After having dropped off the vehicle at the Redmond uhaul location, I was called at 8am telling me I would be charged $200 if I did not immedietly move the vehicle to the Kirkland location. I had to cancel several work meetings, and personal errands to drive to this location, park and get the keys. The man inside, although understanding and sympathetic that I was told 3 separate times to bring it to the Redmond location, explained to me that I had to take the vehicle to Kirkland and that this happens often with Uhaul. I then drove the vehicle to the Kirkland location where the young man inside refused to take the vehicle and said I had to call a phone number on my contract and schedule a drop off at any of 3 different locations several miles apart and it was up to corporate to determine where and when!! After asking for, and being told to drop off at the Redmond location 3 separate times, by three separate uhaul employees, then being told I had to bring it to Kirkland by a fourth, I explained everything and the young man agreed this was ridiculous and took the vehicle. I then had to pay $29.53 for an Uber back to my truck at the Redmond location and was subsequently charged $7.99 for going over my miles which was because I had to drive it to several locations!! Although this location was well respresented and clean, and the young man eventually wassympathetic and helpful, my overall experience was horrific, time consuming, cost me money that I should be compensated for and I will not recommend or plan on using the services of uhaul in the future. Among all these issues, the employees at each location complained about the company and how things are done. Unbelievable

I reserved a 10' truck. You didn't have one for me. You only had a van. That made required two trips of me rather than one. Ruined my day. I will not use Uhaul again. Ever.

Of ALL the times I’ve Ever had to rent a UHaul product, this was THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! (After paying...) I was given a p/u address, which changed the next day (unbeknownst to me)! When en route to the 2nd location (after receiving a LATE text!) we called to check the status, and I got scolded & cursed at by some irate “traffic/dispatch” BIT*H! She said, “I don’t have time for this...you’ll just have to take the truck they give you!” And she hung up on us! This was simply the tip of the iceberg of the CLUSTERF**K you refer to as “service!”

The pickup truck smelled very much like someone had been smoking in it. - was difficult to tolerate. Counter service was VERY VERY slow. One person doing all the work with 6 customers in line. Once that line finally got down to 2 customers, the counter person finally went and got help from one of the other 2 employees who were in the shop. Ridiculous.

Front desk lady is defensive non-stop defending her mishaps. No clearly marked no parking area as I parked the truck there was later told I was not supposed to park there. Had a locksmith open my truck when I haven't returned the truck and still have time for it. I returned a call from them within 2 minutes telling the lady from the other end of the call that I had the key and could return it and was told "I will let them know"". Then the front desk told me that I talked to customer service in Arizona not the store. How would I know when I dialed the local U haul number and it was answered. And when that person said "I will let them know", how come the store still hired a locksmith opened the truck charging me $165.30. The owner walked away while I was in the middle of telling him the whole thing and the front desk lady just kept on saying, "you can not park there... you talked to U haul from Arizona not us..." This is a great example of miscommunication and dropping balls on this store part and blame customers for it.

I drive past two or three other U-Haul‘s to drive to U haul of Kirkland. the staff there are 100% gentleman and I’m very pleased to have met the owner on multiple occasions. I buy and sell real estate and I find myself moving elderly people to their new homes most of the time they are to assisted living so there’s a large burden on my heart but U haul makes the situation just a little easier on me and for that I am eternally grateful.
