The paint/decals were strongly crazed and it had the same dent in the fender that I always see when I rent it, but it was mostly clean inside. The tires had fresh tread (and worked fine), but looked old.

One of the items on the policy is to return the truck with the same level of fuel gas. Although it's a fair policy it seems that turning in the fuel level on 3/4 level is an unfair policy. It seems that this policy is always is in favor of U-Haul not customers as some or majority of customers will return the trucks with more fuel gas. Please change the fuel level to full rather than 3/4 level which will make it easier for customers to return the trucks with exact level of fuel gas.

the truck rental was exactly what I needed. However, it was extremely dirty inside and the back had a bunch of gravel in the bed -- the truck ran great and the Air was in perfect working order -- just wished it was at least wiped down inside.

The van smell so bad, look like they transport animal from Arizona. Also at the end your app, ask me to lock the van, I did it and left the key over the dashboard. By 10:50 I receive a phone asking me were I left the key I toll him is over the dashboard and I lock the van according the app. At the time I drop the van no one was there and of course I can't leve the key inside without looking the van. And the app was very clear in the last step by asking me to lock the van.

No Help waited in line over 20 min to rent. Truck was damaged. Returned early and lot people were complaining that so many people were returning at the same time. Also no where to park my car to enter rental office

The location isn't the best but the people and the equipment make it worth the visit. The people and equipment are what make this place worth a return visit. I did not experience anything I felt would warrant me telling you guys how you could do better. I felt you really did your best and it showed because it all worked for what I asked for. Thank you!

get the day laborers away from front entrance. They should be up at Cherry/ Jeronimo like all others do. It's a bit irritating to have them hound you to hire them. Then charge more than the others. What a joke this is not an employment line for a long-term honest job. W/o this happening I focus on the professionalism of who I am doing honest business with and I give props to. Thank you for being so helpful.

The location is very messy and poorly organized. Brian, the owner, was surly and rude to customers, ordering them around and acting generally disrespectful. That's bad enough, but it took an hour to pick up a truck that was reserved and he just didn't have a sensitivity to keeping people waiting. His two employees, however, did seem to be on the ball and polite, but the owner is a huge liability. I was horrified, and don't want to deal with him ever again.

Had to wait for 15 minutes initially to get someone to come to the office and rent out my truck to me. Nor sure what they were doing for so long.

We rented the 15' truck. We rolled up the door at the back and too late realized it was stuck at the top. After finally getting it unstuck we saw the instructions on the door detailing how to secure the latch so the problem doesn't happen. I'd say have the U-Haul clerk show the customer how to properly secure the latch in order to avoid the problem.

These comments DO NOT reflect the location on Olive Av. in Lake forest where I ended up getting the trailer from. These comments reflect the original online reservation I made for as trailer at RV Storage Depot located on Jeronimo Rd. in Mission Viejo. When I arrived at that location at my specific time I was told the trailer hadn't been returned yet. They tried calling the previous customer but no answer. I waited awhile until the person in the office said she found a trailer at the other location on Olive Av and I should go there. I was also told that since they missed my reservation appt., I would be entitled to the $50 credit BUT that the location on Olive Av. in Lake Forest would have to deal with that. This made absolutely no sense and I told her but her response was her location is a dealer and they don't do it - AGAIN, made no sense. I left the 1st location and went to the 2nd location on Olive Av and Brian was very helpful and we got the trailer rented. I explained the issue about the $50 credit and he tried calling the 1st location a couple of times but they had calls going to voice mail. I went back to the 1st location to ask about the $50 credit and she said she would call traffic and find out about it and get back to me. Needless to say, I never heard back. I called Monday PM to UHAUL customer support and started talking to one person who eventually disconnected me when she placed me on hold the 2nd time. I called back and spoke to a nice guy that I believe may have taken all the info and was passing it along to mgmt. I was supposed to hear back on Weds. he thought but nothing so far. I am starting to believe that nothing will occur and I won't get a response which won't be a good thing for Uhaul. I would never go back to the RV Storage Depot with this experience.

The best things about this location are availability of equipment and the people. Brian and the folks working there are always great and have a positive and customer focused attitude. Always smiling even when it is non-stop busy. As most folks know this location is tucked away in between other businesses. Parking is tough in the whole area and can be challenging BUT once you have been here you know what to expect AND the positive attitude from the employees makes up for the location.

The location was hard to find. They called me a few hours after I dropped and still asking me to bring the car back and then said they found the key! Total confusion on both sides.

When customer gives a return time that is after the store is closed, tell the customer that the place will be closed. don't have them show up to return the item only to find out the place is closed. Then get charged an extra day for returning the next morning.
