I order the 9ft Cargo van on Wednesday night from Caraco U-Haul on Steve Fonyo Drive and it went through without any problems. I go to pick up Thursday morning and my order was transferred to the Princess Street location without notifying me of the transfer. I did not appreciate this. I lost an hour out of my move time. What are you going to do about it?

Nothing but praise for the customer service people at this location. They were very efficient and helpful in all aspects of my rental. I had booked the wrong size vehicle first off. They changed it out for a larger one without any problems and were able to have the vehicle ready within 30 minutes. Well done your service was much appreciated.

Your express check out process is definitely not express. It took more time to do the express check out than it would going into the office. Definitely won't use it again.

Hi while I know picking up trucks can be a challenge there has to be a better way of not waiting in line. When booking a vehicle prior to pickup maybe a line for those clients for a quicker smoother check in. Maybe the booking ahead can have all info needed and when arriving a separate line for just activation. I waited 30 mins in line and that piece was frustrating aside from that all was good....Thankyou...Janet

I ordered furniture pads but when I got to my house they were not in the van. I called the store to let them know and they said that they would adjust the bill. I dropped off after hours with the tank a little under the 1/4 tank that I left with. The next day my bill reflected a billing for the furniture pads and the status of the gas tank showing close to empty. I called the store and got customer service. They forwarded me onto another person that couldn't do anything for me. I hung up and went to the store. The gentleman there did adjust my bill and apologize, so I was pleased. I do think that I should not have had to go through all of that though.

Time to scrap the old 26 ft trucks. No ac today in that humidity, give me a break. The glove compartment is half falling apart, my employee cut his leg on today. Please dont be so cheap, get rid of those pieces of crap trucks. It drives like an old tank, the suspension is also crap. Great staff, crap trucks.

I rented a u haul yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours. The woman Holly was very pleasant and personable. However when I came back to drop the truck off the 2 young individuals who were there were the most rudest and ignorant human being. He attempted to tell me that he's charging me for the fuel used, I told him to look at the mileage I used less then 40 km and I replaced the fuel used. He acted if I was some sort of criminal. Once I told him that I took pics of the interior gauges. He turned and was ready to refund me and accept the truck. So it makes me wonder how many other customers are being scammed and paying for additional charges then they need to. I wouldn't recommend this U Haul to anyone. The manager needs to watch the staff more closely.

I am currently having to call to reverse charges as I was told at my pick up that he was giving me an extra day free of charge which I've been billed for. Also the gas gauge is very hard to be accurate and I did my best to get it close to the marker but the odor gauge and the truck gauge look nothing alike I did my best but I've been billed for gas as well. ??

You guys have some great personnel (Kevin at the Winnipeg regional office!) but your company is terrible. Truly an unpleasant and stressful business to deal with during already stressful moves. If I could suggest anything it would be to be more honest about the likelihood of getting your equipment at all. Also to set up your site better to show what services are where. You will always have a next customer but they will only be there because there was no other choice. If you are planning a move prepare to possibly drive 500 extra kilometres to get your equipment if you get it at all. If you’re a customer please don’t get upset at the reps for not having your gear. They don’t decide that. The huge lack of fleet management and overall attitude of not caring about people’s time is entirely U-Haul.

Their booking system allowed us to book a van that was not available so someone had to call us to tell us we couldn’t have a van when the computer told us we could. We cancelled the reservation but the person calling said nothing about the $50 guarantee I later learned on the website was supposed to be given to us if our reservation was not honoured. We then booked for another day and that worked out. I could not find anywhere on the website where to cancel and couldn’t get through via phone, once we rebooked and needed to change the day again, but I was luckily able to figure out how to reschedule without access to anyone’s help via phone customer service. We had a very hard time accessing a human to talk to when needed and when we did they were inaudible. We used my credit card as the hold/deposit with the intention to pay by debit upon returning the truck and their debit system was down and we were told we could pay within 48 hours. We came back the next day to pay and my credit card had already been charged without my consent as if I had abandoned paying. They had to refund my credit card and I paid by debit. The truck also needed maintenance so that was a little unnerving.

Somebody needs to contact me ASAP. I had a reservation through aqua bay Kingston for over a month in advance. I found out the day before that people who reserved after me got the trucks and not me. Left me stranded a day before a busy moving weekend. Gave me a 1800 number and said good luck finding a truck. Absolute bullshit. This needs to be fixed.

When returned my truck I told the employee at the desk I had added fuel and it was well above 5/8. The same employee and I then went out to the truck. The employee finalized the bill on a tablet device while sitting in the drivers seat of the truck and told me the total was $84.24. When I inquired why the total was so much higher than the original $74 estimate when I had done less mileage than my earlier estimate. I was informed a receipt would be emailed to me with the details and have a good day. I said to the employee that I required a printed receipt and was told to get one from the office where I discovered an undisclosed fuel charge. Somehow between the truck and the office the employee mysteriously disposed of the original $74 estimate after moving the truck closer to the office. It can be seen by the billing information that I was charged $12.39 for fuel despite returning the truck with added fuel and was visually well above the 5/8 level. This was clearly not an accidental oversight. I was refunded the $12.39 by another employee before a third employee even returned from double checking the fuel level. The employee named on the receipt and the practices at this branch should be investigated by outside Uhaul staff. Do the employees work on commission? I would not recommend this location to an enemy and Zero stars not 1. Thank you and Beware
