I still find it very troubling that when I make a reservation a week in advance for a location that it is not guaranteed to be at that location. When I checked-in online, it set me up 45 minutes away. However, I called the regional office and the representative was tremendously helpful--she couldn't get me at my requested location, but guaranteed me a unit nearby. Also, the many emails I received said someone would contact me 2 days in advance; no one did. However, the location where I was supposed to pick it up (45 minutes away) did call me to confirm my pick up after the location had been switched...this was quite worrisome as I received a text and my online reservation showed the new location.



The Lafayette Ambassador location has the nicest young men working there. They were helpful and knowledgeable. Moving is stressful so their friendliness and helpfulness is a breath of fresh air.

Uhaul online reservation is awful. I reserved a trailer at one location and trailer wasn’t available, so I was sent 40 minutes to a different location. Unacceptable!!!!



The gentleman met me outside. I didnt even go in the office. He overlooked the trailer checked everything and asked if i wanted to give him an email or did i want a printed receipt. He was very professional. I told him what happened at the pick up location and he said that they all get paid by the hour. Another words they get paid for there work and should not have hussled for a tip unless i wanted to give a tip.

The computer had a glitch and made me swipe my card twice. It took out the payment twice on Sunday and it still hasn't gone back in my account so my account is still holding an additional 113.90! That was really inconvenient but the people that work there were really nice and apologetic about it! The employees were wasn't their fault!

The whole situation was a nightmare. I ordered the car trailer over a week before at this location. I received a text early Thursday morning telling me that I have to pick it up in a whole different town. I contacted the new dealer and was told the trailer would be there early morning. When I was leaving my house to pick up the trailer I received a telephone call that I will need to go to another town because the trailer was not returned. While on the phone I get a call from the office in Shreveport LA saying that there is a car trailer for me to pick up at the original UHaul tore that I visited the week before. When I finally get to the Ambassador Caffrey store I see two car trailers sitting there. This aggravation and nervousness could have been avoided if UHaul would have left my reservation alone and allowed me to go where I made the reservation. NOT GOOD SERVICE!!!!

Make sure the vehicle gas gauge is on Full. This will be easier for the customer to put back the gas that was used correctly. This will avoid problems of reimbursing the customer if the customer over fills the amount that was used.

I was Charged for a $25 cleaning fee, when I brought the vehicle back in the same condition I recieved it. We literally used it for 5 hrs.
