I returned the vehicle after the normal operating hours, so I used the key-drop off box. I made sure the vehicle had more than the required fuel, was under the allotted miles and I even secured the Appliance Dolly in the front, as suggested by the pickup unit. I looked in the back and to my knowledge the truck was clean. When I received my final receipt I was charged an additional $35 for cleaning. I called the facility where the truck was turned in and the Gentlemen was indeed I was charged $35 and that the pictures attached to my receipt would show me why. I looked, but was unable to see any pictures. I assured the Gentlemen that the truck was in the same condition as when I picked it up. I called back to the truck drop-off location, inquired about the pictures and was told to call 1-800-GOUHAUL to get copies of the pictures. Thank-you to the AFM Manager/Customer Service the problem was resolved. I always rent with U-Haul and will continue to rent from U-Haul (my place of choice), but never rent from 2888 Evans Mill Rd, Lithonia, GA.

The individual servicing this location was extremely rude, unfriendly and unaccommodating! Upon arrival to pick up my truck, I was initially told to wait while he finished repairing a vehicle. It wasn't until the client who's car was being serviced asked the repairman to please help me that he stopped and assisted me. He then insulted me and made several snide remarks. Horrible location! Horrible service!

The owner of this establishments was extremely rude and downright nasty when I got there however I still continued to rent the van that I had reserved, which was not originally supposed to be at this location. I would go as far as to say he is trying to scam his customers when they choose not to use the additional $10. For protection. He did not want to inspect the vehicle I rented when I took it out for rent so I did my own taking several pictures of different small smudges and scrape. Upon return he had the nerves to try to charge me for the very item that I had already documented. Once I was able to prove him as a liar he proceeded to attempt to clean the smudges off and told me to sit tight and wait, after I demanded that he do that on his time, because they where not made by me he tried telling me I was free to go without adjusting my bill to reflect payment for the miles that I had used as supposed to the amount he originally charged me he was so rude to me and my son when I told him to stop trying to run the gas down in which he had turn on and off the van several times as well as moved it three times I threaten to call the cops on him at which put he shouted in my face for me to shut up. He is disgusting and I believe he should not he able to represent Uhaul. I will never go there again and believe everyone who ever has sgould review what they paid for people like him can not be trusted. For my experience I should get a full refund he waisted over a half hour of my time trying to get over on me extremely disappointed and disgusted.

The store manager was excellent! When I saw that I was not going to finish unloading the van on time, I called him and he was very professional and courteous. If I need UHAUL again, I will return to this location for service !

The owner was SUPER RUDE !!!... I brought the truck back with extra gas and then he charged me an extra $35 cleaning fee after I swept the truck out that took me nearly 30mins to complete I need my money back on my card or I will be suing ASAP!!!!

The manager/owner gave us a truck with the check engine light on and a loud muffler noise. We requested a furniture dolly. He said no one on This side of town had one and tried to get us to get an appliance dolly. We declined it. This was suppose to be a quick move that was going to be less than 10 miles total. He insisted that he could not charge us in advance for less than 50 miles. We protested, but we were under a time limit and had reserved the truck in advance. We paid for the miles knowing we would be reimbursed once we were done. He gave us his rules, one that he stated we must sweep the truck out after the move or he would charge us 25 dollars if he had to sweep. We took a picture of the gas and the mileage to ensure there was no problem. The truck drove very slow so this took more time than we had. When we returned the truck I told him about the engine light and the muffler and he said, I know about that. I said it would have help if you told us in advance. He shrug his shoulders and didn't reply. I told him we needed to check out and get our refund, he said it was going to be 30 minutes. He continued to walk around doing nothing. He said he would email us in 30 minutes the receipt. We left. It is the next morning and we have not receive the receipt. NEVER, EVER USE THIS PLACE. MANAGEMENT, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE TRUCK ARE HORRIBLE.

No grace period for return. Charged an extra day for equipment and truck after being an hour late. Was not told either. Owner had his employee check the truck in and after which he tells me “ok you’re good” Didn’t discover charge until emailed receipt. Not good business. :(

Representative misrepresents any close to courteous, respectful, and trustworthy. He watched be blow out back of truck on site and still charged 35$ clean out fee. If and when when I need uhaul services in future it wont be this location.

Not a happy customer- I am a repeat customer of this Uhaul dealer (Covaco) and was charged a $25 cleaning fee for literally a couple strands of carpet left in the back of the truck - Fact is that- cleaned the truck with a broom prior to turning it in and was still charged the fee. I will not use this location anymore as I clearly see that they nickel and dime the loyal customers...

As a Claims Manager, I felt the representative could have been more informative- for example, when I advise that my insurance would cover a uhaul with a GVW of 10lbs, he should have told me the one I am renting is greater than 10lbs---if I'd know that, I would have purchased your insurance. When I told him that the drop off location closes at 7 pm and that's why I am selecting that location for drop off... He should advise me there was an extra $40 associated with not returning the equipment by 4pm. I assumed it was prior to the drop off location closing. It is a good thing I read the rental agreement so that I was able to return by 4:00 pm. Thank God, I was able to return the equipment with no damage and without being in an accident. However, the representative was nice and probably did his best to be informative, and for that reason I will give him 4 stars---

This location is good. Visible, neat, and safe to leave your vehicle. Uhaul should show owners how to walk people thru mobile rental process.
