I spoke with the guy who handles the uhaul operations. He told me he didn't have room for the vehicle transport though he did, and that I needed to take it to another location, but I was to bring the truck back to his location (because he didn't have a big truck on the property). Just didn't want a 5th vehicle transport on his property. After explaining I was already over my mileage, and I didn't want to pay even more than the nearly $600.00 dollars (including fees, mileage overage, lying about the gas level in the truck that was returned. Paper work said half full, I returned it with $27 dollars over half.... Through multiple transactions at the gas pump so I wouldn't be charged. I was told I couldn't settle the bill in person, and that my card would be charged regardless of the fact I had cash in hand to settle any issue of the ending bill. This was done over the phone because he had left early. Over all I wish I had gone to Penske, or budget, or anyone else. I work hard for my money just like any American. I wish i wasn't taken for a fool. I hope the extra money taken from me was worth it, because it is replacing any business I would have given uhaul in the future, I hope you enjoy it, and put it to good use. Perhaps in further training staff on morals, and honest service. Good luck Beware of theives people, also beware giving you credit card information to sketchy businesses. They charge whatever they want, and there isn't much that can be done to get it back. I am personally taking this as a life lesson and further business with U-Haul. Lesson learned, and I look forward to doing business with other moving services in the future.

I literally walked in, handed the keys per the customer service person’s request, and walked out. I would have liked someine to check the fuel and verify it was returned at the required level, but in the end it was fine.

Be on time. My pick was 9 am. The guy showed up to work at 9:15 and started waiting on other people - selling lottery tickets and cigarettes. He acknowledged my presence, because I was there the day before and made me wait. By the time I left it was 10:15.

I have an email that states I was guaranteed a trailer and appliance dolly but when we went to pick up the equipment there was no appliance dolly. When I called to complain about it I was told I never ordered an appliance dolly. I had to go to another location to pick one up. So if I never ordered one why do I have an email that said I was guaranteed one and why could no one find my order for it??

It was a convenience store drop off location and I dropped off at 9:15 PM or so. Didn't really interact with staff at the store. Just too many trucks present to find good parking for the return.

The guy said he didnt have any room for me to drop off and told me to take it to some where esle. I refused and parked the trailer. After driving from Virginia to SC , I was floored by the atitude of the cashier/attendant. I had to physically move a enclosed trailer and a car carrier to park my drop off. Really slack service.

Returned the rented trailer as indicated on contract. Upon return, the associate asked if i could take the trailer to another location because he did not have the room. I refused to take it else where. Awkward situation, but the trailer was taken and I left.

The truck was rented for a 2200 mile trip, was in poor condition, and not properly serviced. Check engine warning came on the first day of a four day trip, ABS warning light came on the first day too. Air conditioning compressor failed on the second day. Fan belt swelled when it rained. Road side assistance was prompt be unable to provide any service.

They failed to give me the handtruck I paid for and I ended up loading the entire trailer without it. I returned that afternoon to ask them to take it off so that I don't get billed for not returning one and I was told that he could not do that and had to take one with me anyhow.
