I was charged for an additional day (29.96) despite turning in my trailer today. This could have been because I changed my pick up day in Tennessee. There is too much going on help and no help with trailer electric connections and hitch ball size. Every location needs to be able to help customers. They actually let me drive without lights ! Also did not tell me anything about drop off locations and calling etc. I had to go to 4 places for drop off. And what is up with U-Haul locations that say "we are not a drop off location"? All U-Haul stores should be drop off locations. It is ridiculous! I don't think I'll ever use U-Haul again.

I have no complaints with the location, only the corporate reservation process. I made a reservation 10 days prior to my move date, providing a credit card to HOLD the reservation. A ONE-WAY move is also something that involves a great deal of scheduling, not something done on a whim. Although there is a UHAUL location right down the street, there were no trucks available at that location, when making the reservation, so I chose the closest that had a truck available. If UHAUL was truly interested in customer service, they would have someone moving trucks to the preferred locations to satisfy a reservation. The day before our move, I get a phone call that our reservation had been moved to a location about 20 miles from our home. The time was not changed. We get to the location 40 minutes after the assigned time of 9:00 am, and they tell us there are no trucks there .....that we were late. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? What is the point of making the RESERVATION? There was also no communication on the reservation confirmation stating that if you arrive 15 minutes after the scheduled time, YOU ARE SCREWED. So I called the number that called me to tell me the reservation had been moved, and they tell me there is a truck available on the other side of town. Not really having a choice I said YES HOLD the TRUCK...so we drive across town and pick up the truck...the whole process took 3 hours (time is not a luxury when you are trying to pack and move. If you are taking a credit card to HOLD a reservation, implement the policy like hotels and require cancellation, by 6:00 PM, the day befoire ,if you don't show up within the DAY you are scheduled to pick up your truck then charge the credit card for the FULL RENTAL....that way UHAUL is not out any money for lost revenue and RESERVATIONS ARE ACTUALLY HELD for the person that may be running late, as THEY HAD TO DRIVE 15 MILES FARTHER TO PICK UP THE TRUCK! THE POLICY SUCKS!

The woman that helped me was very nice, but the uhaul truck had food in in, and it took 1 1/2hrs to bring the truck out...so we just waited in the rain, which pushed our moving time back.

The problems is not your franchisee. The problem is U-HAUL. How are you still in business? Even this survey is jacked up... I'm not returning the trailer in Maryland!!! I reserved a trailer online, location didn’t have the trailer in stock, said they never did. They sent me to a second location. Then a third location. Got there, and it literally took ONE HOUR for them to get my reservation out of the computer and give me a trailer. Your computer system is seriously broken and the franchisees are untrained on the software (at all three locations). The amount on this contract is wrong. And, why is it issued out of Laurel, MD? I'm not taking anything to Maryland!! I want to return to the original location, just a few hours after I rented it, but they are closed until Tuesday. I've called 800-GO-UHAUL. I've been on your web site. NO RETURN INSTRUCTIONS. I called the number for the pickup location and I got someone's personal cell phone voicemail. No instructions whatsoever on where to return the trailer. The place I rented it from is closed until Tuesday. What am I supposed to do?? I tried to go to your web site. No links from my rental page on return instructions or locations. Called 800-GO-UHAUL. On hold forever. It took me three hours to GET the trailer, and now I’ve been trying to return it for over an HOUR. I’m happy to wait until Tuesday to return the trailer, but I just need CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS! Who pays me for MY TIME?

To be honest. I was a little stressed but the experience in it self didn't help either being that the location didn't take cash. I wish the guy would've told me what was up before hand. Plus I had to rent a big as uhaul for the small order I had since yall don't provide balls for the back of the trailers. Like who does that. It is really bad for business. The people at my pickup location were friendly and professional, but it was not the pickup location that I requested. I reserved my truck almost a month in advance and less than 24 hours before we were due to pick the truck up, we received a phone call saying that the truck was not available at my requested location. This new location was farther from my home and out of the way. I feel as though a month is ample time to move a truck to a requested location and that is it very bad customer service to not have pre-ordered and prepaid equipment at the agreed upon location.

Difficult to get in and out of being a busy repair shop on a major road. Had to get help from the bar next door so I could go through their yard to get my trailer. The entire process took almost an hour. Then, after being told that it wouldn’t be a huge deal if I was a few hours late returning the trailer, I was charged for three full days of rental. I was *maybe* 4 hours late and this can be confirmed with the bar because they had to open the gate AGAIN for me to bring it back because your front area was full and there was nowhere to put the trailer

There is absolutely nothing needed to improve for the next customer. I scheduled my pick up appointment four 5:00 arrived an hour early in my rental is already parked out front. Feel ready for me to leave one of the best experiences that I've ever had at a U-Haul. Will definitely use this location for future rentals.

This wasn’t the intended pick up location. All Wet Sports released my reserved truck to someone else and failed to contact me after doing so so the ONLY truck available was at Bayard and they did NOT have any of the supplies I reserved as well.

There is no questions on the online ordering, which was terrible. I needed a trailer last minute and went online last night and booked one at a location just a few miles away. I received a email this morning that my schedule pick up was on the other side of town. I called them to cancel, they did help me get a new reservation at a closer location but the location didn't have a trailer so I had to rent a truck, which I did for more expense. The truck I rented stalled several times, was dirty inside the cargo area and didn't come with a appliance dolly which I needed and requested due to moving a refrigerator, so I had to use the utility dolly and almost lost balance coming off the ramp of the truck. I was so stressed, I didn't notice that I had insurance added to my rental and was so frustrated that I didn't care anymore. This was the worst experience I have had in the 30 years I have been renting with u-haul. Next time I guess I will need to do everyone's job and double or triple check everyone.
