Have actual workers that are knowledgeable, customer friendly and someone who can actually work computers. I arrived to the store 30 Minutes before my reservation even though my reservation was for another location but email sent me a totally different address , the truck I booked was not ready, the truck I received had an empty tank so I received a credit that didn’t accommodate my experience. I booked a rental for 24 hours and was told I had to have the truck back by 4pm so that another customer could use it! I booked a 17ft and received a 15ft which caused me to make double trips. I was not at all happy with these services and I regret allowing these people to just give me what they wanted!!

My U-Haul experience was a nightmare. I will never use U-Haul again in my life. My reservation was not honored at all. I called customer service to try to resolve the issue. The customer service representative that “assisted” me was not helpful and unbelievably rude. At the end of the day, all I needed was a truck. THERE WAS NOT ONE U-HAUL TRUCK AVAILABLE IN AN REGION WHERE THE POPULATION IS 200,000! What I don’t understand is why there was a truck sitting in the parking lot of one of the U-Haul locations with a “rent this truck” sign and the truck never moved the entire day as I passed the location multiple times in a van that had the same sign in it. Lastly, the “reservation guaranteed” sign in front of stores are complete bullshit and you guys should remove them because it’s misleading and untrue.

The place didnt have a dolly I requested but on the website you mentioned it is there. The person said he didnt had dolly for almost two years. So why would you put that up on the website. On top of it you guys are overcharging me for one extra day even when I only rented for 24 hours and returned to you well within 24 hours. Very dis satisfied . My U-Haul Contract 23283598 . I am charged two days money even though I only used for 24 hours.

First of all I was supposed to pick up the truck at the University storage location, my confirmation email told me to go there. When I arrived the person on staff at the University Storage location was discourteous and unsympathetic and rerouted my concerns saying they weren't responsible for any of it. I was rerouted to the Pinhook pick-up location which took about half an hour or more, by that time I was nearly an hour late to my destination, and one of the head lights on the vehicle didn't work. We were advised last minute to just "use high beams". It was a dreary rainy day and I feel like this was an unsafe suggestion driving in the city. The staff at the Pinkhook location was much nicer, just really slow. Overall I was unsatisfied. If you would like me to provide proof that I was told to go to other location and only bounced to another pick-up location once I was there I can send it to you. This really was a less than pleasant experience and I'm considering using other services that may be more reliable for pick-up details and proper upkeep of vehicles in the future. Your policy clearly states that if the vehicle is not available at said location then the customer will be reimbursed up to $50. Please respond.

I made the reservation online. The service representative was very knowledgeable and helpful . However, the Uhaul store was a horrible experience. Although I had made the reservation online and completed the forms online the 1 man who was working there was completely incompetent and had no idea of how to print out the documents. He was frazzled and confused and it took over 1 hour for our transaction to be completed when all that needed to be done was for him to print out the form and have us sign it . ( I had also paid for it prior to it and he couldn't give me the same rate because he stated that the computer wouldn't allow him to click on a link . ) We were on a time crunch so we just took the extra charge so we could leave . I will next time drive further to a different location to avoid this . I spoke to a friend after and learned they had a similar experience at that location. Someone needs to train the employees better or take away their UHaul license.

I took truck to this location at 430pm. Closed, no one there - hours say open until 5pm. Number listed on their sign- when I called it, it was a fax machine.

We were moved to this location without a phone call. It was not the best location for us. The new location was difficult to find unfriendly. It made our day much more stressful. Will consider another company for our future moving needs.

Flat rear tire repairman was there 30 min after I called and had it fixed while we still loaded the truck. Great service.

It is important to know that your rental confirmation does not guarantee a truck. Uhaul will only compensate you $50 for lack of a truck when you show up despite making the reservation a week in advance and confirming the exact time and location for pick up the day before. This is an inconvenience that is not acceptable.

If location is 24 hour drop off there should be someone available. I received email that required taking pictures of the truck etc for drop off. Problem is did not check email until after keys were in drop box so could not take pics as requested. Should have been informed of this when truck was picked up. Also received email that said receipt was attached with no attachment!

Location was dingy and dirty. Truck was not ready on time and only one person on staff. I had to fold/count blankets in truck, sweep out truck, help remove car trailer from prior rental. Truck was low on oil and no oil at location. I bought a gallon of oil at Walmart and filled it myself. Ordered 60 moving blankets but only had the 32 remaining (in an unfolded pile and covered with duct tape) in the truck. Air conditioning stopped working 3 hours into the trip from Louisiana to CT in August. All around a thoroughly miserable experience.

I was never greeted when I came in and the door didn't Close all the way the guy got up and said close the door very unprofessional if I didn't need the truck so bad I would have left.
