The cab was dirty. They said there was a half tank of gas but it was just below half. They did not walk around and look at the truck. They just handed me the keys

This location was great. I reserved a trailer from a different location (city wide auto repair). When I arrived, the lights on the 5'x8' trailer weren't working correctly. The guys said they have been having trouble with the lights but had someone fix them recently. Instead of offering me the 6'x12' trailer as a substitute, we offered me the upgrade for additional money (they had 2 6'x12' trailers that weren't rented). He moved my reservation across town which cost me additional time, and gas. this is an example of poor customer service
Trailer had animal shit in the floor. Marker light was not working on passage tail. Representative never offered to have a worker clean out trailer befor I took it. Pick up time was 3 PM. No one was there for pock up till 3:15
The truck was very disgusting smelled of beer and poor customer service
original drop location was in a very unsafe area, no agent on duty, no drop box for the Uhaul keys. Had to call uhaul customer service for alternate location, agent on the phone was not helpful, asked for instruction many times, finally asked for alternate location due to safety, alternate location had no ample parking area to rest the uhaul, man from drop location walked up to us in the Dollar General parking lot and took the keys, said he would park the truck and we were free to leave, no paperwork given, still unsafe area, almost dark so we left. horrible experience
No paperwork for truck he told me bet the truck had a half a tank of gas it only had a quarter tank of gas when I got there the truck was not ready I've already paid my moving help by the hour and it cost me about an hour delay waiting on the truck no one was there too when I return the truck I had to lock the dolly on the inside of the truck and put the keys in the key box
Shady neighborhoood, didnt have reservation info right. Check out guy was very nice.
First off, when I made reservations I booked a 26' AND 1 Appliance dolly and a box dolly, it was added to my reservation. My husband bright the truck home and no Dolly's! Called the customer service line and explained to him, and he said it WAS NOT ON MY RESERVATION, ok first off, do NOT argue with a customer, second, make it right! No, he told me to go back to the location and purchase dollies, ok why should I have to purchase when I REQUESTED them in the initial reservation? By now, it's only 10:00 AM!!! I go back to the location and the guy looked at me stupid and said we have no dollies here, and said even if I did, I needed my reservation number. Really? I just paid UHAUL $185 dollars to move and you can't pull nothing up with the information I am trying to give you? NOPE!!! So I had to call ANOTHER location near by to find dollies, I had to do a WHOLE NEW CONTRACT for 2 damn dollies! I will NEVER use Uhaul again, I would rather chop my arm off and feed it to my dogs then to allow you to take money for any future moves!!! You suck so bad!!! AND to top it all off, my Husband gets in the truck and it ONLY had 3/8ths of a tank of gas!!!! You give it to us with 3/8, that's what your getting back!!! I should not and will not put a full tank of gas in it when I ONLY get 3/8!!!! I overheard a "DEAF GUY" trying to tell/sign to a rep that he thought that he only needed to put a certain amount in, and she was like "NO, you MUST have a full tank or we will charge you $4.00 a gallon if you don't!! WTF!!?? And I know this "BAD REVIEW" will go no where!!! It's okay, cause I will send future friends and family that are moving over to Ryder for all their upcoming moving needs! You took us for almost $200 because your greedy and have POOR customer service skills and people behind your counter!
We were picking up an auto transport at this location. This location is an auto mechanic shop. The road to get to the building was lined on both sides with vehicles, and there was barely enough room to fit a trailer through. The customer service was friendly, but it took us almost an hour to wait in line, and then fill out paperwork and hitch up the trailer. There were at least 20 people in the lobby waiting to get their cars fixed, completely unrelated to Uhaul, yet there was only 1 person at the desk and he was handling the auto shop in addition to the Uhaul reservations. I do not recommend this location simply because it is very inefficient and your time is wasted waiting for their auto repair business to take priority.
Make sure that pickup point know's all the details of the agreement's between custormer and u-haul ...
This location was hard to find.
Even with a reservation I waited 45 minutes before starting to hookup my trailer. Seemed like only 2 people were trained on trailers. One was a mechanic who disregarded my reservation to help walk-in and phone customers. The other was on lunch break 2 hours prior to close and only came back after being talked to over the phone twice. Poor location in terms of parking and trailer access.
The Auto Stop Shoppe is well run. The recent renovations give the company a professional feel.

I requested 9 AM in/around Blue Springs, reserved a month ago. Reservation confirmation was NOON, pickup over 15 miles away in a AWFUL part of town. I called customer Svc and spoke to "Becky in Scheduling" 3 times. She assured me I'd be updated, called back and would be picking up at 9 am in Blue Springs (USA rental in Blue Springs at 8 AM). She never called me back or emailed as she said would happen. I (again) called Sat AM and spoke to "Maria in Scheduling" who said sorry nothing can be done and "Becki" had sone nothing. I called my pickup point, Auto Stop Shop 816 923-0626 who allowed me to pick up at 9 AM, but ended up driving 30 miles, and going into an awful part of KC. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, worst I've ever seen. I have called Joanne Fried VP UHaul Public Relations and asked her to call me. I won't be back and will also tell all my friends how this went.
The gentleman that helped me was extremely polite. I would even consider using this shop should I ever need work done on my car.

I didn't like that there were guys hanging outside the location when I went to drop off the uhaul after business hours. I believe i left my cell phone on the counter but it was never turned over to me
Nice people but a poor location. The oil warning light was on the entire trip. I was told not to worry about it.
when i went onlie this was the option that was given to me. I then came to find out that there is an entire UHaul store much closer to me, but this was not presented as an option. The service at my pickup location, however, was EXCELLENT. They coudl not have been nicer or more helpful - espeically b/c my car did not have what it needed on the hitch. They could not have been better!!! The location was just inconvenient.
