I had pre scheduled a pick up, and upon arrival had to wait about 25minites before being helped. There was no mention of the wait, or an apology. There was no music playing or anything to keep waiting customers busy. People were clearly getting agitated.

Truck was clean. Low oil light came in after driving less than 5 miles. Called the store, was told to ignore it as was driving less than 30 miles. When I returned truck was told a sensor in truck did not work right.

It's not U-Haul, it's the neighborhood it's in. Not the best. Would be great if they had vans at the Gull Rd. location, across from Nazareth. I would've only had to cross the street, for 1 thing. Also much safer area.

The van I rented stunk like cat urine, so badly that it blew out of the vents when the AC was turned on. After a minute of choking on the smell, I opened both windows and kept them open for the duration. I believe there may have also been fleas in the upholstery because I came home with a few small bites where my legs were in contact with the seat. I reported it to the uhaul people and they said they would disinfect the van. I feel like disinfection should be standard practice for any rental place, especially when belongings are being moved. You wouldn’t want to take home other people’s pests as uninvited guests.

I went to drop off my uhaul at 6:45, but they were closed 15 minutes early and charged me double. They charged me for 48 hours when I only had it for 11 and a half.

During pick up on a Sunday morning, I had a reservation and still waited for over 30 minutes to pick up the truck. There were only two staff. They did a fabulous job managing it all on their own, but people in line were not happy

This specific location on Portage in Kalamazoo, MI has wonderful staff! No complaints there, but Uhaul overall has the WORST customer service imaginable when calling into their c/s by phone. I literally spent hours on hold, being transferred, while getting nowhere. I drove an hour and a half each way (out of my way) to pickup/drop off the cargo van, and was charged the mileage because they couldn't figure out which location was closest to my home. Really?? Absolutely horrible experience, and I will NEVER use UHaul again. What to do for next customer: Actually have the best interest of the customer in mind. Train the folks on the C/S lines to be able to help. Customers don't enjoy being transferred to several different people. Nor do they like driving an hour and a half out of the way to pick up their vehicle, an hour and a half out of their way to drop it off, and being charge mileage for UHaul's inability to serve their customers.

I took a long drive and turned my trailer in about 4 days early. You should quote people for 1 week like you already do but you should refund some of the money if they turn it in early.

Due to my own lack of understanding, I had to bring back the first truck for a different one that had a draw bar receiver installed. When I called the number on the rental agreement to explain the situation, the person who answer was very short with me and stated that they didn't rent out trucks with receivers so no one could help me. I then had to explain to her that we had rented a truck 2 days prior that did have a receiver so I knew they existed. She then said she would have a manager look into it and call me. When the manager called, he had no idea why he was calling me. The lady didn't give him any information at all. When I explained the situation he said it was no problem and they could help me. As I was talking to the people who actually work at the location (Who were both extremely pleasant and helpful!), I found out the people answering the "local number" are all in call centers in Arizona and know nothing about the location or the equipment.

I waited over a half hour to turn my truck back in. Maybe you should just have one person for returns, one for rentals and one as a floater.

Made reservations six weeks out for truck and trailer (dolly). Trailer to be piked up day after truck. This reservation was at 6741 S Sprinkle Rd Portage MI 49002. Pick-up day the truck was not available. Told to go to U-Haul, 1004 Portage Rd, Kalamazoo. Picked up truck and paperwork. The paperwork was incorrect with mileage,gas and drop off location. Paperwork had 5115.0 and 5/8 tank of gas, incorrect drop off spot and turn in date. Actual millage on truck was 26252.9 and 1/4 tank. Didn't update contract on computer but wrote correct information on the paper. Went to pick up dolly earlier than scheduled the following day. Another persons was there wanting the last dolly. If I had not shown up early I would not have had a dolly to transport my car. One of the lights on the dolly wasn't working and had to be fixed.
