I was charged for a dolly and 6 pads, I did not order them, nor were they in the back of the truck. Why was I charged for them?
You can start by not lending out trucks which have been known to have problems with breaking down to poor people who have no idea. Out truck broke down an hour before we got home we were left in the rain for 9 hours only to find out from the mechanic that the truck has been known to break down with the same problem you guys put us in huge danger we passed through hours and hours of desert we could have broke down there and died this whole thing has made us fear ever using uhaul again plus leaving my mom in the rain when she clearly stated she is disabled is very unprofessional

When I arrived to pick up the trailer the location was completely locked up, this was at 4pm on a Saturday, a time this location was supposed to be open and the open sign was on. I waited for 15 min until the employee finally showed up. There should have been a note or something explaining why the location was closed.
The truck wouldn't go over 75 mph that was frustrating and dangerous when trying to pass on the freeway that was 75 mph
Both the person who helped me pick up my truck as well as the person I spoke to at the central uhaul office told me that I could drop off my truck in Manti Utah. However, when I looked at my paper work to get the address so I could return it, I found that I had to take it to Nephi. This was 40 minutes away. I was very frustrated by this. I don't believe it was the fault of Layton Hills Storage, instead I think your system automatically rerouted me and I wasn't made aware of this at the outset. This system needs to be updated. However, I would work with Layton Hills Storage again.
Promised truck at 9 am. Was waiting there at 10 minutes to 9 am. Employee came driving up to location at 2-3 minutes after 9. Rushing in to open. Hate waiting for a place to open late. Wouldn't recommend this place. Shows total disregard for customers. Employee should be reported and talked to. Would t doubt she was supposed to be there at 8:45 am. Very sloppy!!!
Closed on Sundays so we had to figure out things on our own.

When I picked up the trailer it had someone else's garbage in it, then had a tire blow out on the trailer while it was empty (thank goodness). After limping the trailer less than a mile to the location the counter person then proceeded to start Playing the blame game. I have used lots of U-Haul locations in the past and never had any issues, I won't be returning to this one.
The check in was quick and easy. The employee was kind and friendly. Thanks!

Sydney was great! But I couldn't pick up my uhaul because the combination didn't work. When I called I sat on hold for 20 min for them to tell me to just call the place in the morning. When I called again my estimated wait time was 1 min. I was on hold for 30 min. I tried to cancel my reservation due to work i couldnt pick it up the next day but because there were no notes from my first call I couldn't cancel it. This was the worst Uhaul experience. I know it doesn't seem like a lot but the stress of moving on top of working 40 hours, a year old it was extremely frustrating and inconvenient.
The cab was very dirty and had dog fur everywhere.

They didnt have the trailer i needed so Heather created a contract for me in Ogden. When j got there it took over an hour and uhaul tech support to get it worked out so i could get down the road.
The lady in charge was friendly and answered all my questions. The inside of the truck was clean but the windows could have been better along with the mirrors.
I picked up a truck less than an hour before closing and brought it back at closing the following day. They said I was 43 min late and called a manager to discuss. I overheard the manager telling the sales rep it was their call to charge another day or not. She ended up charging me for 2 days. I thought they would give me the benefit of the doubt since there was no way they could have rented the truck to someone else right before closing. Be warned not to be a minute late! No forgiveness.
