time. I did not know where to drop the truck off. When I figured out where to drop it off, the guy was rude and not helpful in any way. I did not enjoy being treated as a inconvenience to their day. I do not think I will use Uhaul again due to this experience.

The truck was clean and well maintained. The overall experience with U-Haul was great. The staff at origin was friendly and helpful and got us checked in and we were out of there in no time at all. Droped the truck off after hours and used the convenient ket drop.

The drop off office is behind a locked gate at a storage-locker facility. There were no real indications that it was a U-Haul drop off site or instructions on how to go about performing the drop off. (It was clean enough, but not inviting.) They had a box to drop the keys off, but I wanted confirmation that everything was in order from a person. When I figured out how to actually work with the personnel on the other side of the gate, everything went smoothly. I initially attempted to arrange this rental via the website with a drop off at a more convenient "regular" U-Haul facility that I use routinely. Unfortunately, the web site was broken and would not allow me to complete the transaction. Next time I will insist on an alternate drop off site.

The storage unit tenants next to the office looked they were finishing up a meth cook in their unit as they glared at me as I walked to the office. Walking in the office people were eating a rotisserie chicken on the office desk and ignoring that anyone had walked in. After asking for help the phone rang and I had to wait in what smelled like a KFC for about 7 minutes as the gentleman who worked there explained to the caller every uhaul offer that I think has ever existed. After the call ended it was fine...but I would tell the caller to wait as I think a person in the office should come before a caller.

The dealer stated that she had not received my order ahead of time so they did not have the truck ready. She found my order in the computer and then did the paperwork for a truck, the problem was that the truck she thought she had on the lot had apparently been moved by UHaul to another dealer over the Holiday. This made the checkout time almost 45 minutes to an hour. She also did not change the assigned vehicle in the system which caused confusion at the drop off location. The drop off dealer information showed that I had a different truck which also caused another 30 minute delay

There is no way to get into the office without someone letting you in the security gate. No one answered the call button at the gate. We had to call on the phone to have someone let us in. The express check-in is anything but express. It still took 30 minutes before we left.
