Get the mileage right on contract so customer is not over charged have photos to prove counter help would not run fund their mistakes
The rear doors were frozen so I couldn't load the truck with the items that I needed because of it. So I had to make an extra trip. I also had to go back to the U haul that I rented the truck from, because I needed the doors to open which cause more mileage. I wasn't compensated for my inconvenience.I am so upset and disappointed in U haul. I rent trucks from them often.

Check in took double long because inexperienced desk agent made error on length of rental. Did not know about fee for after hours return until I arrived at 15 minutes after closing. I'm not tech savvy and was unsure if I did it right
I was initially told that the mileage was .99 per mile because I was renting on the weekend. I asked him to verify because that was not what I saw on the website, there was no mention of increasing mileage cost on certain days. He left and returned, agreed I was correct. Then on day of pick up, I heard him say this to another customer. Either the rates are higher or they aren't and it is clearly advertised, which it wasn't. This leaves a bad taste for me. Otherwise, GREAT experience, but make no mistake, I will remember those exchanges.

Your marketing is misleading. You advertise$29 for a rental that was actually 100+. I only traveled a small distance with all but 5 miles or less dedicated to the move the rest was picking up and returning the truck. I was charge $25 more when the truck was returned. It is dishonest advertising. Will not use uhaul again. Only because of the $70 upcharge.
I booked online for this rental, but that seemed to make little difference as I had to go through everything again in the store. When hooking up the trailer to my truck the two employees seemed to go over everything well and checked to make sure all the lights were working. THE BIG PROBLEM was when I got to my location, which was not near here or any other store, I parked the trailer and when I went to load my items, I found a keyed padlock on the door. I then had to drive about 15 minutes each way with the trailer to PURCHASE bolt cutters to be able to open the door. How was this never seen? Also, no one had ever looked inside the trailer from the previous rental as it hadn't been swept out and I found a thumb drive (easily seen) on the floor. I proceeded to give this to the gentleman checking the trailer back in and hope the previous customer got it. William Hartwick
The check in process took 40 minutes, instead of the 10 minute process, promised on the web site. The van we were assigned was in the middle of other vans and trucks. An employee came out and assigned us another van, he was great. The rest of the move went great. I was surprised how much the van could hold. We brought the van back, after hours. The check in process went a lot quicker; however, the picture that was sent, to drop off the keys, did not match this location. We had to search for the drop off box for the key. Other than that, I would recommend the van to anyone needing to move.

charge my account $1155.00 should have only charged me $119.00 im still trying to talk to some one that can help me so far no luck i keep being transferred and then no one calls me back

I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone! It is too expensive! I used a 10' truck within the city limit for a couple of hours and I ended up paying $83!
Rude employee. Long wait time. Employee refused to help offload trailer. Asked me to pull around back, back trailer into narrow slip, then come find him. I dropped trailer off in pouring rain and employee never inspected trailer for damage. Alerted employee that I called Uhaul customer service re uhaul trailer door jam and tail light. Asked employee to notate that the sliding door wasn't working properly and tail light out. Employee refused to notate. Will never do business with uhaul again and advise others to avoid uhaul as well. The uhaul location was filthy. Inside was disgusting.
Inside of driving area was not clean. Spilled drink residue and smelled of smoke. Windshield was cracked but did not notice until defroster melted ice and snow. This should have been revealed. Did call customer serves within 20 minutes to advise and they resolved. Second time We have been shorted on pads, only received 21, not 24. Pads came in four tied plastic bags so did not take time to count. Will always count in the future! Vehicle handled great, easy to maneuver, heater was great given the cold weather and the cost was worth the inconveniences. Would recommend U Haul.
It would be nice if the vehicle was clean inside.
Actually have the truck on site that was reserved would help lol. My experience with U Haul was TERRIBLE. They didnt have the truck I reserved. Then I had to drive back 20 miles to get the dolly i reserved. The key didnt work to the lock so I had to go purchase another one. And the truck felt and sounded like it was going to break down.
