Truck had a cracked convex mirror on the passenger side that the agents knew about. When I pointed it out to the agent he said "oh yeah we know about that" he then offered to place an "X" sticker on the mirror. This ended up pushing the piece of the mirror into the housing. When I returned it the I commented to the agent about the mirror and he said it would be fixed right away. Perhaps taking the truck out of service until the repair can be made would be the safest course of action.
One tire on the trailer only had 12 lbs of air in it but it was clean
It would be nice to have one of your employees do a quick check over of the vehicle with the customer so both parties can be on the same page in regards to the condition of vehicle/equipment being rented. Check tires, check for scrapes/damage, ensure nothing has been tampered with (eg. Emergency kit in the cabin of the truck, make sure the dolly is still zipped, etc.). It wasn't a problem i had this time but I saw some the room for error where folks might think they've been overcharged for items they do not use.

Your staff are great, so helpful and friendly.
Parking lot is crowded and difficult to manouver. We paid upon receipt of vehicle and were informed upon returning the vehicle that we didn't have to do anything else. 3 days later we received an email stating we were in arrears for money owing . $200 this 8hr 100km round trip cost. Ridiculous!
Ensure that equipment meets minimum safety standards. We left the site and started driving to Toronto and experienced a flat within the hour. When checked at u-haul depot located at Coburg which was also a Goodyear tire centre they replaced the tire and technician Logan found other left tire had low pressure of 16PSI. Two right tires were found to have dangerous PSI of 65 & 67 respectively. Our safety was compromised, we felt we were put in serious risk due to the extreme over / under inflation which should have been checked by attending staff at pick up.
Just a little 'FYI', just in case there is another "rarely rent pick ups" out there - as we found out - you release the tailgate by hitting the "unlock" button on the key fob. The person that we spoke with to try to find this out did not know this little tidbit. Our local office person did!! YAY! This came after sitting on hold for 1/2 an hour with our initial call. Too long for such an easy answer. Other than that, this was a great rental experience. Thank you.

The equipment was not up to my safety standards , several clearance lights were not working, neither was the license plate light.
My pickup location was carago kingston ontario the online pickup would not work called 1-800 number spoke to agent still couldnt fix problem switched to someone droped call restart process called again all info given again switched me to local gave info again finially had to go pickup truck at princess street locationworked out ok got truck the one thing i might suggest when 1-800 customer service couldnt help me with check in was right in front of lock box on wall at carago why couldnt she just give me lock box code to pick up truck insted of driving to other store Thanks Don Foulger 613-354-3667
This is a great UHual provider. Great service, equipment was ready and waiting, check in was quick, trailer connection and safety was efficient, service provider was helpful, and we were on our way in under 15 minutes. Highly recommended.
Two most recent experiences at this location have been excellent. There has been a change at this location within the last year and the new staff are extremely accommodating, respectful to customers and professional. even though this is significantly farther than several other locations I will continue to do my business at this store.
There was only one attendant on a Sunday. There were 4 people ahead of us in line so, even though we had made our reservation online, we had to wait over 30 minutes in line while other people were helped. This is not the attendant's fault - he did a great job helping everyone courteously and calmly - this is Uhaul's fault for understaffing their locations (especially for a weekend). Also, after I had the reservation, I had a couple of questions. I tried to phone the customer service line and after waiting 7 minutes, I was just disconnected. Then I tried the live chat and was attended to after 5 minutes. I've never had to wait that long for a live chat question. Very, very disappointed in Uhaul customer service - the people who helped me were great, but my impression is that the company's approach from the top down does not support their frontline workers to allow for excellent customer service.
Check vehicles for cleanliness and ensure everything is in working order. Make this a customer service priority.

I feel there should be short term (a few hours) parking for customers vehicles when the pick up.
There was a minor hang up with the GPS location not picking up for the pick up truck option. Sitting at the correct location and no go. Short of that the experience was great overall. Step up from the last few times I've rented

the gentleman working at that location was rude and i dont remember his name but this is the second time that uhaul has messed around with me and i am considering using another company when i have to move again the first time was when i arranged for a truck in Keswick ontario and had to go to barrie on the day i was to pick up the truck and i was not happy that added an extra time and mileage to my move but i decided to try again with uhaul and got a rude person when i tried to order the truck .Just curious is your company all about the money and respect for the customers .
All was well done. Both reps helped to get me in and out in a timely manner. Good service overall.
Perhaps offer a light in the storage unit.
Hi, I have a file open from my rental on Sat Sept 26. #2875876. I have not heard from anyone with follow up. When I rented the van the web site said $19.95 and I was charged 89$. I look forward to hearing from the Manager as promised. Thank you!
