Truck was in poor condition and VERY dirty. I notriced that once I turned it in they cleaned it AFTER I rented it. I was charged a 25 dollar cleaning fee which I later noticed. I was told it was the oldest truck in the fleet and goes out everyday. They have spent 48k in repairs since it was purchased in 2006.MARK CAMBLIN H.

POOR Customer Service! Needed a one way rental, on my end my confirmation clearly said "one way rental" and listed my local drop off site. When we arrived to pick up the trailer, there was no trailer to rent. It is my understanding that the rental was not properly made from the U-Haul online reservation system. This issue was made very clear to us that this was "our" problem, not U-Hauls problem. The young lady at the desk was EXTREMELY unpleasant - I will not share her name but, a tiny bit of customer service or empathy goes a long way when something goes wrong. Not even an apology. I understand busy college moving days, I understand people cannot hire quality employees right now but she needs to understand her role is also customer service and how to treat people. It certainly was not our fault, she says it was not her fault...I am not sure how I am supposed to know they had no one-way trailers on their lot when I reserved it. Online it allowed me to reserve a trailer, took my payment (which is more than an in town rental) and told me where I was to drop it off. Very frustrating day after a wonderful graduation!Marcymason S.
I had a terrible experience with Uhaul. I reserved a truck 10 days in advance online. Uhaul contacts me 1 day before my requested reservation to inform me the truck would not be ready on time, and pushed my time out for pick up 4hrs later. Then uhaul contacts me the day of to inform me the truck is no longer available and no truck we're available in my area until the next day. So I had to reschedule my entire move to the next day. Vehicle was clean and well taken care of on the inside however the steering wheel was very loose and needed constant correction to drive straight, the suspension also needs significant attention. I was told at pickup that a hold on my credit card would be placed for the rental but I would be able to pay in cash at drop off. When I dropped the vehicle off I was told this was not possible and my card was charged instead. Overall disappointed with the entire experience.Genna T.
Train staff in customer service and knowledge of their job. Manager was new but if he is not able to resolve issues and says he will call back he should. Not happy. Cost us more than it should of but no resolution. We gave up. Moving across country is stressful as it is to be met with cold. Callous staff riding around on electronic skateboards. I arrived to an empty open store. No employees around. 10 minutes later as I walked inside the store an employee appeared I was charged a insurance fee that I did not agree to. The employee was reluctant to change the fee. It took 30 minutes to rent a trailer.Dons D.
