The over all experience was terrible and I have rented 3 U-hauls in the last 4 months alone. I have never had such a difficult experience, this Jasper location was the only location that was good. I made a reservation online 3 days before at a store in Canton for 9 a.m. I called at 7:20 that morning to ask if I could pick the truck up about 30 minutes late (about 9:30) since I was putting my dogs in boarding for the day and the dog place place opened at 9:00. The lady on the phone said that was fine and she would see me about 9:40-9:45. Well, in the system she inadvertently chose 9 p.m. I arrived at the U-haul place where I reserved the truck and they had no trucks, actually said they never did. They said my reservation was changed to 9:30 p.m. they were very matter of fact and could have cared less. I spent 35 minutes on the phone with U haul customer service and got a $50 voucher while I drove 30 minutes out of my way to the Jasper facility and got the truck I needed and agreed to drop the truck that same day, either somewhere in Roswell, Milton or Canton. Not sure exactly since my whole location situation had changed due to my reservation at Canton being changed. I used the truck, it was a nice truck and ran well. I completed the form and filled the tank and put everything in the drop box. The next day I get a call about 4 pm asking when I was going to return the truck or they were going to report it missing. WHAT???? I told her it already returned it the night before in Milton, with gas. She said I was supposed to return the truck in Atlanta. I explained that would not have ever been agreed to as I would have had no ride home and we agreed to 3 different locations and Atlanta was NEVER one of them. She said that's what the system showed and I could handle it through customer service but I would be billed accordingly. I spent another 20 minutes of my life I won't ever get back explaining to customer service the truck was not missing, it had been returned the previous night to one of three locations we agreed upon. I was never supposed to leave it in atlanta as I would have been stranded. Despite what showed in their system, just like I was picking up the original truck 30 min LATER not at 9:30 at night. Moving is stressful enough, it is costly enough. I had my dogs in boarding, I had friends scheduled to help and this was a mess from the moment I arrived. I appreciate the $50 voucher but I spent that in gas going to Canton for no reason and then to Jasper. I think for a WORLD-WIDE company to have a customer sit on hold for 30 minutes is inexcusable. You are big enough and make enough money to handle your phone system better, that is simply crappy customer service. I've just never had an experience with U-Haul like this before. It was frustrating and disappointing and the service people in the stores could have cared less.

Was charged $25 because the truck was not swept out according to the business. Truck was swept and took pictures after. I believe the business just charged $25 to take advantage of customer.

Your toll free number gave me a non-existent location. Subsequent calls to toll free obtained a substitute location. Agent said it was open until 2:00 pm. Talked to the guy there and got directions and advised we were on our way to arrive in a few minutes. We arrived in about 10 minutes at 12:55 on Saturday. Upon arrival, he had closed down and left. I had to unhitch trailer and found a car detail guy out front to unlock door to return rental items and leave a note.

We dropped the key in the overnight drop box before completing the steps on the website (which required pictures from inside the truck). I suggest a sticker on the box saying "WAIT - Have you completed your turn in online?" something to let people know they shouldn't drop in their key yet. Also we found this location b/c the assigned location "Faz Corner" is NOT a Uhaul Dealer so they directed me to the Prestige Location. Pretty disorganized but we made it work.

No one was available at this location at time of drop off. So no real experience there. Although the original drop off location at fax corner no longer existed. To be honest to rent a trailer to carry a small car I was forced to go to 3 different location to find it. To drop it off required 2 different location. So overall I would say I spent 2 hours trying just get the trailer and another 1 hour to drop it off

They rented me a vehicle transit with non-working lights. We called the location to see if the situation could be remedied, but all we got was a response of "well it was working when you left, we have video surveillance so call road side assistance." When we returned the transit in Pikeville Ky, the uhaul representative was appalled that we made it from Georgia to Kentucky accident free because it was missing parts and isn't rentable until he gets it fixed. I had my son in the cab of the uhaul which contained all of our belongings and our vehicle attached to the back. I am SO thankful that an accident didnt occur because we could have been killed or killed someone else on the road.

The staff was friendly and helpful on pickup of the vehicle. However that ended there. When I got in the truck there was grass and debris in the floorboards and half-empty soda bottles under and behind the seats. The service engine light was on when I started the truck. Not a great start... Then upon return, having taken to heart the signs reminding users to sweep out the truck to avoid the $25 cleaning fee, we swept the bed of the truck and cleaned out (the previous users) trash from the cab. When I received my receipt the next business day, low and behold there was that $25 cleaning fee! When calling the shop, they insisted that they had to sweep out "wood chips and bobby pins" and that was why they charged me. I will NOT be using that location again.
