It wasn't until I arrived at my destination with the truck that I realized there was a problem. The U-Haul staff failed to ensure that the loading door would open as designed. It took nearly an hour to remove/thaw the ice that was holding the door shut. This is unacceptable.

The windshield wiper fluid didn't work. This was a huge problem driving one the highway during a snow storm. The salt and this problem made the entire trip dangerous and take much longer.

I made a reservation for a UHAUL 15" truck and auto transport a little over a month before my trip at the 5020 S Cedar Lansing, MI 48910 location. But on the date of my pick up the personnel with out informing me had upgraded my truck to 20" and right before i was about to charge my card i noticed the change. when i told the personnel i did not book a 20" he then told me that i had gotten an upgrade to a 20" with the same price, i was disappointed as he should have informed me of the upgrade and should have asked me if i was interested in 20" truck. I was moving a one bedroom apartment and the 20" would be too big to the stuff i was moving and would have damaged my stuff as it would shift places during my cross state move! i then had to move to another Uhaul location , which luckily had one last 15"truck. I think Uhaul needs to improve there reservation, what is the point of reserving a truck if one is not guaranteed of it during pickup? very disappointed. I was really satisfied with the waverly location personnel who had provided an excellent service under the circumstances. she was exceptional, hence my rating was excellent for the waverly location

This rental was a great ecperience. I came in to place my order since the online quote was wonky at the end. By going in, I received a firm price. Staff was pleasant and efficient, and it was very busy, so the wait to return was long but they were working fast.

The parking lot had lots of snow which made it a little difficult to walk in and the inside floor was wet and a little slippery. The big issue for me was that we were billed 17 cents for being over on the mileage. May have to use a different rental company next time and also will be posting my receipt on Twitter and Facebook letting everyone see how ridiculous this was.

I was taken aback on the fact that I HAD to put 1 gallon of gas in the truck. When I picked up the truck it showed it had 1/4 tank of gas and when I returned it (after driving 15 miles) it was still 1/4 tank of gas. BUT! Apparently the gauge was "just under" so I had to leave to go put ONE GALLON of gas in there. I honestly did not think I would be REQUIRED to put in ONE GALLON when the gauge was still touching the 1/4 marker..........considering that I only drove 15 miles and had the truck returned within 3 hours of the reserved 6 hours??
