The location is execellent. But the uhaul customer service sucks. Uhaul over charged me for my rental which was $39 a day. I rented truck on Monday at 12 noon and brought it back Wednesday 11 am, which is total of 47 hours which under 2 days. But uhaul chargede for 3. I need refund for overcharge of 1 day. Customer service sucks I have on the phone 800 number for 45 minutes and can't get through. I am a long term uhaul customer been rented since 1979. I have not been treated like this ever by uhaul. If this situation is not fixed, I won't be coming back to uhaul and give uhaul a bad rating on social media Please call me at 5105070256 to resolve this Santokh

Open store on time? Employee issues cost me three hours and had to cancel one run. Now, Have to rent again, no choice. Next time I'll go somewhere else for rental. Once they found someone to open store, getting truck was fine.

After I received a text that my pick-up location was being re-assigned, I called U-haul customer service twice and both times I was placed on hold never to hear from anyone again. Follow-up was extremely poor. I called the Livermore location and the young girl who took my was not trained o a computer and could not access my order information. The moving van was extremely dirty inside and I had to sweep and remove all the debris prior to packing

The location was ok, The lady doing the paper work was good. Was not told by U-Haul I needed the license plate info for the car I was towing. Fortunately I was able to get it without making an extra trip to the house. MAJOR problem was the dolly tow trailer was defective. Right side wiring for turn and brakes was shorted to ground. It blew my 10 amp fuses in my 4-runner for both brakes and turn signal. If you don't have brake lights on a 4-runner, you can't put the transmission into drive. If I were not an engineer, and if I didn't have spare fuses, I would have been badly stuck. Disconnected the trailer, called U-Haul, and got in touch with BREE out of Alabama. She saved the day. She reserved another trailer in my city, did all the paper work, I ditched the defective and picked up the good one. Wasted four hours. You need to pre-check equipment better. And give BREE a raise.

The card on file wouldn’t go through for the $16 extra mileage charge, which was weird since the $100+ rental charge went through on the card and there is sufficient funds available on the card.

I'm very poor customer service! The U-Haul truck was extremely dirty from the front all the way to the back the wood flank That was supposed to be screwed on to the back of the inside of the truck was broken and hanging off. We got charged from picking up the U-Haul driving to a U-Haul location to pick up a dolly that was supposed to be provided from the beginning when we picked up the U-Haul at that location. After stating that we wasn't going to be charged the mileage or the U-Haul we were charged anyways. While you're driving the inside of the trucks gets extremely hot as if you have on the heater. It's so hot that you can barely keep your foot on the gas pedal when driving on the freeway at 65 miles an hour. Poor maintenance service on the truck! The bad odor in the truck was so bad I had to put an air freshener inside of it. We actually had to clean the steering wheel it was so dirty with hand sanitizer. More customer service training needs to be provided for this location. They only have one truck no wonder why they only have one truck it's because they don't provide good quality Care to their customers and also on the truck. The bathroom was extremely dirty by the way I wouldn't recommend this place to no one at all not even my cat or dog. After returning the truck. We were overcharged for the use of the truck.

Have a clean, ready to go vehicle that does not have a "check engine light" on. I did bring this to the attention of the store manager who did give me his cell number should something happen, he told me it was coming due for service. I called the road service number to check before I drove 750 miles, he checked the service history, about 1000 miles ago it had undergone $4500 in repairs.
