The phone pickup took much longer than the in person store experience has for me in the past. The truck was not very clean and the location was difficult to find.
UHaul app is terrible. Had to call phone support on both pickup and droppoff.
1. GPS wasn't bringing me to the right location. It said that location was on the left when it was actually on the right behind a small shopping complex. 2. I arrived 15 minutes before the store closed (hours listed on the door) and the guys already put the closed sign up. Tried to talk to me through the door and said I need to get the milage and complete the checkout process. I was confused because I thought that was what he was supposed to do and I just hand him the keys. Walked over and got the milage and put the keys in the drop box. He said I need to finish the process using an app. Which I didn't have the app. He said I have to call the pick up location to fix it. They were great! Helped me over the phone to the best of their abilities and said I was done and everything what checked out. The drop off location called me the next day saying that I still hadn't complete it and told me to call Uhaul. I did and they told me everything was already in order.
Need to make the use of the app more user friendly. I had to call a customer service representative to enter the information for me
I filled the vehicle with gas per the recommended gallons on chart and it was 1 gallon short according to the checkin report. I was a bit frustrated that I was charged the extra charge. Also truck drivers seat would not go back so it was tight driving it.
I had bad experience with this order
Paid for a 17' truck with utility dolly, furniture pads and furniture dolly. Utility dolly was not secured properly in back of vehicle and went all over the back of the truck with the first turn we took. Did not receive furniture pads or furniture dolly at all. Called 1-800 customer service number, they called the local location where nobody answered. They left a message and was told I would get a call back prior to close of business. No call back. When returning truck through iOS application I chose an option to dispute the charges as incorrect as I didn't want to be charged for equipment I didn't receive or use. I was told I would get a call back within 48 hours of that. No call back. Called 1-800 number again where they again called the local facility and the person they spoke with didn't know how to process a return so I wouldn't be charged for this. They called the field manager (Richard Henry) who didn't respond and was told I'd get another call back. I'll believe it when it happens. I'd rather rate this one star but they're getting two stars because as I sat here and typed this I received an updated email with a new receipt and the correct charges applied. Would not recommend Tri Village Self Storage Polaris Orange LLC or U-Haul at this point. Nothing but added frustration and stress to an already stressful experience.
Overall, a great experience. Dave was helpful and accommodating. I was charged 20 cents per mile more than the U-Haul website said I would be charged. This was unexpected, but I did not catch it in the contract when I picked up the vehicle, because I was not given hardcopy to review. I paid the extra without objection, considering it good value nonetheless.

improvement opportunity - we waited in line for 30 minutes. (this was partly my fault for not successfully doing all of the pre set up to pick up with the app.... but it shouldn't be that difficult!!!)

It was the easiest Uhaul pickup and return i have ever done!
Location was closed outside of normal hours for the day before Thanksgiving, but this was not need when making the reservation online.

I was not informed that if I turned the vehicle in to a representative at the drop-off location that I would be charged a fee ($15+).
I was supposed to have a furniture dolly and 10 pads in the truck and nothing was in the truck, now you charged me for it but the line item has been removed from my receipt. Now I have to waste time because not only did some not due their job but now you took money you didn't earn along with making my move more difficult
