We asked for a 10 foot truck but got a 15. Also there was no equipment like ropes and blankets Also, the trucks really need updating with USB ports and electric windowsArt S.
Have the vehicle at the location it was reserved at 2 months prior. Don't call a customer less then 24 hours before the pickup to tell them they need to travel 30 miles to pickup the reservation. Regional Sales Manager "Matt" was condescending and sarcastic.. Absolutely NO discount for the inconvenience. Have a license plate on the vehicle I had to travel to pickup, which was apparently dropped off the night before with no tags, or according to Matt, it was stolen? Waited an additional hour to get another truck, of which was already reserved but was told....and I quote "screw them." Extremely poor customer service except for the initial reservation made. Excuse after excuse....never once offered any discount for fuel or mileage....oh wait...was given and additional 25 miles. Truck was absolutely deplorable. I could continue but what's the point, I'm sure it was my fault, because according to Matt, I'm not the only one renting a truck 2 months in advance, interesting managerial skills.Robert S.

The trailer had no Jack or stand. The staff handed me a bunch of papers and said â€œgood luckâ€. How about basic customer service? Even if you refuse to provide basic tools and don't want lift the trailer with me, you could have at least helped waive me back to line up the hitch. It was a really poor service experience and I will never return or recommend. I would drive you to another service station or town before using bucks again.William S.

Make the hidden $1 environmental fee optional or include it in your rate upfront and don't mention why your rates are a dollar higher then, just charge it. (so instead of $19.95 rate it would be $20.95 or 5% more)...it would just be more honest and fair to your customers and not leave them with this dirty feeling like they were forced and tricked into paying for something extra. Adding an environmental "fee" after a decision to purchase has already been made seems unethical, forcing others to pay for your environmentalism. If you are going to charge others for your environmentalism it should at least be optional to the customer or if you insist, then it should be clearly part of your advertised rates up front. It's actually disgusting your company forcing me to pay for your environmental activism at the end of a transaction, even if just $1...We do notice what you are forcing and there is enough annoying extra government "fees" already on rentals without your company adding even more. You should know this irritates people.john H.
The steering wheel was soiled and there was a pair underwear in floor console and they did not have the appliance hand truck that I had ordered so I had to drive to a rental store to rent one. Penske here I come!Dennis M.

The UHAUL app did not work in order to complete the return. In addition, the email and text hyperlinks did not work either. No fault of the location at all. Please fix the gliches with the app, which had worked well earlier this year when I had rented another truck.ryan G.
the problem is with the website. it would not give me a requested location and I was given a pickup location miles away. so I did not use the website and went direct to pickup location nearest me. Great experience with location, bad with website.Daniel R.
Do not allow customers to schedule pick up times outside of the location's open hours. We got there at our scheduled pick up time and the u-haul website said we had to wait til the location opened even though I specifically chose u-haul share 24/7 so that I could get the truck whenever.
