This is not a grocery store. It's a liquor store. The place is not maneuverable with the size truck I rented. They were not equipped to be a Uhaul facility. It took me 45 minutes to get out of there because I had to wait for the person on the phone to change my credit card, then I had to load all the equipment I ordered myself. The truck was ancient, hard to drive, and filthy. The truck was extremely dangerous for a single female to drive from Alabama to Colorado.

The lady was a chain smoking rude person. If she could put her cigarette down long enough to put a full sentence together that would be a major achievement . There was an error in where the equipment was rented… The fellow on the phone told me it would be at Terry’s on Ashville Road when I got customer service on the phone after waiting forever it was realized that the man had put the reservation in in Odenville which is another city away that was the first Eric… The lady at Terrys Grocery where it was originally rented from would not help at all to rectify the situation it was a nightmare that probably should’ve taken 15 minutes it took two hours totally and completely ridiculous I will never use U-Haul again

Not only did I have to drive an hour out of my way to get a truck, but the furniture pads were not available and now I have marks all over everything. Then I still ended up getting charged for pads I never received. Awful experience.

Have someone who knows what the hell they’re doing at the U-Haul company. Y’all ran me all over the country and people tell me that they could not rent one because they didn’t know how to fill out the U-Haul papers. Please, get your act together. Terry’s was great but if I have to write the U-Haul company I would give it a zero.

I arrived to pick up the truck and the people seemed inept . The person that was helping me did it over the phone and could not retrieve the reservation number I had made on line. He then completed a new order but omitted adding the insurance which I wanted. When I realized it he instructed me to call 1800 go uhaul, but after almost 2 hours on the phone they told me I would have to wait until the morning. The next morning I called uhaul again as told and was told i would have to go to the store to do it there. Once I got there, the lady seemed to be confused and told me to call uhaul again, this call took another 20 or so minutes before someone actually was available to help me at which time I called my insurance company State Farm and they confirmed I would be covered for the rental. When I returned the the truck, I was informed the insurance was added. Long story short, I made the reservation on line to streamline the process, but this turned out to be a very stressful, complicated process, particularly because I was on a very specific timeline as I had arranged for people to come help with the move. Thankfully, it worked out at the end.

The lady working at the store could not help us with the rental she had to call another store for another lady to help me with the rental. Was told the rental of the trailer was $29.99 daily and $30.00 to drop the trailer off at another location and insurance was $16.00. That was fine. She got my credit card number and never told me how much she was charging my card. Did not know I was overcharged until I took the trailer back to another store. The return store gave me a refund of the difference

We have rented several trucks this year and due to my business, have a need for more rentals. I sorta lost my faith in Uhaul as I was routed 15 miles away to pick up my truck this time instead of my usual Terry’s location. We drove by Terry’s and saw they had several trucks and asked the cashier if one was available and she confirmed it was. We tried calling customer service numerous times and each time on hold for approximately 20 minutes each time! Probably 5-6 phone calls to get our reservation changed to our closer and preferred location. In one phone call the lady asked if we were from Canada, (I’m in Alabama) I told her no, Alabama and she routed me to Canada anyway. Another 20 minutes wait to get back to customer service. Have had better experiences but this one was a doozy.

There should be at least one uhaul employee at this location to assist customers with the equipment. I had no one to show me how to hook the auto transport up to the truck or how to get my car on the auto transport.

The lady I worked with to get the trailer was AMAZING!!! She was very understanding that i was sent all over the place to pick up what i had reserved. She was very attentive and concerned that i had made one reservation to pick up a trailer and truck and had to go to 3 different places just to get what I needed. As for the location in Centerpoint that i had gone to. That is a whole other story. Counterperson--rude, disconnected with what was going on in real life-- spent more time on his personal phone than dealing with the people in the store. Several customers walked out from having to wait for so long. A couple of them were even mad that their reservation wasn't even reserved. SMH. I probably won't be using u-haul again.

The location was convenient. The problem was they had no computer linked to U-Haul to retrieve my rental reservation. They called someone at another convenience store and handed the phone to me. Between them putting me on hold and hearing them wait on customers it probably took 25 minutes to give my info. Other than that they were very nice.

The location was very unprofessional, I. Arrived at the. Location around 11:20 am didn't drive off till 12 but that's minor. I didn't like that. I was having to do most of my talking over the Phone. Then when I Dropped off my uhaul there was a miscommunication about. The gas that was suppose to be in the Truck luckily my first mind. Told me to take a video and picture of my gas and mileage. Even though I was asked for a Time stamp Soo the picture was pretty much voided! I felt like a worker should have been there instead of via Phone to actually inspect the Truck themselves with their own eyes, that would have prevented me from going Back and forth with the. Associate. For 30 minutes (and I was in the right) which also put me. Behind. Schedule.. The workers are Friendly but the lack of organization throws politeness out the. Window. The cashier kept. Helping everyone but me! which is another reason while. There. Should have been a Uhaul worker present. I will not use this Location again.!

So many hidden fees and lies about my final price was ridiculous. I will make sure to let EVERYONE i know and post it all on social media about how something that was supposed to be $20 plus mileage ended as over $200!!! And how it said keep it about 1/4 a tank or get charged....i did keep it above.

I spent a lot of time on the phone trying to pay. The guy I talked to had to call someone else to figure out how to help me. He also kept trying to charge me more than the contract amount. But that morning another rep sent me to get a truck and the store worker couldn't find the key. This nice lady gave me a discount due to the wasted time and gas to get there. She then found me a different truck to rent. She actually did that twice for me. She was very professional and mind and went out of her way to help me.
