This was perfect for an afternoon move of some furniture. I will say the truck served its purpose well, but a windshield held in place with duct tape and more little "x" stickers than I could count, I was a little worried about issues with damages (based only on my experience as a multiple time car renter every month). Nothing came to pass, there were no issues, but it did give me pause. When it came to "ding" identification, I could have circled the whole unit. Anyway, SMALL issue, the truck worked, the folks were friendly, the office and truck were clean and I'm happy.

service associate Kyra , rude, yelling, bad attitude, lying, over charge gas fuel ine, only couple gallon short, she quote 7 gallon short, need pay $30.00 diff ,we went out to gas station to fill 8 gallon of gas, her paper work was charge $14.25 and adjust $14.25, why she ask us pay $30.00 in the beginning.

I received a truck with no fuel which was fine and I was given a fuel credit of 33.00. I was told that I needed to return the truck with 1/4 tank of fuel and that would take roughly 8 gallons. I put 10 gallons in the tank and that took it to 1/2 tank wasting 15.00 of fuel I had to put into the truck. I only drove 19 miles and while the fuel credit was ok I feel like I paid more in fuel than the credit was worth.

U-Haul, without notifying me, moved me from West Charleston to this location. I was upset about that but this location was very nice. Your corporate customer service leaves a lot to be desired, took 20 minutes until I was able to speak to an agent and you did not tell me about the change in location.

I called and left 4 messages and no one ever called me back. My husband had to go in there and they gave him a hard time. The office staff was very rude and not helpful. He had to argue and yell just to get our reservation. Not a good experience.

Do NOT call a customer who has completed the contract and accuse them of having not done so. When the customer tells customer service the trailer and truck were both delivered on time, don't come back at them aggressively telling them it's their responsibility to make sure the contract is completed. I did everything that was asked of me, and I turned in the equipment to a U-haul location ahead of schedule. The customer service should not be threatening me and telling me it's on me to get in contact with the U-haul location, it's your company's responsibility to make sure equipment is being properly logged into the system, not mine. Frankly, the way I was treated on the phone when customer service thought I hadn't completed the contract was completely unacceptable and I doubt I'll be using U-haul services again if I can help it.

The gas tank was only 1/4 full which caused frustrations. Why charge a $30 service fee to the last person if you aren’t going to fill it up? Trying to fill it back up to the same level was burdensome, I wish the truck had just come completely full so it’d be easier in the beginning and end.

The parking lot was quite small and narrow, so I could not park where the staff originally asked me to. However, once I pointed that out, they were very helpful and parked the truck for me. The process was very fast and the location was convenient
