Horrible experience, the location itself is filthy. They are supposed to be open at 9, I waited 15 minutes for someone to come. I was charged for insurance when I didn't ask for it. The people that work there are very unprofessional and added additional charges that I now have to dispute.

The customer service representatives were very professional and helpful, but the location and the equipment were the poorest quality I've ever experienced with U-Haul. I cannot understand how the location, and specifically the truck I rented, are still in operation. The equipment was well below my expectations for U-Haul. The location is a junk yard. Literally.
The inside of the truck was not clean or suitable. The battery of the truck died which delayed my day and the uhaul location needs to be cleaned throughly. There were abandoned cars and car parts and trash everywhere. I could barely walk through the entrance to get assistance.
This experience was far from good. I went through a stressful situation, where my pick up location was changed at the last minute. The new location was like a garbage site, literally. The truck was not working properly. When I called the scheduling department to complain, I was told to cancel the contract and go to the initial location where I was supposed to pick the up truck, and the lady on phone confirmed to me that a truck is available there. I cancelled the contract and head towards the 168 Street/Douglass avenue, Queens. When I arrived there, the manager told that she didn't have a truck for me. I tried to explain to her my situation but she said she was busy. I called again the scheduling dept and only then, the lady took care of the situation and made a new reservation for me, not for a truck, though, but for a cargo van, which was not the vehicle I reserved online the day before. How can you fairly describe this service?
Good day UHaul Representative, After I returned the vehicle, I found that I was unjustly charged for refueling, $30 fuel fill-up + $46.50 Refuel Sales. I drove a total of 2 miles! When I discussed the matter with Ms. Foster at the location and asked for a refund, she said she couldn't issue me a refund that I would have to wait until Sept 30 to speak to her supervisor. Makes no sense since she herself generated the contract and saw that the fuel level was the same. I feel like Uhaul is trying to steal money from me, hope to get this rectified.

It look like a run down scrape yard. Employee non responsive, and vehicles were in poor condition.
Overall area was very dirty/unkempt. Truck was ok, but minimally maintained. Both outside mirrors were loose and moved. There was no ramp or safety straps equipped and there were check engine and tire indicator lights on dashboard panel.
The owner needs to be trained on how to communicate/explain the process to customers. It should be noted what equipment he does not carry. I wanted furniture covers & didnt find out that he didn't have them until I came to pick up the truck. I waited an hour for the 10' truck that was on it's way. I decided to take a bigger size because I just wanted to get out of there. The staff was very helpful.
Good service
The vehicle was not properly maintained. The serbice light came in and I had tocall and have oil put in just to then try to complete my task. Due to issues with the truck I was unable to complete my iobjective. I want a fuill refund. I will have to rent another truck and pay helpers again
Customer service was excellent and I was very satisfied with my experience.
The location should look more presentable, clean and hospitable.
Lots of garbage on site, need to remove garbage.
The manager complained to give me paperwork. He would not check my truck back in. He told me to take a picture of the miles. He rented or used it and tried to charge me for the extra miles. The truck side mirrors were being held up with duct tape. The top right corner had a hole in the roof and the inside was nasty. If I did not need the truck to deliver emergency food to seniors for elected officials, O would have cancelled. Uhaul don't normally conduct business like this.
The truck i rented was the 17ft. model. There was a hole in the ceiling of the truck. Passenger Mirror was loose and I was unable to use it while driving. The young woman behind the counter is the only thing that made my experience bearable. She was very pleasant and patient. Her computer was down. the mobile app was very slow. i truly felt bad that this woman had to work in these conditions. Someone from Corporate should do a unannounced visit to that location. Shame on the owner..
When returning the van i rented the owner was blocking the driveway in which he did not want to move in order for me to return the vehicle. Causing traffic knowing that i only wanted to do my part in dropping it off.He was extremely rude to my cousin and this was the most horrible costumer experience that i have ever encountered. The owners account with uhaul should be revoked because it makes the company look Really bad. I have rented before from other locations and received great service,nothing close to this garbage place
This is a 3rd party uhaul, the wait for a truck was extremely long, we did not receive the car with a full tank yet not was I given a clean van, yes I was was charged for fuel and cleaning fees. I left the keys in the drop off box and was called to say the vehicle had not been returned, it was just terrible service overall. I've rented out a uhaul before from the Woodside location and never experience anywhere as horrible service as this one.
The service was great guys helped on the phone. Even called with a follow up after the truck was returned.

Advice to everyone take before and after pis of everything. Was charge 5 miles over and 6.4gal($27) of gas.
Make clear what the hours are at Every location. I was sent to the Regency location on Springfield Blvd and they were closed .
