This location, at the time, only had two 15’ box trucks. I needed a pickup truck. Other than that, experience was smooth. I’d recommend.

It would be good to give your customer explicit information about how to turn off the haul/tow mechanism on the transmission. I finally figured it out, but many people might not even know that it's on, and it's very hard on your mileage, plus I don't really think it's good for the vehicle to run with it on when it's not towing something. Maybe put a sticker on the dash to let people know how to turn it off.

I showed up to get my truck and the 3 digit code for the lock box did not work. I was not able to get the key to drive the truck. The contact that was listed "Richard" did not answer my phone called, voicemails or texts messages and never returned my call. Will not be using Uhaul in the future.

A 60 and 69 year old had one hell of a time checking out truck via the cell phone. Finally the night guy there came and helped us out or we would still be there. Not senior friendly!

The location was closed on sunday when I rented the U-Haul. The app messed up and wasn’t user friendly. I received a call from a U-Haul rep that was very rude and not understanding or helpful. I called U-Haul 3 times and was hold for long periods of time. I don’t have a problem with the people at this office it’s at the U-Haul customer service place

I rented a large truck. When I returned it to this location there were no parking spaces. I pulled into a driveway that led down to the storage spaces. When I took the keys inside, the desk clerk told me that I needed to park out on the road where it was clearly marked no parking here. When I asked him if that's really where he wanted me to park, he looked at me like it was something wrong with me. Firstly, please don't ask me to park in front of a No Parking sign. Secondly, please treat me with dignity. I am a customer spending money at your business.

U-Haul was extremely UNORGANIZED. First of all, the online process does not explain or have the "one- way" fee listed. It also advertises that 30 miles are included in the truck deposit. My reservation was not ready when we needed it at 8:00 AM because the dealer did not open until 9:00AM. We were not informed of this until the morning. When we got there, the total was going to be over double what we had anticipated. No one could explain the extra fees... How a $29 truck, $14 insurance, $1 environmental fee adds to $150.. DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. Even if you try to tell me the 30 miles isn't really included like it says online. OR Even if you tell me there is a one way for or not. NO WAY should the total have been over $80. We called to find a truck closer to use, went to that location and it wasn't there. We did not have a truck until TWO AND A HALF hours later that we needed it in the morning. MISERABLE MORNING. Everyone you talk to on the phone is worthless because they do not actually know anything about the place where the truck "is" (or isn't).

A vehicle was blocking the turn in and we had to back- up onto a busy street. We told the people in the shop - they didn’t care. Even though I had a reservation to return the truck there, they said they were closed to accepting trucks. They did take it but it felt like we had done something wrong.

Safemove was added to my contract after a specifically declined it while reserving on line. The agent did not review the contract with me before committing it to the system, so when I pointed out the up-charge, he told me he couldn't remove it. (I DON'T BELIEVE THIS). I spent the next 15 minutes sitting in the truck in the parking lot calling U-Haul customer service to dispute the charge. The agent was also unable or unwilling to adjust the total mileage allowance for a move to a country location. I asked to pre-buy miles as well which I understand is not offered.

I took the lady nearly an hour to check us in after I already did the online for quick check in. The location did not have the dollies and pads that I had reserved and they sent me to another place to pick them. I was being charged by the mile to go out of my way to pick up the stuff. Since it took so long for us to get the truck the movers I was paying by the hour were just sitting at my not able to move anything. Very frustrating experience. The second location we picked up the extra equipment at was very helpful and efficient, I wish we could have been able to just get the truck there in the first place.
