You changed both my pick up and drop off locations, you contacted me 5 mins before I was heading out the door to change both my pick up locations and the length of the truck which was approximately 10 feet longer than what I reserved and the only other option/ suggestion uhaul staff was to change my move date, as if that was a possibility. Please note the rational I was given was that Uhaul was offering an upgrade, and additional miles as if I was now going to move further away and required those miles. As if that wasn't enough additional stress you leave messages to change my drop off location in another town when the one in Carlton place was open on Sunday because we drove by it on the way to Stittsville , which was in another town again. When I questioned the man regarding changing location again, he told me I could take it where I wanted but if uhaul gets a ticket I will have to pay for it and I was also told by the same worker that uhaul had a very difficult weekend, no disrespect but the company's ability to resolve their issues are not nor should not be my concern or responsibility, again great customer service. I can not express my dissatisfaction enough. Please understand I take no pleasure in writing this, however if this is how you treat paying customers, who made a reservation and you failed to hold the reservation, I will find it difficult using you again for my moving needs or recommending you to anyone else. when i reserved the truck i was told to pick it up at a nearby location. an hour before i was to pick it up i get a call giving me another location that was fair distance considering i was paying milage.

The guy who owned the drop off location was the most unprofessional person to work with. I didn’t even pick it up at the location in my reservation, he made me pick it up somewhere else (he owns multiple locations). The night before pickup when he called to tell me it was somewhere else he would not explain as to why. I called the customer service line and they said he was wrong and that I had the right to pick it up where my reservation said. So I called this guy again and he said no, so I ended up driving out of my way to pick up the truck. He said if I wanted a truck I have to go get it because my reservation was wrong and he wasn’t willing to bring a truck to this location. While speaking to the guy who owns this location, he was rude, short, unprofessionl, and he even hung up on me mid sentence. Never again will I go to his locations. Uhaul customer service was lovely though, and did what they could to rectify the issue.

My pickup location was changes to 245 Wesbrook Road, despite a guaranteed rental from 45 Edgewater St. This added about 15km to my trip (10$). The building was dirty and had a strong odor. It was very difficult to get the truck in and out of the parking lot due to a narrow drive partially blocked by customer cars and out of service uhaul trucks.

I had the worst experience. The location was disgusting, dirty, smelly, unorganized. When you show up there isn’t even an indication of where to enter the building. The worker was rude, not knowledgeable, and provided awful customer service. Tried to convince us that the add on costs were mandatory, also didn’t know how to use the system. Told us the truck was way at the back of the building. Forced us to go find it among many, and then we found out it was back there at all, it was at the very front of the building. I will not be going back to u-haul in the future.

I was really frustrated and upset that I was charged for the previous user's mileage. While a quick call to the helpline resolved it, I shouldn't have had to been watching out for an excess charge. I am hesitant to use the service again as a result.

Don't assume that if you enter all your information online ahead of time that when you arrive it will be a quick process. Waiting and repeated computer problems resulted in what should have been a quick process into a 45+ minute marathon of waiting and repeatedly having our information re-entered into the system. Proprietor claimed the computer system was to blame but other issues while we were there left us less than impressed with this location.

I went to pickup my reserved truck at one location (DuMaurier Ave.) and the unit was not returned by previous customer on-time. It took a long time to arrange another location (almost an hour), which sorry but honestly is the regular experience I have had with Uhaul - problem resolution / changes are very lengthy. I then had the same lengthy experience as last time with completing the transaction with the representative (Super Tom) at Westbrook road. These hassles made me late for my visitation / friends childs birthday party. This will be my last attempt with Uhaul. Too many problems



Tom was extremely helpful and efficient. I would not have any hesitation recommending this U-haul location.
